Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Cautiously pushing the treasure box in front of Iyas, Yang Yu rubbed his hands together eagerly, wanting to see what good things Iyas’s luck could unveil.

Although the legendary equipment for clearing Lux’s labyrinth is supposedly set, it doesn’t stop Yang Yu from having a bit of anticipation.

If this time the treasure box truly relies on luck and Iyas opens something good, it would be a massive win.

Used to Yang Yu’s behavior of hitching luck, Iyas took two steps forward and swiftly opened the treasure box.

Inside lay a light blue scepter half a foot long, a heavenly stone the size of a fist, and a skill scroll.

The first thing Yang Yu took out was the heavenly stone, which he directly stored into the system.

This item needs no further explanation, as it is an extremely rare material.

Currently, Yang Yu is too far from the capital of the Dragon God Evaluation Country, Makuder, so there’s no way to turn this item into equipment or magic tool.

He can only wait until his next trip to Makuder to give it to Brian Redbeard for forging.

Brian Redbeard has forged a heavenly stone once before, so Yang Yu believes this time he can deliver an even more satisfying result.

Next, Yang Yu picked up the skill scroll, which recorded the skill ”Holy Light Will.”

”Holy Light Will,” active skill, simple and brutal effect, for every 2% loss of maximum life value, increase Holy Light intensity by 1%, lasts 40 seconds, effect applicable only to oneself.

For pure priests, ”Holy Light Will” is hard to say a good skill.

Due to the profession’s characteristics, priests find it difficult to maintain a low blood volume.

When priests are low on blood, they’re mostly being focused, and at that time every second counts; they need to rapidly restore blood, and by the time this skill is released, other skills have already increased the blood.

Unless continuously under attack, requiring constant blood elevation, this skill can show its maximum value.

In summary, the profession most suitable for this skill is actually Holy Knights, as this skill ensures endurance while allowing a brief burst at low blood volume.

After pondering, Yang Yu decided to keep the skill scroll.

If he encounters a Holy Knight in the future, this skill scroll might be exchanged for something better.

Lastly, Yang Yu took out the light blue scepter half a foot long.

This size of scepter can be easily hung on the waist for convenient access.

Upon careful observation, Yang Yu felt the weapon is made of heavenly stone, a Holy Light weapon.

Opening the panel for identification, sure enough:

[Secret Treasure of the Elves

Guiding Scepter [Evimya]

Quality: Legendary

Description: This weapon was once used by the companions of a hero, originating from the ancient elf legacy. It once disappeared from the historical river, only to be unexpectedly obtained by Hero Lox after his strategy of an underground maze, who then gifted it to companion Mingtu Saiqi.

Equipment attributes: Intelligence +200, Intelligence +20%, MP +10%

Effect: Passive[Holy Light Amplification]—When carried by Holy Light Units, increases damage and effect of Holy Light skills by 20%

Active Skill [Dawn]—Creates a sustained shield to protect the target and restore a certain proportion of life, cooling time decreases with increased Holy Light intensity.]

It’s obvious at a glance that this weapon is a top-tier Holy Light weapon.

Not to mention the 20% passive ”Holy Light Amplification” for mere carrying, the active skill ”Dawn” is also an extremely excellent auxiliary skill.

No one knows the cooldown time for Iyas using the active skill ”Dawn,” but if it can continuously sustain, the team’s casualty rate would further reduce, creating more room for mistakes.

Yang Yu thought for a while, then directly handed the scepter to Iyas,

”This weapon is obviously tailored for priests, it’s legendary equipment, so guard it well.”

”Okay.”

As soon as she took the guiding scepter, a familiar aura came rushing at Iyas, prompting her to stroke the scepter gently.

After another search in the treasure box, not finding any keys, Yang Yu closed the box and stood up.

The guiding scepter belonged to the priest team member of hero Lox, the weapon of the last elf queen Mingtu Saiqiu, which Yang Yu had seen through giant dragon records.

With the healing array that just appeared underfoot, Yang Yu could basically infer, the person responsible for constructing this underground maze, is Mingtu Saiqiute.

Taking a deep breath, Yang Yu walked to the center of the venue and shouted at the wall:

”Queen Mingtu Saiqiute, we have successfully strategized the tenth floor.

We didn’t get the key, is it because we haven’t passed the test set by this underground maze?

If we haven’t passed the test, please let me know.

If we have passed the test, please hand me the key that Hero Lox entrusted you with.”

As soon as the words fell, the tenth floor area where Yang Yu and his companions were emitted a rumble and resumed descent.

After descending about fifty meters, a door gradually appeared below the entrance of the Ninth Floor.

The descending platform suddenly stopped, and the door on the wall slowly opened.

Yang Yu knew this was likely the key retrieval ceremony but still had his companions prepare for battle as they cautiously entered the door.

Behind the door was a long tunnel, and as they crossed the narrow tunnel, Yang Yu found himself facing an unexpectedly open space.

A simple room appeared in front of Yang Yu and his companions, complete with all sorts of furniture, neatly arranged.

In the center of the room stood a stone pillar with an open treasure box on it.

Inside the treasure box was precisely the key left behind by Hero Lox.

Surveilling the empty room, Yang Yu gestured for everyone to pause and entered alone.

Upon hearing that the guardian here was the last elf queen, Iyas curiously scanned the room, noting its distinctively elven decoration.

Unfortunately, these things weren’t real but merely illusions woven from magic power, doomed to eventually vanish like the creatures in the underground maze.

Suddenly, Iyas felt someone knock on her back.

Iyas turned around and was met with a gigantic demon head, scaring her into immediate retreat as she drew her bowstring, shouting:

”Enemy attack!”

Yang Yu had barely walked two steps away from the box before hearing Iyas’s voice, swiftly turning and drawing his sword blade.

Everyone else also readied themselves for defense.

What met their eyes was indeed a demon’s head, but its lower body was combined with a voluptuous woman in a refined priest outfit, seemingly about to pounce.

Yang Yu breathed a sigh of relief and inquired, ”Are you the person in charge of this maze, the last elf queen, Mingtu Saiqiute?”

The woman retracted her claws, gently touched the demon head above her, which dispersed into starlight, revealing a flowing mane of smooth golden hair.

”Greetings, everyone, and welcome to my humble abode. Here stands Mingtu Saiqiute, adored as the most beloved Elf Queen by all!”

Mingtu Saiqiute spread her arms wide, smiling as she spun, tracing a large heart in the sky with her finger, flamboyantly displaying a heart gesture against her chest and flirting with a wink towards the group.
