The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1060: Chapter 1060: I know someone from the IT association, I can ask for their help

Nathalie Quinlan recounted to him briefly what she had told Sadam Vinson.

It was about the chip competition.

After listening, Wallace Radcliff’s brows twisted, and he immediately said, ”So that’s what happened.”

He lifted his head, got up to take out his phone, and said to Nathalie Quinlan, ”I know Mr. John from the IT Association; I can ask him for help with this matter.”

However, from Ms. Quinlan’s account, Cubicle Group seemed to have backing, and with the involvement of the Red Alliance, he wasn’t sure if his influence would be sufficient.

But whether it was enough or not, he had to try.

Wallace Radcliff walked aside, ready to make the phone call.

Nathalie Quinlan stopped him, her voice hoarse as if she hadn’t slept well, ”No need, I’ve already resolved the matter.”

”Resolved?” Wallace Radcliff was stunned and looked towards Sadam Vinson unclearly, his face full of confusion.

He didn’t dare to look at Amadeus Yancey, mainly because he didn’t want to provoke Amadeus.

Sadam Vinson was even more bewildered than him and responded with a shrug, as if to say ’you think I’d be of any help’.

He had no idea that Nathalie Quinlan had already settled the matter.

When he ran into Nathalie Quinlan at the top-floor banquet, she only mentioned the issue to him. There was no time to ask for details before Amadeus dragged them to Nathalie’s room.

He was completely in the dark now, knowing nothing!

Sadam Vinson felt particularly frustrated because this time he really was clueless, and upon hearing Nathalie Quinlan say ’the matter is already resolved’, his reaction was the same as Mario Cagwin’s—they were both utterly lost, having no clue how Nathalie Quinlan managed to resolve it!

Outside corridor 3306.

Another person just as restless had left the room and was on the phone.

”Didn’t you tell me that the freshman from McKinney was just from a normal background and didn’t have any influential connections? Do you know that because of you, I’ve lost face big time, and even the principal is unhappy now?”

Stella Iversen remembered how she was ostracized by the other professors who came along, when they were in Jackson Wafford’s suite, and felt a suffocating frustration looking for an outlet.

While Jackson Wafford and the other professors discussed matters related to their return home, she felt ignored whenever she spoke. It became unbearable, so she excused herself.

Claiming she needed some fresh air was really just an excuse to escape so she wouldn’t embarrass herself further.

”What happened? What’s the matter?”

Hearing Adelle Wafford’s indifferent tone asking her made Stella Iversen somewhat angry and ashamed: ”Isn’t it all because you told me that the Chinese Medicine freshman was disrespectful to her teachers, lacked character, was arrogant and loved to boast about herself? Why didn’t you tell me she also knew people in the IT field?”

There was a silence on the other end of the phone as Adelle Wafford was clearly just as surprised, hearing about this for the first time: ”Are you saying Nathalie Quinlan knows people in IT? Who does she know?”

Angrily, Stella Iversen recounted everything that had happened since she got off the airplane. Finishing her tale with a rather unpleased tone, she asked, ”What is the deal with this Nathalie Quinlan? She doesn’t seem like an ordinary student. The people surrounding her, I can’t make out their backgrounds. Even Mr. Wafford’s attitude towards her isn’t what you described as being deceived by her appearance. This freshman really has some abilities!”

She hit the nail on the head.

”Don’t tell me you’re biased against her because she chose Chinese Medicine instead of your Clinical Medicine department?”

On the end of the phone line, Adelle Wafford almost immediately denied it: ”How could that be possible.”

”Then why is everything you told me about her completely different from what I’ve seen?”

This time, Stella Iversen took a big fall and lost a lot of face.
