After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1381: Chapter 1385: Stay Away from Him

”You wait on the sofa for a moment!” Leng Zirui whispered softly, walked over to open his computer, quickly accessed his email, pulled up the photos and information, then brought the computer over, placing it on the coffee table in front of Luo Xiaoqian. He sat next to her, raised his hand, and pointed to the Caucasian man on the screen, ”Have you seen this person before?!”

Luo Xiaoqian looked carefully at the photo on the screen. The man in the photo was about thirty-something, dressed in a sharp suit, with an average appearance and nothing particularly distinctive.

”This... looks somewhat familiar.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled at him a little embarrassedly, ”But I’m not sure.”

It was just a brief encounter, and the other party was a Westerner with the most common brownish-yellow hair and white skin, the most ordinary appearance. Without any special facial features, it was impossible to leave a deep impression.

”Is there something wrong with this person?” Luo Xiaoqian asked.

”He’s dead. He was found dead in the airport restroom, his head pressed into the toilet, suffocated to death,” Leng Zirui said.

Luo Xiaoqian frowned slightly, ”How about I call John to take a look, he was with me at the time.”

”Okay.” Leng Zirui agreed, and Luo Xiaoqian stood up, walked out of the study, went to John’s room, and invited him over to identify the photo together.

John looked carefully at the photo on the screen and immediately nodded, ”That’s right, the person Sissi bumped into was this man!”

”Can you be certain?” Leng Zirui asked.

”I’m sure!” John nodded seriously, then pointed at the photo on the screen, ”Look at his nose, it’s very red, right? And here on his neck, there’s a very noticeable mole, which I saw clearly at the time.”

Also a former special forces soldier, John had received extensive training, and being a Westerner himself, he was quite adept at distinguishing Western faces.

”Thank you, this is very helpful to me.” Leng Zirui stood up and shook his hand. John, understanding the situation, didn’t ask any questions and immediately found an excuse to leave the study.

”Is this matter related to Cobra?” Luo Xiaoqian asked softly.

Leng Zirui nodded gently, ”This person was a secretary to an official from the Russian military, suspected of selling national military secrets. We suspect this matter might be related to Cobra.”

Luo Xiaoqian’s brow furrowed even more, ”Do you mean Luo Ke?!”

”From the current situation, all signs are pointing to Europe. Cobra seems to favor Europe. However, I have already investigated Luo Ke. His business is not limited to the entertainment industry; he dabbles in many areas, and he previously had a cooperative project with the Russian military. These don’t prove that he is Cobra, but...” Leng Zirui seriously looked at Luo Xiaoqian, ”To be safe, you should stay away from him.”

Leng Zirui had only met Luo Ke once, yet, even from that brief encounter, he clearly sensed a dangerous aura from Luo Ke’s eyes.

Although it was just an intuition, Leng Zirui’s instincts have always been sharp.

”Luo Ke and I aren’t even considered friends; at most, we only have a cooperative relationship.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled, ”But I’ll remember your advice and try to keep my distance from him in the future!”

Actually, even without Leng Zirui’s reminder, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t intend to have any deep association with Luo Ke.
