Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 247: Chapter 246:White Hell...

The feeling of death, true death, lasted but a moment, an instant too quick for most to even feel, yet it left a lasting impression..

The world glitched, and my figure was made whole once more.

”Haa... Haa... haaa...” my breathing came out haggard and heaving...

It had cost me my body and an ungodly amount of energy, but that crimson fog was finally gone.

”Damn...”

My energy tank was running on empty.

What I thought was an absurd amount of energy, had just been reduced so drastically in a span of mere seconds....

My face went grim as I slowly stood back up...

”Impressive. To think you could actually stop that, your ability to not die, keeps on surprising me.” The old man spoke up, voice flat..

.....

...

”What? What happened to the confidence from earlier when you asked for a spar?” The old man continued after I refused to answer, ”don’t tell me that’s all you’ve got?”

”Heh!” I grinned.

”Old man, I’ve gotta give it to you, that was one hell of an experience, I’ll remember that.” I cranked my neck a few times, eyes checking my energy bar...

Seeing the numbers, my smile widened...

”But, if you think that’s all I’ve got, then you’re sorely mistaken.....”

”Purgatory Series....”

The world stilled, almost as if reality was catching its breath...

”White hell....”

......

The moment the words left Dante’s mouth, silence fell upon the entire place...

”Hmmm?” Valen was the first to react..

”Is it getting hot?” He murmured quietly...

.....

”Hey.... Why does it feel hotter all of a sudden..” Dakota, having calmed down from her state earlier, finally noticed the strange situation..

”Damn... you’re right! And it seems to be increasing..” the large Tian muttered, pulling at the collar of his hoody..

”This... Dante.” Raven’s voice successfully pulled their attention back to the spar still ongoing, and their eyes widened at what they saw...

...

White....

That’s all I saw.

The moment I uttered those words, the world went blank, before I found myself in a forge of burning flames.

I had created this phase during my seclusion, but this would be my first time invoking fire at 100% comprehension..

Blue, red, yellow, pink... flames of all colors, some were hot, others were cold, yet I felt a distinct connection to each of them, almost like I could reach out and..

”Come...”

FWOOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The world ignited in a swirling inferno, as flames of all colors appeared spontaneously, burning so hot the floor melted instantly.

The temperature rising to levels that felt less physical and more conceptual...

”This...” I could hear the old man’s stupefied voice, but I wasn’t paying attention at the moment.

I had entered a trance like state.

All I could see was fire.

All I could hear was fire.

All I wanted to be... ”is fire...”

Tsss... tssss... tsssss

The moment the thought left my lips, a spark ignited around me before,

Fwoooooshhhhhh!!!!!!

I was engulfed by a barrage of flames....

My hair vanished, becoming living tongues of flame.

My eyes became a pool of multicolored madness...

My lower body became nothing but a shroud of fire, my skin taking on cracks with liquid magma flowing through them...

A runic sigil of burning flames became engraved on my back as I became the living embodiment of the flames..

I could feel it..

The flames..

They were becoming one with me..

I could hear their voices..

I could feel their soul...

”Perfected law state....” The old man’s disbelieving voice rang out...

My eyes finally opened as they landed on the shocked expression apparent on the old man...

”Ha..haha...hahahahahahahahahahaha....” He laughed.

A hand covering his face as he laughed, wild, crazily..

”Regulus, oh, regulus, just what the hell did you give birth to?” I could hear the pure disbelief in his voice.

”Heh! Old man..”

My voice didn’t sound like my voice.

It came out layered.

Like multiple entities were speaking at the same time...

”It’s to early to be shocked...”

”What do you....”

Before the old man could finish his words, I added the sweet cherry on this cake I was cooking....

”Paradox....”

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

An explosion of epic proportions sounded out as the flames that were already burning at conceptual temperatures, soared even higher, the very fabric of space itself began melting at the horrifying degrees the flames were reaching....

The flames around me burned hotter and hotter, their colors changing, until they became a pure white...

My flaming hair, flaming lower body, all became pure white..

Yet when the old man thought it was over, the true horror of the ability Paradox kicked in...

........

:

The Third Phase of the Purgatory Series.

A paradoxical domain where white hellfire and absolute cold coexist.

All surrounding heat is forcibly drawn into the domain, causing simultaneous thermal amplification and thermal extinction.

At its center, a Paradox Singularity is formed through the convergence of Heat, Soul, Collapse, and Inevitability.

Those designated by the user are subjected to unavoidable spiritual and existential destruction.

Law Principle:

The designated end shall arrive

.....

The world fractured.

To the left, white flames bloomed without orange or red, pure and merciless. They did not burn the air so much as erase its definition, space unraveling where they passed.

To the right, heat ceased to exist.

Not cold.

Absence.

A frozen expanse formed in an instant, matter locking into stillness so absolute it rejected motion itself.

Between them, reality could not decide what it was meant to be.

And so it stopped trying.

Above me, the two extremes collided.

Not mixing.

Not clashing.

Converging.

A swirling collapse of contradiction formed in the sky, twisting into a silent singularity where heat and absence cancelled each other out.

Everything it touched ceased to continue existing as anything at all.

Not destroyed.

Not frozen.

Undone.

The space around me no longer held meaning.

Only the singularity remained.

Pulling.

Consuming.

Deciding.

I looked up, blazing eyes meeting the disbelieving face of the old man.

It seemed he had forgotten to put on his mask of indifference this time around...

”What do you think, old man? Are you satisfied?” I couldn’t help asking, a sudden feeling of delight welling up within me as I saw his expression morph from disbelief into reluctant acceptance, and then..

”Good...” he answered, hands gripping his blade as his aura deepened...

”Now, let’s see if you’re as capable as you look...”

Before his words could be completed, he was already face first before the massive singularity behind me...

”Get over here!!!”

The fight had just begun, and I’d be damned if I didn’t make this old man sweat....
