Chapter 120: Chapter 92: Giant Dragon’s Treasure 3

Flowers of the Other Shore: [I don’t know, but let’s be careful. Recently, there’s been something off about player tasks.]

Feng Chen: [I’ve noticed too, but we’re 30 kilometers from Dongwu City. If we can’t find anything, we can check if any monsters have respawned.]

Flowers of the Other Shore: [Alright, the difficulty of this game is really high. If it weren’t for the fact that wild monsters show health bars, I’d think it’s the real world.]

Feng Chen: [Indeed, I wonder when the public beta will be. I have a feeling this game might enter the World Championships.]

Flowers of the Other Shore: [World Championships might be tough, but maybe the regional leagues are possible, since we can’t go to other Federations.]

Feng Chen noticed something and signaled: [Three o’clock direction, something’s up.]

Flowers of the Other Shore paused, then instantly crouched down, carefully looking towards the right-front direction. The space there seemed to turn into a pool of water, with ripples constantly spreading.

The two exchanged a look and cautiously approached.

When they got near the rippling space, nothing happened. They exchanged another look, and Feng Chen was the first to reach out cautiously to touch the illusory space.

He felt nothing, and his hand just disappeared into the illusion.

Unable to suppress his curiosity any longer, Feng Chen slowly walked in.

Feng Chen: [Whoa! We’re in luck! Get in here quickly!]

Without further hesitation, Flowers of the Other Shore followed in, and what unfolded before them gave them a massive shock.

It was a huge cavern filled with treasures—white, yellow, and multicolored, filling their entire view.

There were silver veins glowing with flowing light, stacks of glittering Gold Coins, Luminous Pearls the size of heads, and equipment they couldn’t even identify. It all screamed to them that they’d hit the jackpot!

The two exchanged glances, hesitating, because it really seemed like a trap. Otherwise, why didn’t the NPC giving the quest come?

Feng Chen: [What should we do? Should we make a move?]

Flowers of the Other Shore thought for a moment and asked: [What equipment did you bring?]

Feng Chen: [Just the axe at my waist and the Shining Spark, that’s it.]

Flowers of the Other Shore: [Then you go out. I just have a dagger, not afraid of getting blown up. We’ll split the gains fifty-fifty. If there’s no danger, come back in.]

Without further ado, Feng Chen decisively turned around and left the space.

Flowers of the Other Shore swallowed, looked around, and finally set his eyes on a dagger, an axe, and some necklaces.

Typically, as long as you touch treasures with restrictions, only then will attacks occur. So if there’s danger, grabbing these and running seems the best option.

Taking two deep breaths, he reached out, grabbing the axe with one hand and the dagger and jewels with the other.

At that moment, a lifeless panel finally made a sound.

[You’ve touched the treasures of the Dragon Lord. Your favorability with the dragon drops to hatred, and you’ve been marked by the dragon’s aura.]

”Whoa!”

Flowers of the Other Shore’s expression changed, and he swore before decisively racing out of the so-called Secret Realm with the items.

As he passed by Feng Chen, he shouted loudly: ”It’s a trap! That was a dragon’s lair, run fast!”

He also frantically sent messages to the Guard Brigade and Demacia, explaining the situation.

They couldn’t stay here. Thirty kilometers, who knows if they could make it out.

Meanwhile.

The Guard Brigade and Demacia, who were still sorting through NPC information, were stunned.

Looking at the message bombardment from Feng Chen and Flowers of the Other Shore, they were momentarily dumbfounded.

”A dragon?” Demacia exclaimed suddenly: ”Whoa! A dragon?”

The Guard Brigade was much calmer. He took out his phone to start dialing: ”Don’t panic, I have Baiyi’s number. Let me try calling.”

”Whoa, Flowers of the Other Shore got some Question Mark Level weapons and over a dozen Question Mark Level accessories!” Demacia shouted as he looked at the photos: ”At least Silver, stuff collected by a dragon, maybe even Golden Equipment!”

”Whoa, did they really strike it lucky?”

Guard Brigade:.....

”Whoa, they can’t die! If they do, how are we supposed to divide the loot?”

While waiting for Baiyi to pick up, he kept mumbling: ”Pick up, please, pick up.”

”Whoa, it seems like there’s a countdown on their side. Whoa, a Golden Middle Tier dragon! Can Baiyi hold it off?”

”Stop making noise, it’s connecting, it’s connecting!”
