Seizing the BOSS Template at the Start

Chapter 142: Chapter 102: Promotion Quest_2

Place the Solar Energy Collection Core on the assembly line and have Or guard it. This device needs to be continuously exposed to sunlight to charge and slowly extract solar energy from the sunlight.

It’s very similar to the solar panels on Blue Star, but completely different. The principle of solar panels is to convert thermal energy into electrical energy.

However, the Solar Energy Collection Core directly extracts solar energy from sunlight and converts it into a high-tier liquid energy similar to solar flame.

Simply put, the Collection Core is more advanced than a solar panel.

Leaving behind some containers for storing solar energy, and giving Luoning a card worth ten thousand Contribution Points to help pay salaries and maintain the shop, Baiyi returned to the laboratory to continue creating.

Time flew by quickly, and when players went offline, the magic fluctuations around Baiyi flickered slightly.

[You leveled up, your Level has reached 46.]

Baiyi paused for a moment, tossing a large Soul Crystal into his mouth, savoring the taste, and continued creating miniature machinery.

Meanwhile, the forum was filled with melancholy, as one hundred and fifty thousand players began to flood it, expressing their sentiments.

In just two short months, they had already fallen in love with this game, or rather, with the Xiya Continent.

Magic, Technology, Martial Power, regardless of the player’s profession, they saw things in this game that they couldn’t find on Blue Star.

It was a kind of atmosphere where social realities played a minor part, and everything depended almost entirely on personal ability.

In this atmosphere, there were many poignant things worth reflecting on, such as the goodness and evil of human nature, the helplessness of peasants, the extravagance of nobles, and the transcendence of professionals.

They lamented and anticipated, silently watching the countdown.

Another peaceful half-month passed, and Baiyi’s spiritual fluctuations skyrocketed again.

[You have created a Gold-devouring Insect ×1, Experience Value +1, Extra Experience Value +1.]

[You leveled up, your Level has reached 47.]

With no players, information from the other two Federations was inaccessible, but the Dawn Federation remained calm.

The only notable mention was the emergence of the sixth SS-level genius in Dawn.

Diane Di Feng.

This news rocked the entire Federation; the third generation of the Di Feng Family had only one son and one daughter, both of whom were SS-level potential super geniuses.

For a time, all eyes focused on the Di Feng Clan.

Some even suggested in the council that the Di Feng’s second generation, meaning Diane’s parents, should produce more children to see the result.

But they were scolded by the Di Feng patriarch.

However, when the patriarch returned home, he called his son and daughter-in-law to the study for a long talk. Since that day, the second generation of Di Feng started sleeping at eight o’clock, which had some profound implications.

Other news was also positive; for example, many from the third generation of Legislator Clans broke through to the Gold tier, and the Federation seemed full of vitality.

Apart from some initial curiosity about the disappearance of those Marvels, no one cared about their movements.

Baiyi continued to grind, enhancing combat power, farming experience, and leveling up.

Time continued passing swiftly, and by June, Baiyi had reached Level 49; the Storm Legion was taking shape, the count of Magnetic Mechanisms had surpassed seven hundred thousand, Gold-devouring Insects were over three billion, and the Mechanical Mosquitoes numbered a thousand.

The number of Magnetic Mechanisms was more or less sufficient; currently, they could combine to form a gigantic humanoid machine seventy meters tall.

The remaining task was just to keep supplementing micron-sized Gold-devouring Insects, while the other two were good to stop manufacturing.

The reason Baiyi halted further creation was simple.

The players went offline in March, and now it’s June, they were supposed to return by now.

But AI Zero hadn’t given any prompts.

He opened the forum, looked at the public test countdown, and fell silent: 47 days, 13 hours, 28 minutes remaining...

Indeed....

The game transitioned from version 1.0 to 3.0 when Baiyi entered; 30 years had passed in-game time, but on Blue Star, it was only 2 years.

The flow of time differed between the two worlds; only when players descended seemed to synchronize the time flow rates.

Baiyi closed the forum and continued creating Gold-devouring Insects, now a point-farming machine, reluctant to leave the laboratory until something big happened.

But soon he changed his mind when July came. Baiyi glanced at his panel in a trance.

[You have created a Gold-devouring Insect ×1, Experience Value +1, Extra Experience Value +1.]

[You leveled up, Level reached 50.]

[You reached Level 50, triggering a task.]

[Task: Path of the Strong.

Attributes: Ascension task.

Task Description: The ascension of an Alchemist is the accumulation of knowledge, and also the transmutation of magic power and spirit. Alchemists always seek their own paths, trying to innovate, hoping to enter the Golden Tier this way.

But as an Alchemy Demon, you don’t need to pursue enlightenment for your spirit and power to transform.

Days you spent in reclusion are days when ancient kingdoms gradually reestablish outside.

Pleasure destroy them, at least allow one kingdom of the Ancient Gods to vanish from Xiya Continent.

Task Reward: Alchemy Transformation Energy ×1, attribute points +20, skill points +10.

Failure Penalty: Ascension to Gold fails, Level drops to 49.

Introduction: The path of the strong is always full of hardships and incredible solitude. You’ve finally reached the steps into the ranks of the strong; stride over this step to begin the journey of the strong.]

Baiyi paused, then smiled; players have ascension tasks when advancing in Grand Tier, and NPCs also have their thresholds.

Take Mosen, stuck at Level 50 for three to four years without progress, unable to grasp his War Intent.

He was worried that, like other Alchemists, he would have to create new high-tier Alchemical Creations continually, repeatedly tempering his magic and spirit, hoping for nearly invisible success.

Or require a vast amount of experience to impact the Golden Level; he even saved over 1,300,000 extra experience points, waiting for Level 50.

Now that the task appeared, everything seemed simple: complete the task, and the golden energy needed by the Alchemist appears. It’s nice and convenient.

As for annihilating kingdoms.... should be no issue.

Baiyi glanced at his attributes, took out the Abyss Monarch’s corpse from the Mutated Zone, it was time to boost the Dark Side again.

After all, he was an acting City Lord!
