Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 239: Chapter 238:Five days..

I just stared at the ridiculousness of what I’d read..

”The failure of existence to remain whole” just this line alone was scary enough to make anyone understand that this wasn’t a law one should be messing around with...

”I’m suddenly glad I didn’t get ahead of myself...” I wiped a trace of imaginary sweat from my forehead.

Things could’ve gone horribly wrong if I’d messed around with this law and touched something I shouldn’t have...

”But..” I grinned...

”This is good... this is very good.” A slow maniacal laughter bubbled up within me as, ”HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....” I let it out..

Excitement and thrill washing through my entire body...

I had thought I was wasting time comprehending laws all this time, after seeing what my physical stats could do by themselves.

But now, seeing the ridiculousness of both Despair and Collapse, that notion was wiped out completely..

I’d already experienced the tip of what a Supreme law could do, with my Timeless series being one of my most dangerous abilities, and that was with barely any understanding of the law itself.

With Collapse I had accidentally deleted two S and SS-rank beings from existence with a casual tap, and that was when I had no idea what I was doing...

”Heh.. I guess it’s time for my seclusion montage isn’t it?” I smirked.

I’ve been casual about these laws for the longest time, and this was still the result, now could you imagine what would happen if I put in the work in trying to actually comprehend them?

”No need to imagine. We’ll see soon enough..” I picked up my device..

Click...

”Hellooo~~~” Melissa’s beautiful voice drifted over...

”Hey... Khalifa, put that shirt down, that’s mine!”

”Hah!! You snooze you lose!”

”Hey, umm.. Cara? What are you doing?”

”Just leave that one, she’s a lost cause, I suggest you take your picks before these girls raid it all..”

The chaotic voices of the girls overlapped as one conversation after the other drifted into my ears, a vivid scene of chaos being painted in my head...

”Hey.. ummm D, can you be fast? These bitches are about to take my stuff... HEY!!! KHALIFA. I SWEAR I’LL BURN DOWN YOUR PANTY COLLECTION IF YOU TOUCH THOSE!!!”

I just stared at my communication device like it had stolen my money..

”Umm D, hurry!! These bitches are teaming up...”

I shook my head, deciding not to get involved in whatever chaos they were brewing..

I might have a title that called me SON OF CHAOS but this brand of chaos is one I want no part of, so,

”Mel, I’ll be unavailable for a while..” the commotion on the end ceased instantly...

”Hmm? Something wrong?” I asked, noticing the place had gone quiet..

”Did something happen, D?” Melissa asked, voice half worried half threatening.

I smiled, ”you don’t need to worry my love, I’m merely going into a secluded training for a while.” The moment my words came out, the chaos on the other side resumed like it never stopped.

I shook my head, heart warming up..

”Alright then D, how long will you be gone?”

”I don’t know for sure, this is my first time doing shit like this, so I guess it’s till whenever I get the feeling of being done.” I shrugged, after all, my last ”secluded training” involved spending 80% of that time deep within either Melissa or Cara.

This would be my first true secluded training session, I was kind of excited, now I was feeling like an actual protagonist, I mean, I hadn’t gotten an auction arc where I met a bombshell auctioneer, but I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with a training session..

”Alright then D, leave the door open, that way we can check on you.”

”I don’t really feel safe leaving myself exposed to you girls, I don’t trust you guys enough to not feel like I’ll be sexually assaulted in one way or the other.”

”DANTE!”

”Hey, don’t give me that, with Kaila in the mix, I don’t trust you guys for anything.”

”HEY! I didn’t even do anything!” Kaila’s voice drifted over the call.

”You didn’t do anything... Yet.” I retorted..

”Fufufufufu....” The mischievous woman merely giggled, seemingly resuming whatever she was doing earlier..

”Well, it doesn’t matter if you trust us or not, you’re leaving the door open, either that or I open it myself, you choose.”

”That sounds like a threat.”

”You can take it however you want...” she drawled.

I sighed.

Fighting SSS-rank juiced up demonic monkeys, abominations that wielded a law that could destabilize your very foundation, or any other monstrosity out there, felt significantly easier than dealing with Five ravishing demons in human flesh...

”Alright, Mel, you win..”

