The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1098: Chapter 1098: Nathalie Quinlan Again!

At the same time, in Rivendell.

Caryn Zachmann hung up the phone from the department, her eyes darkened a bit, somewhat cold, and her complexion wasn’t good.

The friend beside her noticed her poor complexion and asked her quietly, ”Caryn, what’s wrong? Whose call was it just now?”

Caryn Zachmann shook her head, forced a smile, and brushed it off, ”Nothing, just a call from the school.”

”Oh.” Hearing it was about the school, the friend didn’t ask further and turned to continue singing with the others.

Caryn Zachmann sat alone in a corner of the private room, feeling uncomfortable.

She sat for a few minutes, then took out her phone to check Sadam Vinson’s WhatsApp. She had messaged him yesterday to ask him out, and still, there was no reply from Sadam Vinson!

It was quite a face slap.

At least before Nathalie Quinlan came to Beijing, Sadam Vinson never treated her this way, so indifferent.

She sat there for a moment, unable to suppress the discomfort in her heart. She got up, took her phone, and walked out, telling the usual group around her, ”You guys keep playing, I’m going out for some fresh air.”

Her sudden standing and leaving made everyone glance at each other, confused about what was wrong with her. After exchanging glances, they decided to ignore it and continued with their activities...

*

Outside the private room.

Caryn Zachmann left the private room and finally breathed in some fresh air. She first walked through the corridor to the restroom and splashed some cold water on her hands.

After calming down a bit, she found a corner and took out her phone again.

While browsing through the communication records, she caught sight of a message from Chloe Bailey, which was similar to what Adelle Wafford had just told her over the phone about the conflict between the two departments at Sea View Pavilion.

However, Chloe Bailey’s words were more straightforward and harsh.

She directly mentioned in the message that people from the Clinical Department went to Sea View Pavilion’s manager to reason with them and even brought up her name.

But the manager at Sea View Pavilion didn’t care at all and still insisted on giving the private room to the Chinese Medicine Department, almost bluntly saying that her influence was ineffective.

Caryn Zachmann’s eyes darkened as she stared at the last part of Chloe Bailey’s message saying ’brought up her name, but the manager didn’t give any face,’ her lips pursed tightly, her complexion worsening.

Nathalie Quinlan!

It was Nathalie Quinlan again!

The hand holding the phone tightened, clutching so hard that her knuckles turned white, without even realizing how angry she was.

Just now, on the phone, Adelle Wafford had told her that the Chinese Medicine Department was meeting this time to discuss the commencement ceremony.

She hidden the coldness in her eyes, lowered her head, leaned on the corridor wall of Rivendell, her face gloomy, and made a call to Audrick Zachmann’s agent.

The call connected instantly.

”Ms. Zachmann, what’s the matter? Are you looking for Audrick? He’s currently shooting an advertisement, you might need to wait a bit...”

The agent hadn’t finished speaking when Caryn Zachmann impatiently interrupted, ”I’m looking for you.”

”Looking for me?” The agent was a bit confused.

Caryn Zachmann got straight to the point, with a very arrogant attitude: ”About that thing I mentioned to you before, the tune is set. I want to use Lighten Chaser’s ’Nirvana,’ please let my brother know.”

”Uh...”

Lighten Chaser’s ’Nirvana’?!

Audrick Zachmann’s agent’s first reaction was a bit bewildered, as initially, Caryn Zachmann demanded Audrick take part in Tsinghua University’s commencement ceremony, the company wasn’t quite supportive.

Audrick himself is extremely popular, being a top star in the circle, his daily schedule is packed, leaving no free time at all.
