Warhammer Divine Throne

”We need an alliance, but it’s not among humans, elves, and dwarves. Instead, it involves Your Majesty, Count Laine, and Lord Tygris.” At this moment, Great Alchemist Geld suddenly spoke, expressing his views with utmost sincerity: ”Everyone knows that Lord Tygris has deep connections with the Empire, but you have overlooked some important factors.”

”What insights do you have, my loyal Great Alchemist?” the Emperor said with a smile.

”The important factor is Count Glamorgan Laine Macado. You all know that the main reason Tygris arrived in the Old World wasn’t to establish some Bright Council, but to attend Count Laine’s wedding.” Geld said in a voice filled with metallic reverberation: ”This indicates that Count Laine’s status in Lord Tygris’s heart surpasses even that of the Empire.”

”Being able to kill Red Eye Egil Steelbeard, Laine is a capable person, but clearly, he harbors more secrets.” The Emperor calmly stated: ”The matter at the wedding, you all should be aware, right? Laine has seven brothers, real brothers.”

”These seven brothers are all demigods.” Umberto Prince-Elector said in a low voice: ”Although we don’t know the strength of these seven demigods, since the brothers are all demigods, then Count Laine in the future will definitely be a demigod! Perhaps even a True God!”

”His biological father must be a True God who entrusted his child to be raised by mortals.” Archbishop Vikma also said: ”Moreover, his biological father is certainly not the Evil God, this can still be trusted.”

Some demigods are very strong, while others are relatively weak. The exact power is difficult to say and varies from person to person. However, it’s acknowledged by all that Laine’s future will be incredibly powerful as a demigod. From his emergence to date, his numerous martial achievements are an unspoken secret regarding his promising future.

The wedding guests caused much speculation among various factions, but people rarely discuss openly. In this world, there are True Gods, and reckless gossip is easily detected by deities, inviting divine retribution.

”Count Laine’s future is not limited to this. How many years did it take him to rise and become a part of the Holy Sanctuary? Do not forget he is only thirty this year. Tygris is betting on him, and the two sides are evidently allied, so our Empire should also seize the opportunity to form an alliance with Count Laine. Whether the Bright Council’s proposal is reliable is unknown, but an alliance with a future demigod or even a True God is indeed very necessary!” Geld said righteously: ”Laine is a noble of Brittania; he cannot possibly infringe on your interests. And you all, think about it, if we have such a renowned and extraordinarily strong Divine Chosen Champion as our ally, how much more confidence could we have in combating evil?”

The eyes of everyone present brightened.

Indeed! No matter how strong Laine’s personal might is, he is ultimately a human, one of our kin. He will stand with us. Moreover, he is not just a noble of Brittania, but also the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lake Fairy!

This indicates that Laine is already tied to the Knight Kingdom across the mountains. It’s impossible for him to significantly impact the interests of the Imperial people!

This alliance is feasible!

Even Emperor Carl Franz found this proposal to be very feasible, and the Emperor himself suddenly smiled.

”That’s the reason I allowed Emmanuelle to stay by his side as a maid.”

”It’s a pity his marriage was arranged by the Lady of the Lake, otherwise...”
