Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 228: Chapter 227:What I want, is to rip that monkey’s head off

The stare down between the two lasted a whole second, before Malachi moved.

BOOM!

The earth exploded as he launched forward, staff swinging with air splitting might as he brought it down on Conan’s head.

The dark crimson monkey didn’t bother dodging, he merely balled his fists and then...

CLANGGGGGGG!!!!!!

The sound of metal clashing against metal rang out as the figure of Malachi was sent flying...

”Come now, little stoneborn, you can do better.” Conan’s indifferent voice echoed on the battlefield.

Malachi’s flying figure righted itself midair before the monkey crouched,

BOOM!

Again, his figure exploded into action, his staff gripped firmly as he opened his mouth, ”Storm Ape Rampage!” And his form became a blur...

BANG!!!!

A devastating strike landed clean on the head of the dark crimson 35-foot behemoth, yet before it could react,

BANG!!!

Another clean hit, right at the back of its head.

BANG!!!

Then another.

And another.

One hit at a time, Malachi’s figure rained carnage on Conan, each hit becoming stronger, more deadly than the last, as the massive ape became caught in a storm of attacks, its figure retreating....

”DIEEEEEE!!!!!!!” Malachi roared, gathering strength into his staff as he unleashed a final devastating blow..

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

A cloud of dust rose to the skies as the monkey huffed, a stream of smoke blowing out his nostrils, yet when the dust cleared...

Malachi’s pupils narrowed violently, an expression of disbelief on his monstrous face..

”Now. That, is something else..” I couldn’t help whispering, an eyebrow raised in intrigue..

”I told you so...”

Standing there, with Malachi’s staff clean on his head, was Conan, the massive ape looking indifferent, with no damage whatsoever having been inflicted on his body...

”That was quite something, little stoneborn, though futile it has proven.” Conan’s apathetic voice resounded in the sudden silence.

”I guess,” he clenched his fist, the air exploding just from the act, ”it’s my turn now.”

BOOOM!!!

One punch.

That’s all it took.

One punch for Malachi’s figure to be sent flying into the distance, bones shattering to dust..

”No, no, little stoneborn, we’re not done, not even close.” The monkey muttered, taking a single step, as his figure vanished, reappearing miles away, right behind Malachi’s still reeling figure.

”I need you to feel.” Conan raised another fist...

”Feel the difference between us!!!”

BOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!

Another cataclysmic punch connected with Malachi’s body as an audible CRACKKKKK!!!!!

Sounded out, his form once more vanishing from sight, the blow too powerful, too packed..

”Little stoneborn, let me show you what a true monkey king looks like.” Conan’s emotionless voice rang out right beside the semi-conscious figure of Malachi as he grabbed the large crimson simian by his head, and then..

BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

Drove his head into the ground..

A crater forming from the collision...

”Ahhh.....” Conan sighed in satisfaction as he stood, bones creaking..

”This, little stoneborn, is why I shall become..” he never got to finish that statement as,

”CELESTIAL STAFF- THOUSAND MOUNTAIN BURIAL!!!!!!!”

A thunderous voice resonated through the skies, the image of a massive reddened staff descending violently....

”Huh?” Conan raised his head in surprise, just in time for..

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

The strike to connect, an explosion like that of a comet landing on the earth going off...

But it wasn’t over..

BOOOOOMM!!!!

BOOOOOMMMM!!!

Multiple impact zones spawned around the central impact zone as they all erupted at once, turning a kilometer of land into nothing but devastation and carnage...

WOOOSHHH!!!!!

Malachi’s figure flew out of the dust cloud as he came to stand a distance away from the point of impact...

A heavy silence filled the place as the dust slowly cleared.....

Drip!

Drip!

”Ohh? That’s, impressive. Heh, seems I underestimated the monkey.” Leo’s surprised voice sounded out.

”Heh. Don’t play with my monkey you chicken brain, no way is he going down without a fight.” I laughed, a sudden feeling of pride welling up within me, because.

There, standing in the middle of a ruined landscape, was Conan.

Only this time, the ape wasn’t in the same pristine shape as before.

