After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1096: Chapter 1100: She’s Not Much to Look At, but Please Make Do

”You...”

Xu Xia was about to say something when Leng Zirui stepped on the gas pedal. The car immediately drove into the compound, and due to inertia, Xu Xia’s body swayed and she fell straight onto the car seat.

Seeing her in such a sorry state, Leng Zirui just chuckled lightly.

Xu Xia glared at him indignantly and sat up straight.

The SUV sped to a stop in front of the Leng Family’s house, executing a beautiful tail spin and braking.

Xu Xia was prepared, holding the handgrip, sitting firmly like Mount Tai on the seat.

”Not bad, right!”

Leng Zirui pushed the door open and got out of the car.

Xu Xia also pushed open her side of the car door and got out, walking quickly up the steps. Leng Zirui lazily followed, gazing down at his feet as he stood beside her. She raised her foot in high heels and suddenly stomped towards Leng Zirui’s foot.

Leng Zirui had already guessed her intention and lightly withdrew his foot, causing Xu Xia to miss and stumble, losing control of her balance.

”Ah!”

She screamed instinctively.

Seeing her about to fall down the steps, Leng Zirui swiftly stepped forward, grabbed her arm, and gently pulled her back onto the steps, causing her to fall into his arms.

Leaning against the doorframe, Leng Zirui wore a mischievous smile, ”In such a hurry to throw yourself into my arms? How about I go to your place tonight?!”

Xu Xia quickly stood up straight, ”I’m only afraid you wouldn’t dare to go!”

Leng Zirui pressed the doorbell, glancing at her chest, ”It’s not that I don’t dare, I’m just not interested in an airport.”

Xu Xia mimicked him, glancing between his legs, ”Just afraid some people are raising a bird too small to show off!”

Leng Zirui’s face showed no anger, ”Why don’t you come and feel it, to see if it’s big or small!”

Xu Xia gritted her teeth, ”Shameless!”

”It seems like the one who just kissed me first and helped me undress was you, right?” Leng Zirui asked with a smile.

Xu Xia was about to retort when Aunt Su opened the door from inside, and seeing Leng Zirui, immediately beamed.

”Zirui is back...” noticing Xu Xia next to him, her face instantly turned puzzled, ”And who is this?!”

This was Xu Xia’s first time at the Leng Family, so Aunt Su didn’t recognize her.

Seeing Aunt Su, Xu Xia immediately spoke politely, ”Hello, I am...”

Leng Zirui interrupted her with a smile, ”She’s Xu Xia, my girlfriend. Not very pretty, please bear with it!”

”Leng Zirui!” Xu Xia pushed him aside and looked back at Aunt Su with a gentle expression, ”You must be Aunt Su, I’m Xiao Qian’s friend, here to see Xiao Qian!”

”Oh, please come in, come in!” Aunt Su quickly ushered her into the living room, ”Have a seat on the sofa for a bit, I’ll go upstairs to call Xiao Qian!”

Xu Xia stepped to the small sofa near the stairs, just about to sit.

”Stop!” Leng Zirui quickly spoke, ”That’s my spot!”

This small sofa, with its back against the stairs, allowed a clear view of the entire living room and the main entrance from there.

Whenever Leng Zirui was home and in the living room, he’d always choose this spot.

The reason was nothing but his occupational habit; this was the safest and most convenient place in the living room for observation.

Xu Xia had no idea about the reason, assuming he was just deliberately competing with her for a spot, rolled her eyes at him, and straightened her clothes and went to sit down.

But Leng Zirui dashed over like an arrow and sat on the sofa first.

Xu Xia was already bending over, and it was too late to stand up again, causing her to fall straight onto his lap.
