After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1063: Chapter 1067 Tang Ming’s Methods (2)

”Such a gentleman.” Xiao Gao, sitting next to Xu Xia, exclaimed as he leaned over and looked at the business card in Xu Xia’s hand, immediately gasping, ”President of S.T Trading Company, oh my, he’s truly a rich, handsome, and successful man.”

”S.T?” Xu Xia glanced at the business card, ”Is it famous?!”

”Of course!” Xiao Gao took today’s newspaper, handed it to her, flipped to the economic section, and pointed at Tang Ming’s picture, ”I wondered why he looked so familiar, turns out I just saw him in the newspaper today.”

Xu Xia looked at Tang Ming’s photo in the newspaper and wasn’t too surprised. The man had a clear aura of someone in a high position, achieving such success wasn’t a big deal.

”Xu Xia, this man is great, don’t let him slip away,” Lan Zi said while driving.

Xu Xia pouted, ”What’s all this nonsense? You people have such dirty minds.”

”I also think he’s good, handsome, gentlemanly and a successful person, isn’t that an ideal boyfriend?!” Xiao Gao looked at Xu Xia with envy, ”Didn’t you notice the way he looked at you? I’m telling you, based on my experience, this guy is interested in you.”

”Oh please, we just met twice, what’s there to it,” Xu Xia replied indifferently.

”What’s that saying, ’If there’s a bond, you’ll meet even across a thousand miles,’ you traveled all the way from Beijing to the United States, happened to encounter a robbery, and he just happened to pass by, a hero saving the damsel in distress, and in such a big city, his car happened to hit ours, what do you call that?” Xiao Gao patted Xu Xia’s arm, ”That’s fate, dear!”

”Oh, go away.” Xu Xia rolled her eyes at her, turned her face to look at the street outside the window, but couldn’t help the image of Tang Ming’s gentle kiss on her hand flashing across her mind, leaving her a bit dazed.

After having a simple lunch, Xu Xia continued her music course. When the class ended, they returned to the hotel, and it was already dusk with the lights on.

Just as she entered the hotel room, her phone rang.

On the screen, an unfamiliar number.

”Hello?” Xu Xia answered the phone doubtfully, and immediately Tang Ming’s warm and elegant voice came through, ”Miss Luo, this is Tang Ming, I hope I’m not disturbing you.”

”No... of course not,” Xu Xia hastily replied.

”Then, I’ll pick you up in half an hour?”

”Okay.”

”See you soon.”

After hanging up the phone, Xu Xia stood stunned for a moment, then hurried to the hallway, pulled out her suitcase, and frowned at the casual clothes inside.

Since she came here for training and auditioning, she didn’t prepare any formal wear. Was she supposed to wear casual clothes to the appointment?!

While worrying over her suitcase, a knock sounded at the door.

”Coming.” She jogged over and opened the door, only to see a hotel attendant standing outside, holding a big box, ”Miss Xu, this is for you, please sign.”

Xu Xia signed the receipt, gave a tip, and took the box back to the room with curiosity. Opening it, she found several boxes inside. She opened each one with puzzlement.

The largest box contained a beautiful beige evening gown, the other boxes held matching shoes, a clutch bag, and the smallest box contained a set of matching necklace and earrings.

On top of the evening gown, there was a small card.

She picked up the card, puzzled, and saw a line of Chinese characters.

”The clothes fit well; I really like them. I hope you like these too. Tang Ming.”
