”What are you doing?” I asked as I stared at the face that had popped into my vision the moment I opened my eyes...

”Heh! You know, you actually look good when you’re not doing anything.” Khalifa scoffed, perched comfortably on my body..

”Haa... of course.” I wasn’t even surprised at this point, I had expected it already..

”I always look good, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing.” I scoffed, raising her figure from my body as I stood up, bones crackling audibly..

”Ahh.... Yes...” giving my body a well needed stretch.

”It seems you’re finally done, now, come see me.”

”Grumpy old man, couldn’t even let me catch a break?” At this point, I was past the stage where I got surprised by the old man’s voice popping up spontaneously in my head, so, I just shook my head then focused on the issue at hand as my eyes finally landed on the blinking notification before me..

Yes, that’s right.

Most of the Major laws I comprehended had reached perfection, now what that meant, I’m still figuring out.

And as for the Supreme laws themselves , most of the ones I’d comprehended had already gone past the rudimentary stage, with them sitting comfortably in the entry, or resonance stage, only Death, Space, and Life, seemed to be moving at a crawling pace.

But it was understandable,Death required a place steeped in, well, death, and life, I don’t even know how I was supposed to begin that, but if despair and hope were anything to go by, then I might be able to bypass my way through, as for space, the image of my ravishing aunt v flashed through my mind.

”Seems I’ll be needing her help.” I smiled, suddenly eager to see my lovely aunt.

Collapse had already reached the Embodiment stage, keeping it as my most powerful Supreme law.

Now, what it meant to embody collapse itself, I myself still do not know, it would need testing and luckily enough, I already had someone in mind to help with that.

I smiled, satisfied.

”Why are you grinning like that?”

”It’s none of your business, now where are the others?” I asked, looking around.

”It’s my turn to take watch today so they are all out.” She folded her arms under her chest, my eyes inevitably being drawn in.

”Bastard! Stop looking at them.”

”Then stop making gestures that are inviting me to look.”

”Why I outta...”

”Hey, why were you even ontop of me earlier?” I asked, curious.

”Well, Kaila said it’s the best way to make sure you’re safe, I can react instantly should anything happen.”

”Haa... of course she did.” I groaned.

”And you just believed her?”

”Well the other girls seemed to mirror her thoughts so I believed there was nothing wrong with it. Why?”

”Nothing. It’s just, I suddenly feel worried for you, you might want to consider finding yourself a new group of friends.” I shook my head in amusement..

”Why do I suddenly feel like you’re making fun of me?”

”It’s your imagination.”

....

”So, how was your training?” Khalifa asked as she helped place more plates of food on the table, a mountain of empty dishes already piling on the side.

”It wasssh fruitpul..”

”Eww. Stop talking with your mouth full.”

”Blergh...”

”Fuck!”

”Hahahahahahaha....”

.....

”Haaa... that hit the spot.” I sighed in satisfaction, patting my bloated stomach..

”What the hell are you? The son of gluttony??” Khalifa seemed genuinely disturbed as she gave me nasty looks, her face paling slightly at the inhuman number of dishes I’d emptied out..

”I’ve been stuck in one room for five whole days, you should be glad I only ate this much, I would’ve emptied out the rest if I could.”

”The.. the rest?? THE REST???? Which REST?? You ate the whole goddamn thing!!! You fucking glutton, food meant to last at least a whole week, for Five people, you ate everything.. even... even my sweet sponge cakes..” she was almost weeping at the end...

”Uhh.. haha...” I could only laugh awkwardly, scratching the back of my head in slight embarrassment...

”You know what? That’s it!” She suddenly stood up, eyes glaring as she looked at me..

”Since you ate it all, you’re definitely washing all these dishes.”

”Wha..what?” I looked at the mountain of dishes, then back at Khalifa.

Dishes.

Khalifa.

”There’s no way in hell am I doing that shit.”

”Oh, believe me, you definitely are. Want to be a glutton? You’ll have to work for it.”

”Oh is that so... HEY! look!, a flying cheese cake.”

”Huh? WHERE!?”

”Byeeeeee~~~~” instant transmission immediately took me away from that hellish place, leaving behind a furious Khalifa...

”DANTEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!”

....

I appeared within the forest area outside valen’s little cottage, figure crouched, breathing heavy..

”Hooo... fuck, that was close...” I muttered, shuddering at the thought of having to wash all those dishes..

In a world where magic and supernatural abilities were a norm, someone please explain to me why one still had to do dishes? That cursed chore seemed impossible to get rid of.

”Now, let’s go meet that old man before he starts tweaking again.” I stood, regaining my posture, as I turned, eyes scanning the surroundings, searching for the figure of the cranky old man, only for me to freeze on the spot as my eyes settled on...her...

”Fufufufu... I quite like that look on your face..”

”Wha.. what? How?” I blinked, thinking my eyes were deceiving me, because there was no way she could be here, not when I was just thinking about her..

”Hehe.. well, surpise~~~~ I take it from your expression, that you’re happy to see me?” She walked towards me, hips swaying hypnotically, her hands wrapped around my neck as her black jeweled eyes stared deep into my wide golden ones..

”So, are you just going to stand there frozen, or are you going to kiss me?”

I finally regained myself, a warm smile appearing on my face...

”Aunt V.....”
