After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1054: Chapter 1058: You miss him, don’t you?

At dusk, the Leng Family Mansion.

Luo Xiaoqian looked at the closing price of Emperor View shares displayed on the computer screen and gently raised the corners of her lips.

The final closing price of Emperor View shares had already exceeded the level before the decline by more than one percentage point, a result she was very satisfied with.

Closing the stock price webpage, Luo Xiaoqian used the online chat platform to discuss work progress with Mike.

Because she often travels for work, she frequently used this method to communicate with her subordinates. Although L&L Planning’s Beijing branch temporarily took a few days off, it did not affect her work. Everyone just temporarily moved the office to their homes; as for the field staff, there was even less impact.

Having handled some necessary work, Luo Xiaoqian just stretched her arms when someone pushed open the study door.

Little Luo Jun tiptoed over, ”Mom, are you done working?”

”Yes!” Luo Xiaoqian stood up from the chair and walked over to the little guy, ”What’s up, are you hungry?”

Luo Jun shook his head gently and looked up at her, ”Mom, can I go to kindergarten next week? It’s really boring at home.”

He’d been cooped up at home for several days and was getting really bored.

Although he had several adults like Luo Xiaoqian and Uncle John around, staying in the compound every day was still uninteresting for the little guy.

”Next week?” Luo Xiaoqian crouched down and touched his little face, ”Okay, I’ll have Uncle John take you to kindergarten on Monday.”

”Hooray for Mom!” The little guy immediately went from cloudy to sunny, ”Tomorrow is the weekend, is Uncle Zimo coming back too?”

”Uncle Zimo... he’s been very busy lately, probably won’t be able to come back,” Luo Xiaoqian looked into the little guy’s eyes, ”Do you miss him?”

Luo Jun nodded. He had become accustomed to Leng Zimo’s daily presence, and this time, not seeing him for several days, he inevitably missed him.

”Be a good boy, Mo Mo, just wait a few more days. When Uncle Zimo isn’t busy, he’ll come to see you,” Luo Xiaoqian held his little hand and stood up, ”Shall we go play ball on the grass?”

”Okay!” Luo Jun agreed with a smile.

The mother and son walked downstairs together, and just as they reached the living room, they heard someone knocking on the door.

”I’ll get it!” Luo Jun ran over and opened the door. Seeing the people standing outside, he immediately exclaimed, ”Mom, come quick, guests are here.”

Luo Xiaoqian walked over in confusion, only to see outside the door, Huangfu Ruo and Qin Lan with Qin Wanwan, followed by Tong Ya and Shen Yizhou.

”Xiao Qian!”

Calling her name, Huangfu Ruo stepped forward and directly embraced her, crying uncontrollably.

”Why is Mom crying?” Qin Wanwan, held in Qin Lan’s arms, looked at Huangfu Ruo crying and asked with a puzzled face.

Qin Lan looked at the two women hugging and spoke in a deep tone, ”Because your mom is just too happy.”

Leng Lin happened to walk into the living room from the backyard, saw the group, paused for a moment, and then approached, ”Xiao Qian, let’s have everyone come in!”

”Okay!” Luo Xiaoqian comfortingly patted Huangfu Ruo’s back, ”Everyone come in and have a seat.”

”Xiao Zhao!” Leng Lin immediately called out to the guard Xiao Zhao, ”Take the kids to the grass to play for a while.”

Xiao Zhao took the two children, Luo Jun and Qin Wanwan, to the backyard grass to play. Meanwhile, everyone else sat on the sofa, and Aunt Su, who had already brought out some fruit, was sent out by Leng Lin under the pretense of buying more groceries.
