Warhammer Divine Throne

”...My Lady, I can’t believe you would come here.” Laine shrugged helplessly, feeling a bit displeased. The Lake Fairy interfered deeply in his private life, yet since the lady knight did not object, he couldn’t say much.

”I descended carefully to this place, thinking you would finish soon, but here you are taking an hour-long bath,” the Lake Fairy remarked oddly, giving Laine a stare. ”Didn’t you know I was waiting outside? If it weren’t for you channeling divine power for me, it would consume a massive amount of divine power just to descend for ten minutes.”

”I didn’t notice.” Laine placed Surya down on the bed, wrapping the lady knight in a robe, then holding her on his lap. ”Is there something you need, my Lady?”

The goddess shifted uncomfortably, revealing a bare jade-like foot beneath her long skirt. Her crystal pink little feet were painted with pink nail polish, adorned with iris petals. Taking advantage of the lady knight being robed and undressed, the Lake Fairy intensely watched Surya’s abdomen, as if trying to discern something.

Indeed, on the smooth, jade-like belly of the lady knight, there was an unusual, heart-shaped, beautiful pattern with golden threads surrounding a sharp sword and a complex ”I” pattern. The ”I” pattern and sword were each half gold and half silver, guarded in the middle by a silver ribbon, with silver wings surrounding the glowing sword. At this moment, the wings were still folded, with only a hint of opening.

Indeed, what he imprinted on Surya was different from what he had given other women, the Lake Fairy considered Laine’s imprint.

The divine chosen champion of the Lake Fairy’s was extremely mysterious. He came from beyond, an undeveloped ”god,” yet also a human with a bloodline so pure it’s flawless.

Besides his powerful bloodline talent, Laine was the only one in the world who could directly cast spells using subspace, not corrupted but able to dispel corruption.

What intrigued the Lake Fairy the most were the mysterious spirit rune imprints on the abdomens of Mogiana, Ollica, and that witch Veronica. These imprints penetrated the recipient’s soul, aiding them in resisting various corruption threats and maturing with increasing contact until the wings fully opened.

The spirit rune imprints on Surya’s abdomen were different from what she had previously glimpsed. What did this signify? Was it a special form of love from Laine, or an acknowledgment for the daughter-in-law from Laine’s father? Or perhaps a special gift of power from father to son?

This unique situation was something even with her vast knowledge, the Lake Fairy couldn’t understand, leaving her only to speculate.

”Lady?” Laine noticed the Lake Fairy’s gaze. He wrapped Surya tightly in the robe and impolitely said, ”What are you looking at? This is my wife, not yours, so you can’t look at her.”

”Laine~ don’t be like that.” Surya blushed deeply, yet the lady knight now had no strength. She could only lean weakly against her husband and gently said to the Lake Fairy, ”Lady, if you need anything, feel free to instruct, Laine and I will follow your will.”

”Laine, my champion, during your visit to the Empire this time, it would be best to establish an alliance with Emperor Carl Franz.” The Lake Fairy had to clear some thoughts from her mind. She gently caressed Surya’s delicate complexion and smiled, ”It will benefit our future plans.”

”Isn’t Brittania allied with the Empire, and aren’t we in mutual aid?” Laine was puzzled.

”That’s Brittania, not you.” The Lake Fairy shook her head, her fingers touched Surya’s forehead, divine power surged at her pale fingertips, and Surya began to recover from her fatigue. The pious lady knight immediately listened attentively to the Lake Fairy’s teachings, who said, ”What I want is you to form an alliance with Emperor Carl Franz, preferably a military alliance.”

”Why?” Laine inquired.

The alliance known as ”defensive alliance” ensures not only co-operation in battle but also that if one side is declared war upon, both sides will respond simultaneously.

A higher-level alliance is the ”military alliance,” simply summarized as ”advance and retreat together.” Once such a pact is signed, when the Empire declares war on any force, Laine must follow suit and declare war on that force.

The Empire and the Dwarves have such an alliance.

”It’s about you, it’s an agreement between you and Carl Franz, not between the Empire and Brittania!” Seeing Laine didn’t understand, the Lake Fairy reiterated.

Now Laine understood, ”You mean my Count’s Domain with Emperor Carl’s Rick Territory?”

”Exactly, my prophecy shows that in the coming few decades, Brittania will not face major invasions, but the Empire will.” The Lake Fairy said solemnly, ”This Old World’s most powerful human nation still faces many terrible trials, Laine, we cannot allow the Empire to fall. Carl Franz and his army are humanity’s hope, and we must work closely together to resist all threats from Chaos and the Green Skin.”

The Lake Fairy stood up, her beautiful figure swaying in the room. The goddess held the golden Holy Grail, the liquid inside swaying under her will, ”As the master of Charlemagne’s city, Carl Franz undeniably showcases his firm will and legitimacy over the Empire’s law. As the Emperor, he repeatedly uses the Divine Hammer ’Gail-Malaz’ to defeat enemies, proving to be an ally who understands the bigger picture and can be trusted.”
