Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

A shortcut to complete the task (thanks to the boss for the great certification)Hours later, all the firearms and ammunition he had displayed were sold out, but none of the higher-priced items had been sold.

”Are these people too poor? Or is it a problem with my shop’s location?”

Lin Feng leaned back in his chair, bored; this wasn’t going to work.

He had now earned two thousand gold coins, still a full eighteen thousand gold coins short of the system’s mission objective. If no one bought these higher-value items, Lin Feng might have to stay in this broken place for a month or so.

”Boss, can you tell me about the functions of this mech?”

At this moment, a long-haired man walked over, dressed in ancient clothing but holding a shotgun. This combination looked incredibly mismatched.

However, since it was a customer, Lin Feng naturally had to do his best.

After explaining the functions of the Punishment Camp Armor in detail, the young man was very satisfied and immediately asked for the price, ready to buy it.

”This set of armor costs five hundred gold coins. It has solar charging, so there’s no need to worry about battery life.”

”Alright, I’ll buy it.”

The young man generously paid the gold coins, then put on the armor and left.

”Damn, he’s so generous. I should have sold it for more.”

Seeing the young man walk away, Lin Feng muttered, although the young man displayed a lot of gold coins, he really didn’t expect him to be willing to spend five hundred gold coins on a set of armor. This was a good deal.

But it was still too slow. If it could be a bit faster, that would be great.

Lin Feng frowned, thinking about how he could get gold coins faster.

Just then, another customer came up to Lin Feng.

”Boss, how much is this laser pistol?”

”That one is one thousand five hundred gold coins,” Lin Feng said, his eyes darting around.

”What? Fifteen hundred?! Why don’t you just rob me?!”

Seeing the customer about to leave, Lin Feng changed his tone and quickly added,

”Hey, don’t be in such a hurry to leave. I forgot to tell you, our shop just opened today, and all customers can buy such a laser pistol for only one hundred gold coins. This laser rifle was originally five thousand gold coins, now it’s five hundred gold coins. How about that?”

”That cheap? Is there anything wrong with it?”

The customer, who was just about to leave, couldn’t help but change his mind after hearing such an enticing price.

”Of course. Which one do you want? Just tell me.”

”If that’s the case, then just bring me that laser rifle.”

”Coming right up!”

Lin Feng said with a beaming smile, then took out four thousand five hundred gold coins from his own pocket and handed them over.

”Aren’t you being redundant? Couldn’t you just sell it to me for five hundred gold coins?”

Although the customer was a bit confused by Lin Feng’s actions, it didn’t matter. After all, he was making a profit no matter what.

And Lin Feng had his own reasons for doing such a loss-making, reputation-gaining business.

After the transaction was completed, Lin Feng immediately checked the progress.

Sure enough, it increased by five thousand gold coins.

”Heh heh, isn’t this much faster?”

The progress was just two thousand five hundred gold coins, and now it directly jumped to seven thousand five hundred gold coins.

He just wanted to try if this strategy would work. Now that it proved feasible, the next mission objective would be much simpler.

Anyway, Lin Feng wasn’t selling these things to make money, but just to complete the system’s mission. With the Financial Expert reward from the system’s mission, would he ever lack gold coins?

So, there was no need to care about these small sums of money now.

After one success, Lin Feng continued to wait for the fated person.

Before long, another lucky person arrived.

Originally, he wanted to buy ordinary weapons, but in the end, under Lin Feng’s price advantage, he spent one hundred gold coins to buy a laser pistol.

And Lin Feng also received one thousand five hundred gold coins.

.........................

In this way, in less than an hour, Lin Feng’s turnover reached twenty thousand gold coins.

Although he lost some weapons, it wasn’t a big problem; he couldn’t use them all anyway.

”Beep, congratulations, Host, for completing the mission. The Financial Expert reward has been issued. Please check it.”

”Heh heh, isn’t it in hand now!”

The Elevator had already opened, but it was up to Lin Feng whether to enter or not.

After completing the system’s mission, Lin Feng did not stay on the Trading Floor but directly returned to the Elevator space.

”Now, I really won’t lack gold coins anymore,” Lin Feng said with great satisfaction, but this floor’s Elevator didn’t seem to have any rewards, but the Elevator’s stingy behavior wasn’t a one or two time occurrence.

”Sir, during your absence, several humans appeared around the base. What would you like to do?”

At this moment, 101 slowly walked over and said.

Because it had not received authorization from Lin Feng, it did not let Little Dragon capture those intruders. That’s right, 101 had already considered this forest as Lin Feng’s exclusive base, and any human of unknown identity entering it was defined as an illegal intruder.

And in its program, it could kill humans marked as illegal intruders after receiving permission.

Therefore, 101 came to ask Lin Feng for instructions.

”People are coming again so soon, they really don’t let one rest,” Lin Feng sighed, then asked 101 to lead him over.

And 101 had already sent Little Dragon to follow those people in advance, and it would leave markers.

As long as they followed the markers, they could find those intruders.

Soon, Lin Feng saw Little Dragon’s figure.

”Shh—”

Lin Feng put his index finger to his lips, then whispered,

”Where are those people?”

Little Dragon heard him and pointed his head in a direction.

”Kuze?”

Lin Feng said in surprise after scanning with his divine sense.

He didn’t expect Kuze to arrive so quickly.

If that was the case, there was no need to do anything.

At this moment, Kuze, riding on a horse, was almost falling asleep.

They all said the Magic Beast Forest had been restless lately, but why couldn’t he see a single magic beast?!

And this time, besides looking for magic beasts, he also had to find Brother Lin, but he still hadn’t found him after wandering for so long.

”Hey!”

Kuze shouted at the Bounty Hunters.

”Young Master Kuze, what’s wrong? Please feel free to order anything you need.”

The Bounty Hunters immediately turned around and flattered him.

”Where was the place you were attacked last time in the Magic Beast Forest? Take me there.”

”Yes, yes! But Young Master Kuze, there’s a mysterious magic beast over there that can breathe fire, and it’s very strong...”

”Less nonsense, lead the way quickly!” Kuze cracked the whip in his hand and reprimanded.

Kuze had no good feelings for these swindling Bounty Hunters.

If it weren’t for the fact that they still had some use now, Kuze would have long ago had the Bounty Hunter Association revoke their Bounty Hunter status.
