Chapter 83: Chapter 77: Mechanical Giant Dragon_3

The hollow abdominal cavity was filled with machinery, with massive scales rising and falling as if breathing. One could see a few cold gun barrels inside, and the limbs regained their fullness, accentuated by the machinery.

The head, covered in metal, had a pair of scarlet flames flickering in the eye sockets, exuding an overwhelming sense of pressure.

Its wings were fitted with magic energy propulsion at the rear, and the front was equipped with extremely sharp steel material. The entire body was made of the same alloy as Silver Barrett, with incredibly high hardness and resilience.

The abdomen housed various grenade launchers, while the mouth was transformed into an energy-breath device, using as much as five kilograms of mithril. The dragon’s blazing breath, released from there, would be greatly amplified in power by the machinery.

Along with various firearms and poison-releasing devices, the current Mechanical Bone Dragon represented the limit of his alchemy level. He even used all his skill points to achieve this modification. Before reaching the Golden level, Baiyi could not further enhance this dragon.

However, the Bone Dragon’s combat power had significantly increased, almost turning into a war machine, with modification costs as high as seven million gold coins in materials.

This modification’s extra experience points were enough to level up once more, thoroughly reaching the Silver Upper Tier.

But Baiyi wasn’t in a hurry; if he advanced directly now, Black Night Rose wouldn’t be able to sit still.

An eighteen-year-old Silver Upper Tier Alchemist with potential to reach SSS-level had a great chance of achieving legendary status.

The entire Federation had only a few with such potential, and they were all diligently cultivating in the Capital City.

If he were to expose this potential, then the concept of the Black Night Rose must emerge under the sunlight. Although it would prematurely start the plot, he would gain legendary attention and even protection.

With the current Mechanical Bone Dragon, Baiyi was not afraid of a Golden Lower Tier existence, and could barely go one-on-one with a Middle Tier, but an Upper Tier...

Baiyi’s eyes held a trace of gravity. Carefully considering, what needed to be done now was to expose the threat of Black Night Rose, then elevate his potential to the peak, subsequently becoming the City Lord of Dongwu, and finally, constantly upgrading himself to survive in the possibly chaotic scene that followed.

The past thirty years had indeed been peaceful, but this peace was built on the premise of the Old Sword Saint’s limited lifespan and the Gods’ unwillingness to pay the price.

But a lot had changed now. Technological advancement would make Dawn even tighter, and the emergence of geniuses would make even the Gods restless.

Perhaps it wouldn’t take thirty years... they couldn’t hold it back anymore?

Looking at the forum again, Baiyi noticed the Guard Brigade’s live broadcast. He raised an eyebrow, and an invitation surfaced in his hand.

It seems that... Black Night Rose still needs the players.

”Let’s go, Barrett. Test your new capabilities. Target, 100 kilometers southeast, the Mutated Zone; let’s deliver them a big gift first!”

Baiyi jumped onto Barrett’s head, and immediately, a Mechanical Throne rose, with control levers appearing before him as he sat down.

Originally unable to further grow in power, Barrett felt his current strength and let out a roar of excitement, soaring skyward.

His dissatisfaction with Baiyi had diminished considerably. Just fifty years, if he could continue to grow stronger with this Alchemist, he wouldn’t mind following him forever and marching toward a stronger future.

”Roar~”

The mechanized roar of the dragon echoed through the mountains and forests, heralding the arrival of spring. Birds and beasts were startled and flew away, fleeing into the distance.

Baiyi pushed the control lever forward, and immediately round metal pipes appeared at the edges of the dragon’s wings.

Buzz~

The next moment, azure flames gushed out madly, with the dragon’s speed instantly exceeding Mach five, and the powerful sonic boom brought a strong sense of shock.

Baiyi’s eyes could no longer contain his excitement. There wasn’t a Gundam yet, but modifying a dragon wasn’t bad either!

Next, explosions would be the art, right?
