The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 850: Chapter 850: Has the Arrangement Been Submitted?

Sullivan Family.

Ivy Wilmar was looking at the comments on the hot search, and seeing that the online world was full of scolding, she felt incredibly cheerful. She brushed her hair and just as she raised her eyes, she saw Ghania Quinlan coming downstairs and smilingly waved her hand, ”Ghania, come here quick, I have some good news to tell you.”

Ghania Quinlan walked down the stairs and stood in front of her, soft and gentle, and seeing the phone on her table, she already knew what the ”good news” was about.

Still, she asked obediently, ”Auntie, what is it?”

”Good news!” Ivy Wilmar couldn’t help but smile brightly, clearly in a marvelous mood, ”Do you know Nathalie Quinlan took the college entrance exam this year?”

Ghania’s eyebrows twitched slightly, showing no particular expression, and she spoke in a delicate voice, ”I know. She... actually didn’t need to take the college entrance exam, she had already been admitted to Tsinghua University.”

She paused for a moment, then added in what seemed to be an offhand manner, ”Maybe it was for showing off, wanting to score high on it too.”

”Ts,” Ivy Wilmar laughed, her brows relaxed even further, and said with ambiguous meaning, ”She did score ’high’—ridiculously high!”

Ghania looked at her with a feigned ’misunderstanding’.

Ivy Wilmar covered the corner of her mouth, her brows lifted with vindicated pride as she explained, ”She scored zero.”

”My sister scored zero, that’s impossible, right?”

Hearing her blurt out ’sister’, Ivy Wilmar’s heart felt an unpleasant pang of annoyance, but it was quickly washed away by her joyful feelings, and she smiled slightly, ”What’s impossible about that? It’s all over the internet, her exam registration number is right there, not just one person has checked it, zero in all subjects. Clean and neat, so spectacular! Now many people are running to the Tsinghua University official website demanding an explanation, after all, for someone from their school who was top in the joint exam to not even reach the undergraduate line in the college entrance exam is a bit hard to justify.”

Ghania hid the pleasure beneath her lashes, lowered her head, and spoke softly in defense of Nathalie, ”Maybe she didn’t take it seriously... The college entrance exam is so important, since she decided to take it she should have done well, scoring zero is a bit too much. I wonder what Tsinghua University will say.”

”What can they say?”

Ivy Wilmar took her time to interject, ”These days, public opinion is supreme. With such results, her connections are useless!”

What of Nathalie Quinlan having Amadeus Yancey’s support, if even he couldn’t manage the public opinion? A single spit from everyone could force Tsinghua University into isolation.

She was eager to see who would protect Nathalie Quinlan this time!

Ivy Wilmar was in a good mood, everyone looked pleasing to her eyes, even her husband’s niece appeared more likeable. She picked up her water cup, had a sip, and, placing the cup back on the table with a clink, asked her, ”Speaking of which, did you submit the composition that Master Steven asked for?”

”I submitted it,” Ghania tightened her fingers, looking somewhat uneasy.

The initial compositions she had submitted, the teacher wasn’t satisfied with. Foreigners are passionate and frank in nature, and they are straightforward in their speech.

Master Steven made it very clear to her that the compositions she submitted were terribly poor!

The style of her compositions had no novelty, the tunes were monotonous and uninspired, and far from the amazing impression that her award-winning compositions had made.

Master Steven had been pushing her to come up with something new, and having no choice, Ghania had stayed up several nights, when she thought of someone—Lighten Chaser!

She had analyzed the composition Nathalie Quinlan had revised for her, and it was very similar to Lighten Chaser’s style, except Lighten Chaser’s compositions had more distinctive personalities.

So, she incorporated some segments from Lighten Chaser’s previous compositions into her new composition, a tactic that Caryn Zachmann had also used, so she didn’t feel too guilty about it. Her only worry was one thing: she feared the teacher wouldn’t be satisfied.
