The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1635: Chapter 1635: Too Late to Realize Now

Felice Owen didn’t feel like listening to him finish, furrowed her brows, took out her phone, and said: ”I’ll call Ruth first.”

Nathalie Quinlan wouldn’t cooperate with her, so she needed to check with her agent on what to do now.

Felice Owen had just pulled out her phone.

The word ’agent’ was already flashing on the phone screen.

Felice Owen quickly moved aside to answer the call: ”Hello, Ruth.”

When speaking with Emaline Bailey, she was exceedingly cautious, not daring to show the slightest negligence.

Emaline Bailey was not so polite: ”What do you mean by the text message you just sent me? Nathalie Quinlan? Where did you run into her?”

Emaline Bailey had just finished shooting a commercial with a currently popular male celebrity, and phones weren’t allowed on set, so she hadn’t seen Felice Owen’s message right away.

Once she finished and saw the name in the message Felice Owen sent her, Emaline Bailey didn’t even bother with following up. She immediately left the remaining tasks to an assistant and called Felice Owen outside.

”Felice Owen, let me tell you, don’t provoke her. Be polite when you run into her; it’s okay to appease her. Just remember, don’t make an enemy out of her!”

Felice Owen was completely stunned, glancing up at the back of the girl who had already walked away, biting her lip: ”It’s too late, Ruth. I...”

She recounted the incident from the variety show to Emaline Bailey and concluded by mentioning her attempt to get Nathalie Quinlan to issue a clarifying statement on Twitter...

After hearing her blunders, Emaline Bailey’s mind was buzzing.

She couldn’t believe Felice Owen had done something so foolish!

Her voice was hoarse, taking a long moment before she could speak: ”Haven’t I told you countless times to curb your temper outside, don’t cause trouble, and never offend anyone? Why would you do such a thing?”

”I didn’t expect she wouldn’t cooperate and issue a clarifying statement. I asked Melvin to investigate; she’s just a student, and a student is manageable.” Felice Owen still hadn’t realized what she had done wrong, unaware of the gravity of the situation: ”Ruth, what should I do now? I haven’t been online yet, but I can guess that Twitter will definitely be aiming at me. And those annoying PR accounts will surely latch onto this! Things like this are bad for my reputation...”

”Hmph.” Emaline Bailey chuckled bitterly at her innocence: ”At this point, you’re still concerned about the public opinion on Twitter.”

Felice Owen was completely perplexed, not responding.

She didn’t understand what Emaline Bailey meant.

As a star, encountering such a situation, wasn’t the most important thing the public opinion on Twitter aiming at her? Could there be anything more important than resolving this wave of criticism?

Emaline Bailey stood outside the ad shoot location, too agitated to speak for a while, contemplating how to respond.

Her phone had already received a notification from Starlight Entertainment’s artist department.

Felice Owen had been suspended.

Starlight Entertainment had already issued an apology and suspension statement for Felice Owen on Twitter.

Simultaneously, the company also sanctioned her.

The reason given was poor management of her artists, resulting in a two-year suspension.

In an entertainment industry always updating and evolving, giving a top agent a two-year break is equivalent to forcing them to retire from the entertainment circle.

Emaline Bailey staggered, nearly falling, and when she finally steadied herself against the wall, she could still hear Felice Owen calling her from the other end of the line.
