Yang Yu lifted his head, and the attributes of the Green Fire Phoenix appeared before his eyes:

This Green Fire Phoenix has an intelligence as high as 6400 and 150,000 blood volume.

Could it be... was this creature also one of the Hero’s former companions?

No, Yang Yu had never seen a creature like this in Hero Lox’s party.

No matter how you think about it, a Green Fire Phoenix with such attributes couldn’t be obscure...

Could it be...

The attributes of this Phoenix are exactly the same as when strategizing the Hall of Wisdom, determined by the number and quality of people entering the board?

Yang Yu loudly shouted at the flying Green Fire Phoenix:

”Hey! Answer me, are you a companion of Hero Lox?”

The response to Yang Yu was a sharp, long cry and four Wind Blades from the Green Fire Phoenix’s flapping wings.

As the four Wind Blades advanced, they ignited in green flames, an indescribable heat rushing towards Yang Yu.

Yang Yu and Lotcar jumped left and right respectively to avoid the flame attack.

The green flames struck the wall, roaring and surging towards surrounding surfaces, stirring up a hot wave.

The attack of the Green Fire Phoenix was not over.

Orange circles appeared under the feet of Yang Yu and Lotcar, and scorching pillars of fire spewed forth from the circles.

Yang Yu and Lotcar reacted in time, avoiding the erupting fire pillars.

However, this was just the beginning.

New orange circles emerged where Yang Yu and Lotcar landed.

Pillar after pillar of fire erupted from the orange circles, each shooting up three meters high.

If not in time, one would be engulfed by the flames, taking massive damage.

With each step Yang Yu and Lotcar took, new orange circles appeared beneath them, spewing huge pillars of fire.

Yang Yu and Lotcar had no choice but to keep moving to dodge.

But as time passed, the fire pillars beneath Yang Yu and Lotcar’s feet not only did not relent, but they spewed out even faster.

In response, Yang Yu and his team could only increase their speed, but were still unable to shake off the pursuit of the fire pillars.

Looking up, the Green Fire Phoenix didn’t flap its wings even the slightest, hovering like a giant bomber above Yang Yu and his team.

Iyas clamped his legs around Lotcar’s back, cast a [True Word Blessing]on himself, leaned to the right, and drew his bowstring, aiming at the hovering Green Fire Phoenix.

The bowstring sung, and a strong wind blew on Iyas’s Light Arrow, disappearing midair and reappearing by the Green Fire Phoenix’s shoulder.

Iyas used the skills [Hunter Mark], [Gale Point Break], and [Guaranteed Hit Arrow], and a critical hit made the Green Fire Phoenix’s wing bend backward, nearly breaking.

The fire pillars under Yang Yu and Lotcar’s feet abruptly stopped.

Iyas straightened his body, drew his bowstring again, and Luo Luosi, at a close distance, granted Iyas the [Sea God’s Blessing], turning Iyas’s attack into a Water attribute.

Iyas drew his bow again, the Sharp Light Arrow slicing through the sky once more, this time using [Deadly Shot]and adding [Holy Light Explosion]. If it hits, it would deal unimaginable damage.

However, perhaps sensing a thread of danger from Iyas’s Light Arrow, the Green Fire Phoenix crossed its wings, flames pouring out from its body, forming a Flame Shield, blocking Iyas’s Light Arrow.

”Impressive. How about this move?”

With the Light Arrow deflected, Iyas did not get discouraged. Instead, he changed strategies, focused, and aimed at the shield-protected Green Fire Phoenix.

Releasing the bowstring, the Light Arrow flew towards the Green Fire Phoenix again. This Light Arrow, before the burning Flame Shield, turned into a cloud of light, passing through the flames, turning back into countless small needles, pinning the Green Fire Phoenix from all directions.

”...Water, the source of life, grant me strength, engulf the enemy before me. [Tsunami]!”

After a long chant, Bai Jin finally completed her grand magic, several large blue magic arrays unfolded behind her, interlocking with one another.

Bai Jin’s Water Magic was not as proficient as Ice Magic or Fire Magic, costing her more time to prepare.

And the time spent preparing was worth it.

Several magic arrays entangled completely, sank to the ground, and a giant wave thirty meters high rose from behind Bai Jin, surging towards the Green Fire Phoenix.

If the Fire Attribute were overwhelmingly strong enough, it might have evaporated Bai Jin’s Water Magic to steam, but the firebird compared to Bai Jin lacked equipment like Bai Jin’s, the firepower ultimately a tier below.

Maintaining the posture of wings embracing, holding up the Flame Shield, the Green Fire Phoenix was slammed by the massive wave Bai Jin summoned, disabling the Flame Shield.

Luo Luosi let go of his Shell, enlarging it several times to protect Lotcar. Lotcar lowered his center of gravity to avoid being swept away by Bai Jin’s released wave.

Meanwhile, Yang Yu used the [Water Wave Walking Technique], stepping on the giant wave Bai Jin conjured, leaping towards the wall where the Green Fire Phoenix was slammed.

Activating [Climbing], Yang Yu stuck to the wall, to avoid being washed down by the wave.

As the wave passed, orange light flashed on Yang Yu’s Sword Blade, he sprang up, attacking the Green Fire Phoenix still stuck to the wall.

But before Yang Yu could get close to the Green Fire Phoenix, countless flames erupted from the Green Fire Phoenix, enveloping it entirely in a massive green flame.

The green flames burned incessantly, the Green Fire Phoenix inside the flames began to transform, its entire body sprouting feathers like silver armor, and a second pair of green flaming wings grew from its back, the flames becoming even hotter.

Bai Jin’s Water Magic had not yet turned back into magic power in the air, but was already thoroughly dried out by the flames of the Green Fire Phoenix.

The Green Fire Phoenix entered the Second-stage form.

It wasn’t over, the Green Fire Phoenix screeched, another pair of wings burst from its back, its mouth grew long sharp teeth, and its neck became longer.

The changes in the Green Fire Phoenix also showed on the panel, its attributes increased by 10% on the first transformation, and another 20% on the second, its title changing from Olote Balat to Olote Balat (Second-stage form), then to Olote Balat (Third-stage Form).

This Green Fire Phoenix actually went straight to the Third-stage Form at the start.

Yang Yu looked dumbfounded, starting off in the third stage, is even the maze boss so afraid of death?
