After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1056: Chapter 1060: He Deserves to Know

Luo Jun stood not far away, his little neck stiff, letting out a cold snort.

”Luo Jun!”

Luo Xiaoqian’s voice rose as well.

Luo Jun turned his face, a stubborn tone evident in his voice, ”I did nothing wrong, why should I apologize, Mom?”

Just like his father Leng Zimo, the little guy, though young, was also stubbornly obstinate.

If he thought he wasn’t wrong about something, even Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t easily change his mind.

Luo Xiaoqian stood up, ”Luo Jun!”

Given the current situation, after careful consideration, she decided not to reveal the truth to Luo Jun, fearing he would misunderstand Leng Zimo. She had particularly instructed Leng Lin and Aunt Su and others about this, but still, nothing could be hidden.

For Luo Jun, Luo Xiaoqian had always been strict, and hitting others was absolutely forbidden.

Today, Luo Jun dared to hit Qin Wanwan, something she absolutely couldn’t allow.

”Xiao Qian, let it be, don’t be too demanding on the child.” Leng Lin stood up, walked over, and took Luo Jun’s hand, ”Come on, Mo Mo, Grandpa will take you upstairs to wash your face.”

Watching Luo Jun go upstairs with Leng Lin, Luo Xiaoqian frowned and sighed.

Huangfu Ruo stood up, ”Wanwan, apologize to Aunt Luo.”

”It’s fine, the kid wasn’t entirely wrong.” Luo Xiaoqian gently touched Qin Wanwan’s face and wiped away the traces of tears, ”Wanwan, be good, don’t cry, Aunt apologizes on behalf of Mo Mo, I’m sorry.”

”Aunt Luo!” Qin Wanwan sniffled, ”I heard them say that you hurt Uncle Zimo. Uncle Zimo cares about me a lot. I can help you and Mo Mo plead with Uncle Zimo, he will surely forgive you!”

Seeing the little kid’s innocent and kind eyes, Luo Xiaoqian felt her eyes warm up and immediately hugged the adorable child, ”Don’t worry, Wanwan, Aunt will find a way to apologize to Uncle Zimo.”

All the adults felt uneasy listening to Qin Wanwan’s childish voice.

Clearly, they should have been a happy family, yet things had turned out like this. How could anyone not feel a pang in their heart?

”Xiao Qian!” Huangfu Ruo frowned, ”I understand this is your personal business, but why? Why did you do that back then?!”

Luo Xiaoqian bit her lip and stood up, ”It’s all my fault; I was young and reckless at the time. Please, don’t ask anymore, alright?”

”Ruoruo!” Qin Lan glanced at Luo Xiaoqian’s expression and gently patted Huangfu Ruo’s shoulder, ”It’s getting late, let’s go back first. Xiao Qian, you should have a good talk with Luo Jun. Yizhou, Tong Ya, let’s go.”

”Alright!”

Shen Yizhou and Tong Ya understood Qin Lan’s intentions, immediately standing up from the sofa. Luo Xiaoqian didn’t keep them for dinner, under these circumstances, the meal wouldn’t be enjoyable even if eaten.

After seeing them off, Luo Xiaoqian went back upstairs to the study, only to see Leng Lin retrieving the wedding album of her and Leng Zimo from a locked cabinet.

”What are you doing?!” Luo Xiaoqian asked in confusion.

”Since it can’t be kept a secret anymore, just tell him.” Leng Lin looked at Luo Jun, who was sitting dejectedly on the sofa, ”I can’t bear to see the little guy like this.”

Luo Xiaoqian frowned, ”But...”

”I know you want to protect Zimo, but you can’t make Mo Mo suffer because of it.” Leng Lin raised his hand and patted her shoulder, ”He has the right to know who his father is!”
