Warhammer Divine Throne

”Yes, I understand now, I will follow your instructions, my Lady.” Laine scratched his head a bit sheepishly, he had been a bit presumptuous. Facing his beloved wife, the husband readily admitted his mistake: ”I didn’t consider things carefully, I’ll go talk to them.”

The couple tenderly embraced and kissed on the large bed for a while, before Laine let go of Surya, whose face was now flushed red, and left the bedroom. The lady knight, feeling somewhat uncomfortable, rubbed her beautiful legs clad in black silk, re-buttoning the front of her dress before proudly raising her head.

What does it matter if he’s a human hero or the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lady?

Isn’t he still completely captivated by her?

After thinking for a while, the lady knight’s face turned red again. She pressed her abdomen, recalling the Lake Fairy had urged her to bear a child with Laine as an heir, their child would certainly be healthy and strong.

The Lady... must be fond of Laine too, right? So why not together? The lady knight’s mind kept wandering. Since the age of three, she had been the most devout follower of the Lake Fairy and after being possessed several times during their honeymoon, Surya had become very willing to share her husband with the Lady.

Need to find an opportunity...

Fifteen minutes later, Laine returned. He told Surya that Teresa and Veronica were busy continuing their magic studies, taking advantage of Tygris’s guidance before his departure, and the two witches had no time to go hunting with Laine.

”Then let’s set off.” Laine said to Surya.

”Hmm... Sylvia? Henderson, the steward?” Surya began instructing her maid and her steward, preparing to depart to meet with the Emperor.

...

The first day of the Winter Festival holiday in the Old World, Empire, Rick Territory, Rickward Forest.

The bright and snow-covered Rickward Forest was considered a safe forest within the Empire, but deep in the forest, there were still many bandits, beastmen, and remnants of Vampire Castles left by the two generations of Vampire Counts, Vlad von Castain and Manfred von Castain, during the Vampire War, which reportedly still house some undead creatures.

Laine rode his Pure-blooded Elf Warhorse Grapes, Surya rode her Pure-blooded Elf Warhorse Richter, the armored couple followed alongside Emperor Carl Franz.

Behind them were the Brunswick Royal Half-Griffin Knight Order and Griffin Great Swordsmen, along with Rick Guard and the new recruits of the Rick Guard, all sons of great nobles, joining the Emperor for hunting, which was also their chance to showcase.

Many of the great noble sons displayed signs of hangovers and paleness, evidently having indulged in the pleasures excessively during the Winter Festival.

Even the Emperor had, as Laine arrived at the designated location at ten in the morning only to find the Emperor hadn’t come yet. It wasn’t until ten forty-five, with sleep still on his face and yawning, that the Emperor finally showed up. During the rare holiday, Emperor Carl had slept until after ten.

The hunting process went smoothly, the Half-Griffin Knights and Rick Guard had previously cleared the forest, and Carl Franz and Laine quickly filled their horses with plenty of game: ”A bountiful harvest, Your Majesty.”

”Your harvest isn’t bad either.” Emperor Carl looked at the rabbit and two hares hanging behind Laine’s horse and laughed: ”Your horse is great.”

”???” Laine looked puzzled.

”If it were my horse, it wouldn’t be able to carry so much.” The Emperor continued trying to ask: ”Could it be possible...”

”Your Majesty, Brittania prohibits exporting Pure-blooded Elf Warhorses, it’s a national policy.” Laine blocked the Emperor’s request.

”Alright then...”

”Your Majesty, after the Winter Festival we will return to Brittania.”

”Not staying a bit longer?”

”No, we need to head back.”

”Which route do you plan to take?”

”We will take the land route from Bogenhaven to Hemgart, then to Axe Bite Pass.”
