Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

To strategize the Will Hall’s Ninth Floor, first locate the red square and then push each block onto the red square.

Yang Yu asked the person in charge beside him, ”How long do we have after the red square is exposed to randomly scattered blocks,” and then inquired, ”Have you tried keeping the blocks on the red square continually? What happens?” and, ”Can blocks still be moved after colliding with each other?” among other details.

This Underground Maze definitely requires some willpower to strategize.

Every step must be taken carefully, as one wrong step could lead to a series of mistakes.

If you make a mistake, you might have to start all over again.

Without enough willpower, one might completely give up after several failures.

Looking at the scattered blocks on the board, Yang Yu quickly devised a preliminary strategy and said to the person in charge beside him:

”Mr. In-charge, could you please call over the members guarding the Underground Maze? Just a few people to guard the entrance would be fine.”

The person in charge looked at He Meng, who had turned into Chongdu, seeking instructions.

With arms crossed, He Meng ordered, ”Do as he says, and hand over the strategy entirely to him.

The strategy for these Underground Mazes is for the prosperity of our clan.”

”Yes.”

Upon hearing his superior’s request, the person in charge dared not slack and turned to climb the stairs.

Watching the person in charge leave, Yang Yu took out paper and pen, handed them to Bai Jin, and asked her to observe and record the distribution and movement trajectory of each block on the board. Meanwhile, Yang Yu used Climbing to ascend the giant block.

Ninth Floor, the board’s specs are 20x30, totaling six hundred squares, each capable of holding one block. It is roughly estimated that there are at least two hundred blocks on the board.

Not every block moves all the time; some blocks are connected, forming some terrain, dividing the board into several different regions.

Yang Yu asked Lotcar to try pushing one of the blocks that formed the terrain from various directions, but no matter how long Lotcar touched the block or how much strength was used, the block forming the terrain remained unmoved.

More than half an hour later, the Maze person in charge returned with personnel to the Ninth Floor.

These people weren’t the strategy team for the Underground Maze; they were just guards.

Even after being transformed, these guards’ average attribute rarely exceeds Six hundred, and the person in charge’s average attribute barely reaches one thousand four; they are not qualified to strategize the deep layers of the Underground Maze.

The real strategy team is now distributed along the routes expanded by the Spiny Scale Lizard, deciding to challenge the Ninth Floor after reclaiming the homeland completely.

When the strategy team strategizes the Underground Maze, these guards often assist, running back and forth.

Therefore, they had no significant aversion to Yang Yu’s impending command.

Bai Jin spent some time drawing the entire board and handed it to Yang Yu.

Except for a few blocks that moved extremely bizarrely, most blocks moved along a uniform straight path horizontally or vertically.

When blocks were about to touch the bottom, on the adjacent square, personnel was deployed to stop them, then pushed along the block’s original trajectory. Thus, apart from the two ends of the block-moving squares, which couldn’t affirm if there were red squares, it preliminarily confirmed the situation along the block movement path and examined how many red squares were along its path.

Once confirming a red square route, quickly switch to another route’s blocks, continuing to measure the remaining red squares.

After all red squares are measured, based on the distribution of red squares and the blocks’ positions, a box-pushing route could be devised.

Because it’s unknown if red squares exist in unaccountable corners, Yang Yu needs to reserve some blocks to fill corners.

Even before starting, Yang Yu’s mind was buzzing; these boxes aren’t easy to push.

Yang Yu learned from the person in charge that the Spiny Scale Lizard’s strategy team had never attempted placing boxes on squares as a strategy...

Perhaps they thought about whether simply filling all the red squares could clear the Ninth Floor, but likely realized boxes could only be pushed and not pulled back. If making a wrong move somewhere means starting all over, the workload is tremendous, leading them to abandon their attempt.

Piecing together a 3x3 nine-piece puzzle is enjoyable, but piecing together a 100x100 ten-thousand-piece puzzle is torturous; moreover, there might be a time limit.

After the earlier simple layers, the difficulty suddenly escalated; anyone would feel fear.

Thinking their idea was wrong, they might not have even brought it up.

Regardless of whether this strategy succeeds or not, Yang Yu decided to try it. He took the cloth, numbered each guard, explaining his strategy, and had them reach different locations, each prepared.

Yang Yu then led his companions, sitting on the nearest block to them.

This isn’t slacking.

Blocks can be pushed by anyone, but monsters that randomly refresh on different blocks can’t be handled by just anyone.

When monsters appear, Yang Yu and his team must swiftly eliminate them to ensure everyone’s safety until the strategy is completed.

After confirming everyone was prepared, Yang Yu issued the order, and the strategy commenced.

The Maze person in charge was the first to step in, stopping the block at the second square’s center, as planned by Yang Yu, then circled to the back of the block, pushing it from a half-square gap to the second, third square... until the second-to-last square.

As proven, apart from straining to stop, the ease of pushing the block entirely depended on the duration of pushing, unrelated to the strength used. Later, the person in charge could push the block even with one finger.

Once the first block covered its path, confirming no monsters or red squares appeared, Yang Yu instructed the person in charge to approach the next block he was responsible for and let the second person push a block. Nothing happened again, so the third person was called forth...

Repeatedly, at the sixth block, finally three fierce monsters refreshed on several blocks.

These monsters were uniformly at Hundred-level, with extremely high Strength and Speed; as soon as they appeared on the block, they attacked the person pushing the sixth block viciously.

Unfortunately, apart from Speed and Strength, these monsters’ other attributes were surprisingly poor, with maximum Blood Volume as low as three to four hundred. Usually, adventurers took only two or three strikes to kill them.

Iyas drew her bowstring, a dazzling Light Arrow pierced the sky, splitting into three in the air, simultaneously eliminating the three monsters, turning them into Gold Coins clattering to the ground.

This sudden Support and the spoils reassured the Fishman and Spiny Scale Lizard assisting Yang Yu and his team with controlling the blocks.

After briefly asking someone to collect the dropped spoils, Yang Yu instructed the block-pusher to continue their journey, checking if there were any trap squares ahead of his block.

Confirming no other trap squares, Yang Yu swiftly had the Fishman press the block onto the red square, this time without any more monsters appearing.
