The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 848: Chapter 848: Among the group, only she failed the exam

Kelly Giovanni thought of her grandmother, covered her mouth, and finally couldn’t control her emotions, sitting in the library and sobbing loudly.

She cried for a full half-hour, with people passing by looking at her, but she couldn’t manage nor did she want to manage her appearance.

She cried until she had no voice left, unable to cry anymore.

She wiped her tears, her eyes swollen and red, thought of someone, pulled out her phone, and was just about to check.

Then she saw a message sent by a classmate.

[Sylvia Cadwell: Did you check your score? The class teacher just called me, said I scored 553 points, I can make it into a second-tier university with this score, just depends on this year’s cutoff for first-tier universities. What about you, did she call you?]

Kelly Giovanni saw her message, her vision went dark as if someone had punched her hard in the chest, she clutched at her collar, taking a long time to recover her senses.

Sylvia Cadwell, she, and Jane Bailey were initially best friends with Ghania Quinlan. Later, after Jane Bailey got into trouble for intentional injury and was jailed, it became just her and Sylvia Cadwell hanging out with Ghania. After the incident with Wenny Taylor, Sylvia Cadwell and her group distanced themselves from Ghania, even telling her to avoid getting too close to Ghania, saying from Wenny’s incident it was apparent Ghania was hypocritical and didn’t consider them true friends...

At that time, she didn’t respond to Sylvia Cadwell, thinking Sylvia was just acting like a typical Second Generation Rich, and Ghania was kind and gentle; it wasn’t all Ghania’s fault regarding what happened with Wenny.

Wenny herself was not clean either.

Later, Sylvia Cadwell never brought up Ghania again, pulling everyone together every day to study, burying heads in reviews, preparing for the college entrance exam.

She didn’t take it seriously, Sylvia’s grades were never as good as hers, so what good would last-minute hard work do, but who knew Sylvia would score 553 points this time?

Kelly Giovanni’s face flushed hot, feeling uncomfortable, along with regret she didn’t want to admit.

She clenched her phone tightly.

The next message came.

[Sylvia Cadwell: Oh, have you seen the school forum? Nathalie Quinlan’s results are out, so unexpected.]

Kelly Giovanni had cried too hard, now with swollen, red eyes and tight, dry skin, she tugged at the corners of her mouth without expression, thinking the other was about to boast about how well Nathalie scored, she was just about to put down the phone.

The next second.

[Sylvia Cadwell: I thought she would score at least 700 points; I heard Freddy Cagwin in their class scored 713 points, Nathalie should have scored at least 713 or more, but to find out she scored zero in all subjects, that’s just absurd!]

Nathalie Quinlan scored zero in all subjects?

Kelly Giovanni stared at the message on her phone in shock, thinking she had read it wrong, she rubbed her eyes and looked again, it still read 0 points.

It was like catching a ray of light in the gloom, a huge surprise flashing in her eyes, barely able to contain her excitement, she hurried to search for the school forum Sylvia mentioned.

Nathalie scoring zero was big news to the entire No. 1 Middle School at McKinney.

The post was pinned at the top, no need to scroll down, as soon as she entered the forum, she could see it.

Kelly Giovanni clicked on the post, saw the backstage screenshot, and suddenly laughed out loud.

”Ha!”

It really was 0 points.

Her mood cleared considerably.

This feeling was as if you thought you were unlucky, but seeing someone you disliked being even unluckier, suddenly you weren’t so depressed anymore.

She instantly pushed aside the thought of her own college entrance exam disaster of scoring 480 points, eager to call Ghania.

”Hey, Ghania, got some good news...”

In Beijing, Shawn Norton and the principal of Tsinghua University, Jackson Wafford, were also checking scores.

They had insider channels to check faster.

”How is it? How much did Nathalie score?”