”Hehehehehe....”

”I’ll be going now, see you girls in a few days..”

”Alright,D. Have a wonderful session.”

”Oh, I plan on it.” I cut off the call.

”Alright then, let’s see just how much damage we can do with you, shall we?” I smirked, sitting cross legged, eyes closing softly as...

[DING!]

[Chaotic comprehension is activating....]

I lost myself, my consciousness getting pulled into that wonderful state of selflessness once more....

....

...

Within a massive room, the lights had been dimmed, a circular oakwood table sat in the middle of the room.

Five seats having been set up around the table.

”They failed.” A voice echoed through the dim room, the speaker being a man with Dark black hair, a handsome face, and sinister looking eyes..

”What happened.” The figure at the head of the table spoke.

It was a shadowy figure whose facial expressions were shadowed by darkness, but from his posture it was clear it was a man.

”The prince was with them.” The black haired man spoke up..

”What? I thought that annoying creature was under the academy’s surveillance?” A shocked voice sounded out, the speaker being the only woman in the room, a blonde haired, pointy eared beauty, her golden eyes searched those of the black haired man for any form of deceit.

”Heh! Not minding the personal strength of that bastard, You truly believe the academy could put a leash on that bastard? When he’s that man’s son? Please, Eclisia, let’s not be foolish.” The dark haired main sneered..

”Damien, I’ll advice you to not insult me, I am not one of your pathetic subordinates..” the blonde haired elf flared, eyes narrowing dangerously...

”ENOUGH!” Before the fight could spiral, the shadowy figure silenced them.

”Continue,” it demanded..

”Humph.” The elf scoffed as she turned away.

”The prince as expected, silenced them with little to no effort, we had miscalculated, but it won’t happen again, I assure you.” The black haired man, Damien Von Draken, addressed the shadowy figure respectfully..

”Heh! Interesting.. very interesting..” the figure merely laughed in disdain..

”So, what next.” A voice rumbled through the entire room, the speaker being a massive figure with multicolored draconic horns curling majestically on his head.

”Now, little lizard, we wait and see what move the ants make, I’m curious, the father was interesting, but now the son is proving just as interesting, what a delightful surprise, hahahahahahaha..” the shadowy figure laughed, genuinely pleased...

”Alright, this meeting is adjourned, go back to your places and wait, should anything arise, you shall be informed accordingly..” the figure vanished from his seat the moment he was done speaking..

”Heh! Still as arrogant as ever, little piece of shit.” A sneering voice sounded out..

”You will watch your tone, asmodeus.” Damien flared.

”Or what? You think I fear you? You, who has jeopardized my entire life with your petty jealousy? I have half the mind to kill you myself you snake.” The voice flared..

”Do not play this game with me, you hated that bastard just as much, you took the chance, and now, you dare pin it on me? Heh! I should have a word with the sir that just left, tell him you’re acting up again, let’s see what you do then.” Damien sneered.

”Heh! The little Draken only knows how to run to his masters, pathetic.” The large man with the horns scoffed, his figure disappearing.

”Spineless coward, you bring shame to all the ancient families out there.” The blonde haired elf sneered, her figure also disappearing..

”I’m the demon, yet somehow I still find your methods distasteful, I hope your foolishness doesn’t get me killed, for I promise you, even I the afterlife, I shall haunt you.” The voice of the one called asmodeus vanished along with his presence, as he left one last threat.

Damien just sat there, face twisted in pure rage.

”THOSE BASTARDS!!!!!!”

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!

”They dare look down on me! All of them! I’ll make them pay, I swear it!”

His eyes glowed in a maddened light as he gritted his teeth, his figure also disappearing from the room, silence reigning in the dark space once more, no one the wiser of the meeting that had just taken place...

....

....

Five days later...

I opened my eyes slowly, light finally returning to my world, the first thing I saw being..

”Heh! You know, you actually look good when you’re not doing anything.”

”Haa... of course.” I wasn’t even surprised, I had expected it.

”It seems you’re finally done, now, come see me.”

”Haaa.. grumpy old man, can’t even let me catch a break.” I smiled as I shook my head, raising Khalifa from my body as I stood up, eyes settling on the display before me..
