After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1648: Chapter 1652: Where Is the Girl You Captured?

He knew that his death this time was inevitable. Compared to his comrades who died in a coma, his death was destined to be more painful and terrifying, and before that, he would have to endure endless torment.

These things, Leng Zirui naturally wouldn’t care.

When the yacht was moving autonomously, he rummaged around the boat and found a diving suit in the storeroom, put it on, and stuffed the gun and fake key inside. Leng Zirui glanced at the waterproof watch on his wrist and returned to the control room.

The map showed he was not far from the opponent’s ship. Turning off the lights on the yacht, Leng Zirui continued forward, feeling his way in the dark.

Until he saw that medium-sized yacht on the distant sea, he immediately stopped the engine, submerged in the water, and quietly swam toward that yacht.

Under the cover of night, Leng Zirui quietly approached the yacht.

On the boat, although there were people on the deck on lookout, more of their attention was on boats on the sea, not noticing someone silently approaching in the water.

Grabbing the ropes on the side of the boat, he carefully climbed onto the yacht. Leng Zirui raised his hand to cover the mouth and nose of the man in front of him who was about to light a cigarette, deftly drew a knife and pressed it against the man’s throat, dragging him to a concealed corner.

He turned off the man’s earpiece and then asked, ”Where is the girl you captured?! Tell me quickly, or I’ll kill you!”

The man spat out a few clumsy phrases in Mandarin, ”...lower...lower deck!”

With a flick of the wrist, Leng Zirui ruthlessly slit his throat.

The man shuddered violently. He forcefully covered the man’s mouth and nose, preventing him from making a noise, until he showed no movement at all. Only then did Leng Zirui release his hold on the man and dragged him into a dimly lit room behind him.

A moment later, when he came back out, the diving suit was already off, leaving only a stylish pair of combat trousers and a black T-shirt. He had also put on the boots of the man he had just killed.

Equipping himself with the man’s sunglasses and earpiece, Leng Zirui casually stuffed the gun he had scavenged into his pocket, then stealthily made his way toward the lower deck.

Inside the yacht.

Xu Xia slowly woke up, the piercing light stinging her eyes. It took a while for her to adjust to the brightness.

She tried to move her body, only to feel soreness all over. The ropes not only bound her hands and feet, but were tied in reverse, preventing her from even standing.

Not far away, two guys responsible for guarding her were chatting while drinking cold beer.

Since passing through the marine police line, apart from Allen, the others hadn’t put their hoods back on.

Xu Xia had seen many movies and knew this situation. These guys probably didn’t plan for her and Leng Zirui to return alive.

Robbers who only want money wouldn’t kill. To avoid the abductees from reporting them, they mostly hide their appearances so the victims can’t identify them. It’s only when they decide to kill the captives that they don’t mind showing their faces.

She was still alive; her plan hadn’t worked.

Then, Leng Zirui, had he come?!

Earlier, she had doubted if he would come. But later, hearing his voice on the phone, she finally believed he had truly come.

Looking sideways at the bullet casing necklace slipping out from her clothes.

Xu Xia was filled with regret.

Why pretend to be a couple with him?!

If it weren’t for that, they wouldn’t have misunderstood her relationship with him, and that person wouldn’t be in danger because of her, right?!
