After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1354: Chapter 1358: Do What You Love Most

”Ah!”

Xu Xia exclaimed, screaming as she jumped off the hammock.

Leng Zirui looked at Xu Xia who had leapt onto the grass, and couldn’t help but laugh, ”It’s just a bottle of ointment, not a venomous snake. Why are you reacting so intensely!”

Hearing his voice, Xu Xia looked carefully at the grass, and indeed saw a tube of ointment lying there. She immediately raised an eyebrow and looked at him, ”Leng Zirui, you did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

”How was I supposed to know you’re so timid.”

”How am I timid? If you were lying there alone and I suddenly threw something at you, let’s see how you’d react!”

”What’s the big deal? Last time, when I went to the Amazon to perform a task, I spent a week alone in the jungle.” Leng Zirui said nonchalantly.

”Bragging!”

”Believe it or not!”

Leng Zirui walked up to her, took off his jacket and tossed it onto a chair nearby, then lifted his T-shirt.

”What... what are you trying to do?!”

She walked up to him, and he was taking off his jacket and his T-shirt. What did this guy mean?!

Leng Zirui raised his hand, took off his T-shirt, and with a mischievous smile, leaned his face closer to hers.

”In the dead of night, with a lone man and woman, naturally it’s time to do what you love the most!”

He grabbed her arm and pressed her to sit down on the hammock, casually tucking her long hair behind her ear.

Feeling his fingers glide over her skin and hair, Xu Xia’s heart trembled along with it.

He... he wants to...

”Remember, be gentle!”

He raised her hand and placed something from his pocket into her palm.

Xu Xia looked down and saw a thin needle and a small packet of cotton in her hand.

What is this?!

While she was wondering, Leng Zirui had already turned and sat on the grass in front of her, ”First pierce the blister, then use the cotton swab to squeeze out the water, then apply the ointment!”

Blister?!

Xu Xia raised her head and looked at Leng Zirui in front of her.

She saw his back, covered in scars of varying depth, with a lot of clear burn marks on his skin, the surface already charred in some places; even though it’s not a large area, there were already quite a few blisters the size of soybeans.

This is...

Xu Xia’s eyes widened in shock, ”You... you got burned?!”

Just now, she thought he was fine, but it turned out he had so many blisters from burns!

Leng Zirui casually said, ”What burn? It’s not that serious... just some small burns, no big deal.”

Xu Xia frowned, ”It’s so serious, why didn’t you say it earlier?”

”Everyone was having such a good time, I didn’t want to ruin the mood.” Leng Zirui glanced at her, ”Xu Xia, you’re not that cowardly, are you? Afraid to even pop a blister?!”

”Why wouldn’t I dare? It doesn’t hurt me!” Xu Xia raised her hand to steady his shoulder, ”Lower a little!”

Even though she spoke nonchalantly, her actions were careful. She first disinfected the tip of the needle with cotton, then gently pierced a blister, and then carefully squeezed out the water with a cotton swab.

”Is this pressure okay?”

While squeezing the water from the blister, Xu Xia asked in a low voice.

”Could you speed it up, Grandma? It’s not like you’re embroidering!” Leng Zirui sneered.

This jerk, she was being gentle out of concern that he’d hurt, yet he still complained she was slow.

Xu Xia gritted her teeth, no longer hesitated, holding a needle in one hand, a cotton swab in the other, piercing one blister, squeezing one, all while clenching her teeth.

Stupid jerk, I hope it hurts you to death!
