Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Encounter with Kuze“Kuze!”

“Hmm!? Lin Feng’s voice?”

Kuze, who was about to doze off, suddenly opened his eyes and looked behind him.

“Brother Lin, you really live in the Magic Beast Forest!”

Kuze said with a look of surprise.

He had been wandering in this Magic Beast Forest for so long and hadn’t seen any signs of human life, making Kuze almost think Lin Feng was lying to him.

“Young Master Kuze, you, you know each other?”

At this moment, the leading Bounty Hunter asked with a trembling voice.

“What, is it not allowed?”

Kuze said with some impatience.

Lin Feng also noticed the several Bounty Hunters standing beside Kuze.

“Oh, it’s you guys?”

“Brother, we’ve done everything you asked us to do. That curse, is it…”

“Don’t worry, as long as you’ve done what you were supposed to, that curse will naturally disappear on its own.”

Lin Feng said with a playful smile, these people seemed to have been thoroughly fooled by him.

“What curse? Brother Lin, do you know these Bounty Hunters?”

“Sort of, it’s just that the process of getting to know them wasn’t very friendly. These Bounty Hunters tried to capture my pet, but then Little Dragon killed them with a single flame, haha.”

Lin Feng said, stroking Little Dragon’s head.

“So that’s how it is. Alright, you guys are dismissed, go wherever you need to go.”

Kuze flicked his whip and said to those Bounty Hunters, then curiously walked over to Little Dragon.

“What kind of Magic Beast is this?”

“It? It’s not a Magic Beast, it’s just a dinosaur.”

“Dinosaur? I’ve never heard of it. It can also breathe fire. Could it really be related to dragons by blood?”

“Uh, I guess so.”

Lin Feng didn’t know how to explain it to Kuze, but since the other party had imagined it, he might as well go along with it.

“By the way, what was that curse those Bounty Hunters mentioned? Did you put a life curse on them? When did you learn that? I don’t even know how.”

“What? I was just bluffing them. Those idiots actually believed it. By the way, what are you doing in the Magic Beast Forest? You’re not just here to find me, are you?”

Lin Feng asked, stroking Little Dragon.

“Pretty much. We mainly wanted to find you and see where you live. Secondly, we wanted to inquire about the current situation in the Magic Beast Forest. But it seems most Magic Beasts are quite calm right now, so there might still be some time before a riot.”

“Also, Brother Lin, you live in the Magic Beast Forest every day, haven’t you encountered any Magic Beasts?”

Kuze asked curiously.

“Magic Beasts, well, they’re alright. Oh, now that you mention it, I remember. Not long ago, I got a Rock Bear. Since you’re already here, why don’t you come to my place and have a meal?”

“Haha, that’s exactly what I intended! Come, give Brother Lin a horse.”

“Yes, Young Master Kuze.”

A guard quickly dismounted from his horse and handed the reins to Lin Feng.

The group slowly arrived at Lin Feng’s residence.

Lin Feng naturally wouldn’t take them directly to the Elevator, in case they were accidentally injured by the Elevator’s defense system.

101 had built a wooden house by the lake a long time ago, so Lin Feng planned to take Kuze to the lakeside.

The scenery there was also quite nice.

..................

“My goodness, Brother Lin, this scenery of yours is really nice. You have mountains and water, and a forest behind. It’s just this house, it’s a bit humble. How about I send people over to build you a small manor?”

Kuze walked around the wooden house, looking around. The space in this wooden house was barely enough for one person, so it was indeed a bit humble.

However, building a manor would be a bit exaggerated.

“Cough, cough, Brother Kuze, let’s not joke around. 101, bring up my special beef jerky, then go process the Rock Bear. See how you want to prepare it.”

“Understood, Sir.”

101 nodded and silently set the few people in front of him as friendly.

“Brother Lin, this is?”

“Oh, my housekeeper. By the way, let me introduce you to my pets.”

Lin Feng clapped his hands, and Little Dragon, Yellow Bean, and Black Bean all ran over.

“This is Little Dragon, this is Black Bean, and this rat is named Yellow Bean.”

Lin Feng introduced them one by one to Kuze. As for Yellow Bean’s protests afterwards, Lin Feng simply ignored them.

After a brief introduction, 101 also walked over with a plan for preparing the Rock Bear.

After checking that there were no issues, Lin Feng told 101 to prepare quickly.

Little Dragon, as 101’s lighter, naturally followed along happily.

As for Yellow Bean, it didn’t leave. It now treated Black Bean as its home, sleeping on its soft fur every day.

Several hours later, four bear paws were served. Because the Rock Bear’s skin was tough, processing it took a relatively long time, but fortunately, Little Dragon helped.

“By the way, Brother Lin, that Rock Bear hide and bones seem quite valuable. You can keep them.”

Kuze said casually while eating the braised bear paw. An adult Rock Bear’s hide and bones could probably sell for about two hundred gold coins.

“Hmm, it doesn’t matter. You can take this bear penis back. The wine I steeped last time is almost ready to drink. I’ll come find you another day, and we can taste what it’s like.”

“Hehe, alright, then I’ll be waiting for you.”

Kuze said with a mysterious smile, then quietly put away the bear penis. This was a good item, and since Brother Lin didn’t want it, he would gladly accept it.

......................

The meal lasted for more than four hours, and it was late at night when Kuze finally bid farewell to Lin Feng. As for spending the night in the forest, so many of them had nowhere to sleep; they couldn’t just sleep on the ground.

So, it was better to return to the Town under the cover of night.

“Sir, your friend Qin An sent you a message two hours ago. Please check it.”

As an all-around housekeeper, 101 only informed Lin Feng about the new message after realizing that the outsiders had left.

“Anzi? What’s wrong with him?”

Lin Feng stretched, casually conjured a water ball to extinguish the bonfire, then returned to the Elevator to check the message Qin An sent.

“What is this kid looking for me for now?”

Qin An: [Lin Feng, I just received a notification from the Elevator saying that after I pass the next floor, I can go back to Blue Star for a vacation. You said this feather can avoid the Cleaner’s pursuit, but can I bring this thing in? Isn’t it true that no items can be brought into the vacation floor?]

“So that’s what this is about.”

Lin Feng nodded, then replied to Qin An, telling him to just take the feather back with him.

This feather was like a bug in a program; it naturally wouldn’t be cleaned, and the Elevator consciousness might not even detect it.
