Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Changes in the Warcraft Forest”Squeak, squeak! What a big bear! Bear paw ~ hehehe.”

Black Bean looked at Little Dragon with anticipation, clearly wanting Little Dragon to burn the bear to death with a single flame.

However, Little Dragon noticed the bear’s panicked expression, as if it was trying to avoid something.

And it completely ignored Little Dragon and Black Bean, jumping out of the bushes and fleeing in a panic.

At the same time, human voices came from the direction the bear had run from.

”The Rock Bear got away! Chase it quickly!”

”Damn it, we’ve been waiting for so many days, how can we let you just run off like that? Brothers, as long as we don’t damage the Rock Bear’s fur, use whatever skills you have!”

..........

Soon, the people chasing the Rock Bear also emerged from behind the bushes, while Little Dragon and Black Bean had already hidden behind a nearby tree.

The few people eager to hunt the Rock Bear didn’t notice anything amiss.

”Little Dragon, do you think we should kill these people or capture them alive?”

”Awoo!” (Must capture them alive!)

”Oh, you want me to make the decision, huh? Haha, as expected of Ben Shu’s number one little brother. Since that’s the case, let’s capture them alive!”

Black Bean chuckled, then directly climbed onto Little Dragon’s head and waved his little paw.

”Charge!”

At this moment, the hunters pursuing the Rock Bear also heard the commotion behind them and turned to look.

”What kind of creature is this? Why does it look so much like a dragon?”

”Could it be a dragon’s cub?”

”Probably not, but it might have some blood relation to a giant dragon. Stop chasing the Rock Bear for now; I suddenly feel like this creature is more valuable.”

The leading hunter looked at Little Dragon running towards them with a greedy smile.

As for Black Bean on Little Dragon’s head?

They only thought it was a fearless mouse.

”Roar!”

Just as the few of them were discussing whether to capture or kill it, Little Dragon roared at them, then a stream of fire erupted from its mouth.

It directly surrounded the few people, but Little Dragon was very careful.

It only used the flame to surround them without harming them, after all, they were to be captured alive.

At this moment, Lin Feng, who had rushed over after hearing the commotion, also saw this scene.

On the way, Lin Feng had even slapped the Rock Bear he encountered unconscious, planning to add it to his dinner.

”Awoo!!”

Little Dragon happily cried out a few times when he saw Lin Feng arriving, and Black Bean also quickly ran to Lin Feng’s side to explain the situation.

After speaking, he ran onto Black Bean, ruffled his fur a few times, and then comfortably lay down on him.

”So that’s how it is. Little Dragon, put out the fire now.”

Lin Feng nodded, then said to Little Dragon.

These hunters were just desperate individuals with a bit of magic and good fighting skills. Plus, the widely circulated rumor was that the cub of a giant dragon couldn’t use magic, had no attack power, and only ate and slept. That’s why they dared to target Little Dragon.

Who would have thought that Little Dragon’s breath attack would directly capture them all in one go?

”Who are you people, and why are you here?”

Lin Feng casually cast a truth-telling spell and asked.

”We are Bounty Hunters hired to catch Rock Bears here. The person who hired us is the young master of the Ol family from Lantern City. Besides that, he also asked us to inquire about recent news in the Magic Beast Forest.”

”What news?”

Lin Feng continued to press for answers.

”News of the beast tide. Every year, there’s a large-scale beast tide in the Magic Beast Forest. Although it’s very dangerous at this time, it’s also a good opportunity to hunt Magic Beasts.”

Beast tide? I knew it, why have people been coming to this desolate place recently?

First, the young master of some family came to catch Demon Clams a while ago, and now someone is here to catch Rock Bears and he’s run into them.

Does this mean more and more people will be entering the Magic Beast Forest later?

Lin Feng frowned. Although he didn’t want this to happen, it seemed he couldn’t stop it.

Killing these Bounty Hunters would be useless, because whether he killed them or not, that family would definitely continue to send people into the Magic Beast Forest. It would be better to let these Bounty Hunters go back and spread the news that the Magic Beast Forest is currently very dangerous and entering it is a near-certain death.

Thinking of this, Lin Feng made up his mind.

He naturally hoped that as few people as possible would enter the Magic Beast Forest. Once too many people came, he wouldn’t be able to live such a peaceful life anymore.

Next, Lin Feng directly took out a large stack of empire gold coinss and rewarded them to these hunters, telling them to go back and fabricate stories about how dangerous the Magic Beast Forest was.

Of course, besides temptation, there was also coercion.

Lin Feng pretentiously cast a harmless magic spell on them.

And falsely claimed it was a contract magic. As long as they didn’t fulfill the task Lin Feng gave them, the magic would automatically explode, and they wouldn’t even find a complete corpse.

The key thing was that these Bounty Hunters actually believed him.

After all, there are countless types of magic, and all sorts of strange magic exist, so they couldn’t help but believe it.

Next, Lin Feng could only hope that his plan would work.

If too many people really entered the Magic Beast Forest later, Lin Feng would just try his best not to leave the Elevator.

Not going out wasn’t because Lin Feng was cowardly, but because he was truly too lazy to deal with those ignorant small fry.

Regarding the beast tide, Kuze should know about it too. He’s probably already dispatched people to the Magic Beast Forest, right?

Little did he know, Kuze’s return to his family this time was precisely for this matter.

According to the information they received, this beast tide in the Magic Beast Forest was very likely to disturb an epic-level Magic Beast. The Magic Crystal it produced, as well as the fur and bones obtained after killing it, were all extremely valuable treasures.

So Kuze planned to take on this task to further increase his support rate and also to see where Lin Feng lived.

Ever since he learned that Lin Feng resided in the Magic Beast Forest, Kuze had been very curious about exactly where Lin Feng lived.

At the same time, someone like Kuze, who enjoyed adventure, certainly wouldn’t just hire a few Bounty Hunters to enter the Magic Beast Forest to gather information.

If he was going, he would lead people into the Magic Beast Forest himself.

.......................

Two days later, Lin Feng explored two more subordinate floors during these two days, but no new tasks were refreshed, and they both ended quickly. However, the good news was that all the upgrade materials had been gathered, and only the upgrade task and attribute requirements remained.

At the same time, those Bounty Hunters also returned to Lantern City, and the mysterious stories about the Magic Beast Forest were told by them.

For example, black magic turning Magic Beasts into bloodthirsty monsters unafraid of pain, and absurd stories like the large trees in the Magic Beast Forest eating people.
