After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 479: Chapter 482 The Difference Between Men [7]

His fingers grazed her earlobe as if by accident, and although it was just the warmth of his palm, it felt as hot as fire.

His breath brushed over her hair, teasing her sensitive nerves like a curious finger.

Luo Xiaoqian’s body curled up tighter and tighter, her heart nearly leaping out, yet she remained defiant.

”I, Luo Xiaoqian, will not be swayed by poverty or subdued by power. I’ll never bow to evil forces. If I say I won’t cry out, I won’t!”

”Fine, you’ve forced my hand!”

Leng Zimo retracted his body and unfastened his seatbelt.

”You...” Luo Xiaoqian turned her face to watch him unfasten his seatbelt, ”What... what are you going to do?”

He looked up, his gaze sultrily glancing at her, and said in a domineering tone, ”If you don’t obey, you must be punished. If you won’t cry out, then I have no choice... on-the-spot justice!”

On-the-spot justice? Here?

Luo Xiaoqian glanced around; this was a main road, and although not many cars were passing by, there were still people around.

Is this guy serious?!

Watching him push the car door open and prepare to step out, she hurriedly grabbed his arm.

”Hehe, Zimo... I’m so hungry. Let’s go get something to eat, shall we?”

”We can eat after we finish here, no rush.” He was unmoved and stretched one leg outside.

”Zimo...” She swung his arm, repeatedly calling the two syllables in a sing-song voice.

He continued to ignore her, stretching his other leg out as well.

”Husband, dear husband, the best and most handsome husband in the world...” she clung to his arm, ”Can we go now?”

Leng Zimo turned his face toward her and looked at her adorable face, ”No!”

Luo Xiaoqian’s face was full of disbelief, ”Why?”

She was being compliant, yet he still wanted to punish her?!

Leng Zimo finally couldn’t help but laugh, ”I just heard the car’s chassis scrape a bit, I need to check if there’s any damage to the car.”

Seeing the smile on his face, Luo Xiaoqian instantly understood; he was doing it on purpose!

She pulled back her arm and angrily called out his name.

”Leng Zimo!”

Already outside the car, Leng Zimo leaned on the car door with a smile and looked at her, ”I think I should remind you, you just called me by the wrong name again, so there will still be a punishment tonight!”

Luo Xiaoqian made a face at him and unbuckled her seatbelt to join him.

After Leng Zimo thoroughly checked the car and found nothing amiss, he restarted the vehicle and drove with her into the Qingdao downtown area.

The two headed to the hotel where he was staying. Luo Xiaoqian went to take a shower, and Leng Zimo ordered dinner.

By the time she was finished with her shower and had put on the bathrobe he had prepared for her, a steaming dinner was already set out on the dining table in the suite’s living room.

The two dined across from each other, with Leng Zimo occasionally picking food for her while his gaze lingered on her face several times.

”Is there something on my face?” Luo Xiaoqian touched her face, puzzled.

Setting down his chopsticks, Leng Zimo spoke in all seriousness, ”I’m just thinking where to begin later on!”

Luo Xiaoqian’s ears turned red, and she bowed her head to mutter, ”Rogue!”

Standing up and coming over, he stopped in front of her, ”You seem to be full, aren’t you?!”

”Not yet...”

She reached out for the chopsticks, but he had already swept her up from the chair, and in the next moment, she was laid upon the bed in the bedroom.

Then, his lips touched down—not on hers, but on her forehead.

Pulling the thin blanket over her, Leng Zimo tenderly touched her small face, ”I must get the land development plan out as soon as possible. Be good, sleep by yourself tonight!”
