Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

He Meng’s rough skin and thick flesh made Chongdu’s kick not only fail to take away much of He Meng’s blood, but he also almost slipped and fell due to He Meng’s semi-gelatinous body.

Stabilizing himself with a knife against the ground, Chongdu angrily kicked He Meng down the stairs behind him.

He Meng, still in a daze, stumbled and tumbled down the stairs, step by step.

When He Meng came to, she saw the ticket inspector cowering in the corner of the stairs, trembling.

The unfortunate ticket inspector barely regained his life; he had brought people to the viewing area, as Chongdu had hoped, which was also what the Captain had hoped for.

According to the usual pattern, the Guardian Team on the submarine would quickly deal with the intruders.

But this time, the ticket inspector didn’t think anyone on the ship could handle these intruders.

The strength of these intruders was completely different from those who had previously invaded the submarine, and there was that bizarre poison...

If this continues, the entire submarine will definitely be hijacked by them.

Chongdu promised to spare the ticket inspector, but the ticket inspector knew it was only temporary.

He couldn’t forget the sinister smile Chongdu wore when he walked up the stairs, saying he was very interested in the wristbands, clearly hinting that if they succeeded, they would take him along as well.

This was the real reason the intruders spared his life.

If the submarine fell into their hands, what kind of fate would he face?

During this time left behind, the ticket inspector kept pondering this question, making some hard-to-accept yet reasonable assumptions.

Perhaps, he would become an accomplice in the Spiny Scale Lizard’s expansion, or perhaps, he would become their slave...

Regardless, the path ahead only led to death.

Trying to escape now is impossible.

To lure them into a trap, the Captain had completely sealed the iron doors leading to the viewing area.

Now there are only two outcomes: either the Guardian Team can stop them, or the Captain hands over the submarine completely.

Based on what he knew of the Captain, the ticket inspector was certain the Captain would neither hand over the ship nor himself, nor willingly enter the dangerous viewing area.

The intruders would definitely kill all the guards and then force the Captain to surrender the submarine.

”It’s over, it’s all over.”

The ticket inspector held his head, despairingly muttering to himself, completely unaware of the little slime in front of him.

As the ticket inspector thought, with the Spiny Scale Lizard joining in, the situation had entirely turned in favor of the intruders.

Chongdu lifted his knife and easily killed a guard, injecting poison into the guard’s corpse and using it as a weapon, throwing it into the crowd.

A guard, unable to dodge in time, had his arm crushed; poison sprayed from the greenish corpse, inevitably making contact with his skin. In no time, the fallen guard’s body convulsed, painfully spewing foam, with his skin showing signs of ulceration.

The Guard Captain’s face was ashen; the situation was beyond salvage, and any struggle was just stalling for time.

Should they surrender now? The Guard Captain hesitated, unable to decide.

At that moment, someone in the ranks collapsed emotionally, kneeling to the ground in desperation, raising their hands in surrender to Chongdu.

Chongdu ignored the surrender and swung his blade, cutting down the surrendering guard in a pool of blood.

A spark of survival was brutally extinguished.

Looking at the remaining eleven members of the Guardian Team, the Guard Captain was filled with resentment, his nails digging into his palm, knowing that their only option now was to resist to the end.

If they’d known it would come to this, perhaps they should have recruited some skilled people from the start to resist the intruders together.

The Guard Captain gritted his teeth and ordered to continue the defensive attack.

Chongdu, without hesitation, raised his broadsword, slashing towards the Guard Captain.

Just then, a series of lightweight footsteps sounded, and a shield was brought up in front of the Guard Captain, blocking the blow for him.

The person appeared ordinary, but wielded a shield like shattered ice and a very sharp sword, with two conspicuous wristbands on their wrists.

The Guard Captain knew this person was definitely not from their team but a passenger who emerged from the dining area.

The newcomer was none other than Yang Yu.

Wearing the wristbands to face the enemy was also not out of choice for Yang Yu. The staff he sent to find the Captain had vanished as if into thin air.

With He Meng out of commission and the situation critical, Yang Yu didn’t have time to kick down the Captain’s cabin door himself, so he had to draw his sword and shield to engage.

Unable to use skills and facing so many enemies, this battle was destined to be tough and extremely dangerous.

But they couldn’t wait any longer.

If they delayed any more, there would be no one left alive in the Guardian Team.

If the intruders entered the dining area, the narrow environment would also be disadvantageous for Yang Yu.

If, by any chance, the intruders decided to leave no survivors, stopping them would be unimaginably difficult.

Before leaving, Yang Yu had Lotcar find another informed staff member, using threats and bribes to lead Lotcar to the hidden door.

Yang Yu instructed that this time, Lotcar should break down the door if necessary to drag the Captain out from the Captain’s cabin, to remove Bai Jin and the others’ wristbands, giving them a fighting chance.

Before Lotcar could respond, Yang Yu finished the instructions and rushed out, saving the Guard Captain at a critical moment.

Chongdu swung his broadsword again, smashing toward Yang Yu fiercely:

”I really didn’t expect anyone to dare come out.”

Yang Yu used the shield like fractured ice to catch Chongdu’s attacks repeatedly, and said to the Guard Captain behind him:

”Retreat a little, their attacks could reach you.

I’m just here to help you, but I’m not risking my life to save you.

Our relationship isn’t that deep yet.

Take care of yourselves.”

After briefly stating this, Yang Yu made a feint to retreat, and the Guard Captain quickly followed Yang Yu’s moves to retreat as well.

Yang Yu only made a feint, using the shield again to catch Chongdu’s attack.

While intercepting Chongdu’s attack, Yang Yu also observed the actions of everyone in the field.

Seeing a Spiny Scale Lizard assaulting another guard, he dodged Chongdu’s attack, ran to the Spiny Scale Lizard, used his shield to catch the Lizard’s attack, and conveniently dispatched an unhealthy Blood Volume Fishman.

At that moment, a spur came flying toward Yang Yu from somewhere. Yang Yu drew his sword and slashed, splitting the Poison Stinger in two, then quickly jumped back to guard against any mechanisms in the Poison Stinger.

Having just dodged the Poison Stinger, two Fishmen emerged from behind him, using a bizarre intertwined footwork, trying to pin Yang Yu to the ground.

Yang Yu took a deep breath, having long seen through their moves, the sword blade danced in the air, knocking the attacking Fishmen to the ground.
