After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1372: Chapter 1376: What Is the Drug’s Effect

”It was Seo Fei who did it. Yesterday, that female prisoner hit her, so she poured water onto the other’s blanket and stomped on it several times,” the superintendent explained.

Leng Zirui raised an eyebrow. This woman, as expected, is beyond saving.

Turning around, he walked over to Seo Fei’s bed, put on gloves from his pocket, and carefully picked up her blanket to inspect it.

Seo Fei’s bed was very messy, but apart from some bloodstains, he didn’t find much else.

At this moment, his phone was already ringing. Taking it out, he glanced at Seo Shaochuan’s number on the screen. Leng Zirui answered the call, and Seo Shaochuan’s voice immediately came through, ”The image has been processed.”

”I’m coming right over!” Hanging up the phone, Leng Zirui strode back to the main control room, pushed the door open, and approached Seo Shaochuan from behind. As expected, he saw on the screen that the image was much clearer, clearly showing the corner of a plastic item between Seo Fei’s fingers and the pen.

”Superintendent!” A staff member rushed in, ”The hospital called. They said there’s a residue of mifepristone in Seo Fei’s blood.”

”Mifepristone?!” Leng Zirui turned his face, ”What’s the drug effect?”

”It’s a drug that can cause uterine contraction and is used for medical abortion,” the staff member answered.

Why would Seo Fei want to miscarry this child?!

Leng Zirui frowned in confusion.

Given her current situation, she should be trying her best to keep this child, so why do this?

In his pocket, the phone vibrated again. Leng Zirui pulled it out and answered the call.

”Boss, Lawyer Wang had a car accident!” On the other end came the voice of one of his subordinates.

Since discovering traces of this Lawyer Wang that day, Leng Zirui had already ordered his men to follow him.

”How is it now?”

”Died on the spot!”

”What happened?” Leng Zirui asked in a deep voice.

”Couldn’t slow down during a turn and crashed into a straight-going truck. The traffic police preliminarily judged it as a brake system failure,” the subordinate answered.

”Alright, I understand. Don’t show yourself, just find a way to get the details from the traffic police.” Leng Zirui hung up the phone, crossed his arms, and frowned, ”Cobra, you’re truly ruthless!”

”What’s wrong?” Seo Shaochuan asked.

”They’ve achieved their goal by silencing Lawyer Wang!” Leng Zirui tucked the phone into his pocket, ”Let’s go, to the hospital!”

The two rushed back to the hospital. Seo Shaochuan was also puzzled, ”Does that mean they want to silence Seo Fei too?”

Judging from the current situation, Lawyer Wang is already dead, and since Seo Fei was moved out of prison to the hospital, it would be relatively easy to assassinate her. Naturally, Seo Shaochuan thought the other side wanted to eliminate Seo Fei.

”No... that’s not right!” Leng Zirui shook his head gently, ”If they wanted to kill Seo Fei, they could have just lured her into taking poison. There’s no need for such trouble.”

From the video, it could be inferred that Lawyer Wang must have handed Seo Fei the pills when passing her the pen. Although he didn’t know how they induced Seo Fei to take the drug, since they could get her to take the abortion pill, they could also get her to take poison. There’s no need to go through the trouble of keeping her alive and then attempting an assassination at the hospital.

”Maybe they want to use the miscarriage to kill Seo Fei and deceive everyone,” Seo Shaochuan suggested.
