Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

After handling all the necessary affairs and addressing all the pertinent matters,

Chen Ming’s primary consciousness returned to the Dusk Fleet that was actively pioneering.

He returned to his accustomed position atop the Supreme Point.

After greeting Brilliant and Extraordinary, he played a little with Little Stone.

Meanwhile, during this brief period, he also took care of some matters over in the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

Once these tasks were completed, Chen Ming lay directly on the bed, reducing the consciousness share from other regions to the minimum and closed his eyes.

Consolidating the consciousness from other regions allowed him maximum relaxation.

He really needed rest.

Even without a physical body now, a consciousness entity needs rest after prolonged busy periods.

Especially during his engagements with the Mechanical Race, his average daily rest did not exceed two hours.

He truly required a long-overdue rest.

Chen Ming severed most of the ways others could contact him, and allowed his consciousness to drift into a drowsy sleep state.

In a flash, twenty-four hours passed.

Chen Ming rose energetically.

The first thing after waking was to tally the harvest.

Chen Ming’s participation in the war and conflict with the Mechanical Race always had a clear purpose — gaining benefits from war.

The benefits from defeating the Mechanical Race were evident.

From the broader material perspective, the most profitable acquisition this time was certainly the complete colony of the Mechanical Race’s capital star system he took away.

Everything from the Mechanical Race Star Realm was included within this colony, whether data or anything that a Mechanical Race colony should possess.

It pointed out the future developmental direction for his Mechanical Race.

The Mechanical Race is one of the fundamental sources of Chen Ming’s current power system.

The star map documents also confirmed that the existence of the Mechanical Race is incredibly powerful, cultivating his Mechanical Race was undoubtedly correct.

Having such a colony can save countless trial-and-error costs and time.

The value is immeasurable.

Aside from this colony, the next most valuable item should be the Star Gate.

Not only the Star Gate Chen Ming seized in front of the Mechanical Race earlier, but also another Star Gate from the Mechanical Race’s capital star system he took along with Little Stone yesterday before resting.

After all, Star Gates need to be used in pairs, he would definitely find a way to obtain another.

Given the available opportunity, it should not be missed.

The Star Gate’s value lies not only in its individual worth.

It also provides a fast and efficient transport route between his Mechanical Race Star System at the Empire’s border and the destination his Pioneer Fleet reached.

This doesn’t require massive consumption of his spiritual power like the current material transport to the frontline, only large amounts of energy.

For Chen Ming, who has the Insect Race providing abundant energy sources, energy demand is insignificant.

Although the activation of Star Gates causes considerable disturbances.

Not visibly, but spatial waves on a cosmic scale.

Chen Ming would have to handle some issues on the Empire’s side then.

However, these won’t pose serious problems.

Chen Ming is now fearless of anyone or any force.

Cyclic large-scale transport of materials remains highly valuable to Chen Ming.

After all, despite the Pioneer Fleet’s slow expansion, it is expanding, and daily material transport occupies much of his free time. Saving this time and spiritual power for other activities is meaningful for Chen Ming.

Coincidentally, Chen Ming’s Insect Race units have also started their expansion, with remarkable efficiency.

The Insect Race expansion process is about consuming planets and developing planetary resources.

Under normal circumstances, Insect Race expansion consumes all planetary resources.

But under Chen Ming’s request, the Insect Queen controlled this situation, meaning many resources are collected during Insect Race expansion.

Many of these resources will be provided to the Pioneer Fleet.

Some resources are either unsuitable for the Pioneer Fleet or too abundant and unusable.

These resources can be concentrated at temporary outposts and sent back to the Empire via Star Gates, turning into profit upon sale.

Even though Chen Ming’s abilities are already very powerful, money remains important to him so far.

Not just in the sense of being mere numbers.

So the Star Gate represents multifaceted value to Chen Ming.

Next in value is a megastructure taken along with the Star Gate from the Mechanical Race side.

The Mechanical Race’s giant shipyard.

Chen Ming had coveted it for a long time and took advantage of the Mechanical Race’s depleted defenses to take it.

Having it lays the foundation for building Main Ships.

Beyond strategically valuable assets, next in value are two complete Mother Ships from the Mechanical Race, along with seven damaged Mother Ship remnants.

Chen Ming had already decided the usage of the two complete Mechanical Race Mother Ships.

One will be given to the Dusk individual HR, the strongest combatant under him currently, acquired by Bai Quan on the Empire and Dusk’s main battlefield.
