Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2100: Chapter 2101: Three Transported Back in Time (Part 6)

However, seeing the wall that resembled glazed glass, she thought maybe she could break it to get out, so she picked up a stool and smashed it hard twice, only to find the wall was completely unchanged, extremely solid.

Then she abandoned the idea of getting out through that wall.

”This should be a room, why is there no door...” An Baobei continued searching for a latch, or a mechanism would also do.

An Baobei found a spot on the wall that looked somewhat like a door and noticed a handle. Unaware that the handle was the door lock and could be opened with a slight twist, she just pulled it as hard as she could to see if she could pull this ’door’ open. It turns out, she pulled so hard that the handle broke off.

She silently looked at the handle in her hand for two seconds before tossing it aside and moving to continue her search for an exit.

After searching for quite a while to no avail, she grew impatient, stopped searching, stood in the middle of the room, and shouted loudly, ”Is anyone there? Someone come, let me out!”

Her parents hadn’t seen her, certainly they were very anxious.

And what’s more, she didn’t know how her parents were, she was anxious too, eager to get out and find them.

Unfortunately, the room was very soundproof, and no matter how loud An Baobei shouted, people outside couldn’t hear.

When An Baobei had woken up in this room, the sun was already high, and now it had set, and she still hadn’t found an exit. Her stomach growled with hunger, making her feel dizzy, so An Baobei simply lay down on the big bed intending to sleep.

Only by sleeping, she wouldn’t feel hungry.

It took nearly an hour for An Baobei to fall asleep. After sleeping, An Baobei indeed felt much better.

Of course, it was also thanks to how soft the bed was, making An Baobei feel very comfortable lying on it.

At eight p.m., the villa’s owner, Ning Zihan, returned.

The housekeeper quickly approached as Ning Zihan arrived, took the suit jacket from Zihan’s hands, and respectfully asked, ”Young Master, would you like to have dinner?”

Ning Zihan, true to his name, exuded a chill all over, deterring anyone from getting close to him. Without saying a word to the housekeeper, he expressionlessly loosened the tie that had constrained him all day while heading upstairs.

Trailing behind Ning Zihan was Liang Youxu who answered with a gentle smile, ”The CEO has already eaten out.”

Liang Youxu was Ning Zihan’s assistant, officially titled as Ning Corporation’s Presidential Assistant.

Upon reaching upstairs, Liang Youxu did not follow Ning Zihan further, nor did Ning Zihan concern himself with Liang Youxu. Instead, upon reaching upstairs, he directly headed towards his room.

Once he opened the door and turned on the light, he noticed a bulge on the bed, causing him to frown.

Seeing the handle on the floor only deepened his frown.

Striding to the bedside, he swiftly pulled the quilt covering the ’bulge’, revealing inside a woman with scattered hair in ancient attire who had a sword-looking accessory at her waist. Not caring whether the woman looked young or not, he sneered, ”There are plenty of women who want to climb onto my bed, but you’re the first one who did so dressed in such thick clothing!”

Having the quilt pulled off, An Baobei groggily awoke, the light was too glaring, causing her to quickly shut her eyes, and after a while, she opened them again to see an oddly dressed man standing over her, sneering.

She immediately sneered back, ”Who wants to climb onto your bed, I’m trapped here starving! Besides, my body and hair are inherited from my parents, how can I harm them? Just look at your hair!”
