The wormhole stabilization device Chen Ming had prepared is now ready.

After locking in the precise coordinates of the wormhole and confirming the fluctuations in the surrounding space disturbance values.

He then activated the stabilization device.

Six devices with prismatic structures flew out from the Supreme Point, heading to different locations near the wormhole.

Connecting them together, they formed a perfect octahedron, encapsulating the wormhole.

However, the visible area showed no fancy lights or any changes that could be confirmed with the naked eye.

Only through the sensor signals could they verify that the stabilization device was operating normally.

Chen Ming’s expression was slightly tense.

Because when the stabilization device was activated, it would significantly impact the other side of the wormhole, and they would surely notice it.

If something existed on the other side of the wormhole, it would come over at this time to stop Chen Ming’s actions.

Suddenly, the space fluctuation data received by the Supreme Point’s sensors was briefly disturbed.

Just as Chen Ming’s expression reached its peak tension, ready to act at any moment to prevent unknown dangers.

The space fluctuations suddenly calmed down again.

And thereafter, no further changes occurred.

Thus, the stabilization device completed a successful run.

In the end, Chen Ming’s worries seemed unnecessary.

After confirming that the wormhole stabilization device was stable and temporarily blocking any potential unknown dangers from the wormhole.

He piloted the Supreme Point back into orbit around that habitable planet.

Continuing with the main task he came to this star system for, colonizing the planet.

This time, he aimed to construct a fully-fledged colony, rather than a temporary outpost.

But before that.

Chen Ming planned to name the habitable planet.

After naming this star system as Origin, originally this habitable planet would be called Origin-3.

The two volcanic planets inside were named Origin-1 and Origin-2 based on their distance from the star.

However, considering this is a habitable planet, with a climate very suitable for human habitation, Chen Ming decided to give it a proper name.

After some thought, Chen Ming settled on a somewhat old but classic name, Gaia.

He didn’t think much about Gaia Star’s habitable satellite and simply named it Gaia-1.

And for other planets within the star system, he continued with names like Origin-4, Origin-5, and so forth.

Only planets with special value or significance would be given thoughtful names.

On the Gaia Planet, Chen Ming’s first colony would be established.

The requirements and needs for Chen Ming’s colony differ from ordinary colonies.

Colonies of the Empire would have people and require diverse populations.

Therefore, if the Empire discovered this location, it would prioritize government department construction, setting up administrative offices and various foundational infrastructure for the colony.

Starting from the government, they would gradually expand into a comprehensive colony city.

Subsequently, specialized colonies would be built on surrounding planets and star systems, supplying resources to the initial comprehensive colony, which would serve as the capital of a star realm.

But Chen Ming doesn’t need to follow this process.

He has Brilliant to manage administrative positions, and a whole government department with a machine room equipped with Dusk core suffices.

He doesn’t need so many meaningless comprehensive facilities, as those are for creating jobs.

All he needs is a colony to meet his requirements.

Specifically, he needs a research center that fulfills all his research needs, and not an important equipment laboratory he has to rent.

He wants a colony and planet focused on research.

This is the goal his first colony aims to achieve.

After all, solo research bears no meaning; communication is the foundation of progress.

Thus, this colony won’t just have him but also other researchers.

Each of these researchers will be personally invited or approved by Chen Ming.

Simply put, if there’s a researcher with skills Chen Ming recognizes, he’ll directly lure them away from the Empire.

And then grandly name it personal exchange of learning.

So naturally, the planet will have necessary basic facilities; just not excess infrastructure.

Chen Ming can’t simply present an empty research center while inviting them over, can he?

Matching facilities and various modern entertainment facilities definitely need to follow suit.

Unlike the Empire, which faces population explosions in the space age, thus needing jobs here.

Chen Ming doesn’t have to worry about that; he can openly let the Dusk core manage these matters.

He’s been preparing for this for a long time, and he’s starting to realize his ideas from today onwards.

The Supreme Point quickly returned above Gaia Planet.

Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy acted on Gaia’s orbit, transmitting the Star Gate he captured from the Mechanical Race half a year ago, and which has been adapted for use, to the orbit.

The Star Gate unfolded in orbit, gradually fixing itself in the suitable position.

While the other Star Gate in Chen Ming’s possession is at his Pioneer Fleet’s temporary outpost left after the seventh warp.
