Warhammer Divine Throne

It can only be said that his fame is too high now; the empire’s nobility is not foolish. In this dark and bloody world, fists are the hard truth; no part of the empire has been peaceful for long. Inheritance and selection among nobles highly emphasize military achievements. Laine’s reputation is known and understood by everyone in the empire, especially in the most prosperous and populous Rick Territory.

The women shopped and strolled down the streets, moving through the southern affluent district, first passing the circular road of the Justice Church Cathedral, and then going down the ”Riklan Road,” and crossing ”Oppen Street,” finally arriving at Rick Market along ”Heisen Street.”

There is a famous shop here called ”Bonn’s Little Bear.” It covers more than 200 square meters and sells all kinds of teddy bear plush toys and a famous bear-shaped juice gummy, as well as many luxurious royal supplies. When Laine brought Surya and the others to this shop, it was bustling with people; a huge signboard of a golden bear was emitting light with the help of Magic.

”Laine! Look at this, I really like it!”

”The teddy bear is so cute!”

”Is there still a teddy bear toy with this golden bear pattern?”

Surya, who loves teddy bear plush toys and bear patterns, couldn’t move her legs upon seeing this shop. The Lady Knight and the two Witches immediately rushed in and began a shopping spree. Laine allowed them to shop freely; he merely smiled and paid for the purchases without interfering. Surya bought many clothes with bear patterns, even ones for babies and children, to which Laine agreed.

After buying many things, Laine noticed the situation on the street outside the glass windows of the shop.

A unit of Rick Guard was passing by on the street, about dozens of riders; they swiftly moved along the street, with the emblem of the Iron Cross, skull, and laurel crown enough to make any guard and pedestrian avoid them.

The Imperial General leading the unit was Kurt Heilberg, who had recently achieved a major victory in the north. Just a few days ago, he was officially appointed by the Emperor as Marshal Rick. Clearly, he had just led the Rick Guards on a mission and was now on his way back to Rick Guard Castle.

Meanwhile, there were also many young people behind Kurt Heilberg. Each of these young people was dressed in splendid clothes, wearing outfits that most commoners couldn’t afford even with a year’s income. Whether beautiful or ugly, most of them sported neat little moustaches and well-groomed hair.

Laine noticed these young men, and they noticed him too.

”Rudolph, look, there’s a Holy Grail Knight! He’s watching us!” A young man with long brown hair and a silk outfit pointed at Laine behind the glass window.

Soon, this group of young men erupted into a lively discussion.

”Oh, I think I know who he is; he’s Duke Ivan’s godson, Laine! I know him. Knight Wagner, do you know him too?”

”No one in the empire doesn’t know Laine’s name. Baron Reiman, please be quiet,” a large noble said softly.

”Sir Theodricson, I remember you attended his wedding?” The large noble’s words did not quiet the young men but rather sparked a more significant discussion: ”Can you tell us the details?”

”Is that his wife? What a beauty!”

”Enough! New recruits!” The newly appointed Marshal Rick, Kurt Heilberg, spoke up; his long, bushy moustache trembled as he shouted angrily: ”This is not the place for you to chat idly! Your Majesty needs your swords!”

”Yes!”
