After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1370: Chapter 1374: You Must Save My Child

The ambulance roared out of the detention center, heading quickly toward the nearest hospital.

Inside the vehicle, Seo Fei curled up painfully on the bed, her face pale.

There was a noticeable bloodstain on her pants.

Beside her, two prison guards watched her vigilantly, while the prison doctor observed her complexion anxiously, a palm pressed against hers, ”Don’t worry, we will reach the hospital soon!”

Seo Fei was indeed anxious at this moment, she didn’t know what was happening.

Shortly after taking those three pills, her lower abdomen began to ache and then she started bleeding. Upon hearing the word ”miscarriage” from the prison doctor’s mouth, she nearly passed out from panic.

She knew this child was her only chance; only by keeping this child might she secure an execution outside prison. Without this child, she had no hope at all.

”Doctor, you must save my child, I’m begging you...” She grasped the prison doctor’s hand tightly, urgency filling her tone.

”We will do our best!” the prison doctor reassured her.

Soon, the vehicle drove into the hospital, where doctors had already come out to take Seo Fei into the emergency room.

While examining her, the doctor inquired in detail about whether she had eaten anything or engaged in any unusual activities.

Those three little pills flashed before Seo Fei’s eyes, but she shook her head firmly, ”No, I’ve eaten nothing since morning. Doctor, please tell me, what is going on?”

”The bleeding is caused by uterine contractions. We’re injecting medication to preserve the pregnancy, but the specific reasons will be determined after we conduct examinations,” the doctor replied.

”She had a conflict last night with a female inmate sharing her cell,” the prison doctor added.

”I see...” The emergency doctor looked at Seo Fei’s face, ”Did she hit your abdomen?”

Seo Fei thought for a moment. Yesterday, the female inmate had slapped her face and scratched her neck, but she hadn’t hit Seo Fei’s abdomen.

”Have you ever had a miscarriage, or is there any unusual condition with your uterus?” the doctor asked again.

Seo Fei still shook her head, ”This is my first pregnancy, I... haven’t had my uterus examined.”

”I see, then we’ll need to do a thorough examination. Let’s admit her to the hospital first,” the doctor said to the prison doctor.

Upon hearing the words ”hospital admission,” Seo Fei felt a sudden relief from her anxiety.

This means she doesn’t have to return to her cell for the time being, doesn’t have to face her violent cellmate, and doesn’t have to stay in the tiny pigeonhole... Great!

As the prison doctor went out to complete the hospital admission procedures, Leng Zirui and Seo Shaochuan also briskly walked in from outside, and the prison director waiting outside the emergency room immediately came forward to inquire about the situation.

”What exactly is going on?” Leng Zirui asked in a deep voice.

”The reason hasn’t been determined yet, but Seo Fei has a bleeding condition and signs of miscarriage. The doctor recommended hospitalization for treatment,” the prison director replied.

Leng Zirui glanced sideways into the ward, ”Any special circumstances?”

”Just that she had a conflict with an inmate yesterday and saw a lawyer an hour and a half ago.”

”A lawyer?” Leng Zirui frowned slightly, ”What did they talk about?”

”The lawyer brought over a will document from Tang Ming for Seo Fei to sign and then talked a little about the appeal before leaving.”

Seeing the attending doctor come out, Leng Zirui quickly stepped forward to intercept him, ”How is the prisoner’s fetus?”

Good night.