Drip!

Drip!

The sound of blood dropping to the floor echoed loudly in the eerie quiet..

”You...” Conan’s disbelieving voice sounded out as he brought his large hand to his head, bringing the palm to his eyes as he saw it.

Blood..

A dark, almost black, blood had stained the large ape’s hand..

”You...” the ape couldn’t even speak, disbelieving the fact that Malachi had cracked open his skull like a coconut..

”Heh! A poser will always be a poser, you have desecrated the traditions of our ancestors, spat on the name of the numerous monkey clans out there, and yet, you still remain an incomplete fake.” Malachi’s mocking voice sounded loud and true.

”You, are nothing but an abomination, a disgrace, and I, I shall make it my sole duty to see this disgrace be wiped out from the face of this earth, you shall soil my ancestor’s names no longer!” The monkey raised his massive staff, another true clone appearing beside him as he got ready.

”Damn. Now he gets good at speeches? Preach monkey.” I shook my head.

”Heh! I wouldn’t get excited too early, the fight is not over.” Leo snickered, yet before I could ask another question...

GRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

A maddened rage filled roar shook the land for miles away, clouds churning just from the sound as the earth exploded like a landmine had gone off....

”YOU FILTHY MONKEY!!!!!!! YOU DARE INJURE ME!!!!!!!!” Conan roared furiously as the full weight of his SSS-rank aura pressed down on the entire plains, the secret realm trembling..

”YOU. WILL. PAY!!!!!” My pupils narrowed dangerously, ”oh. No.”

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Malachi didn’t even know what hit him.

One moment he was getting ready to fight.

The next he had shattered a mountain into debris, his clone long nowhere to be found....

”DIE!!!!” Conan roared in madness....

BOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

Another mountain being sent to mountain heaven as he drove Malachi’s figure through it, the monkey barely reacting....

CRACCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!

The sounds of the earth being torn apart rang out as Conan drove Malachi deep into the earth, burying the monkey under pile and pile of dirt, audible booms! Sounding from underground as the massive ape didn’t relent, his punishment continuing even down below...

BOOOOOMMMM!!!

The earth exploded upwards as Malachi’s bleeding and broken figure burst out, the massive Conan right above him...

”DIEEEEEEE!!!!!” Bringing both hands together, the massive ape brought them down in catastrophic impact...

THOOOOOOM.... BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM...

Malachi’s body was launched like a comet, as he made contact with the earth, causing fissures to spread like wounds through the earth..

”You...”

BANG!!!!!!

A devastating kick connected with the side of the furious ape’s head, sending it careening backwards..

The ape righted itself, as its gaze focused on the culprit behind the attack...

.....

The moment I sent the ape flying, my figure appeared before the devastated form of Malachi, a bright green light appearing on my palm as I placed them on the monkey’s body, eager to stop the life from literally flowing out him..

Grab!!

”Don’t.. need... blerghhh!!!!” The monkey grabbed my arm, trying to stand..

”Don’t talk you stupid monkey, and let me patch you up!” I scolded,

”Can’t. Must.... Complete.. inheritance...”

”Are you dumb? That thing will kill you!”

”Tradition.... Must.. complete.. blerghhhhh!!!!!”

”Fuck!!” I yelled in frustration, doubling my efforts, finally stabilizing the monkey’s condition...

”Dante... I need.”

”Shut it. You’re done!” I scolded.

”But.”

”But nothing. I said you’re done, that’s final.”

”The inheritance.. I can’t let that traitor take it.”

”Then.. let me tag in for a moment...”

”What?”

”What do you mean what? You think I’ll let you get yourself killed for nothing? You think I’ll be able to look auntie in the eye after that? Knowing I could help and didn’t?”

”But...”

”But what? I’m not a monkey? Well, fuck that!” I stood up, dusting off my hands.

”I don’t need to be a fucking monkey, I’m Dante motherfucking Draven, I do what I want, when I want.”

”And right now.” My eyes found the still figure of the large ape that was currently watching everything unfold indifferently..

”Right now, what I want, is to rip that monkey’s head off...”
