The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1582: Chapter 634: A Day Trip

”Boss, how about I take a picture for you?”

”No photos.”

”Then, can you help me take one?”

”Alright...”

Zhou Wang saw a glint in Sura’s eyes, clearly revealing her true intention. He couldn’t help but chuckle, taking her phone to snap a few pictures for her.

Standing against the backdrop of a palace with blue bricks and gray tiles, Sura, fully dolled up and looking charming, posed under the palace walls with a peace sign.

As Zhou Wang was taking photos, he realized the buildings were even lower than he imagined. He had no choice but to lower the camera, find a new angle, leaving part of the sky in the frame, and took a half-body shot for Sura.

Next to them, the self-proclaimed Korean cultural expert and private guide continued his enthusiastic commentary:

”Over the years, wars and natural disasters have destroyed and rebuilt Jingfu Palace multiple times. Later, only gray tiles were used instead of the palace’s unique yellow tiles...”

A low wall that I could flip over with one hand, and you call this a palace?

These days, Zhou Wang felt particularly inclined to mock everything.

It was already the second day, and under President Jin’s arrangements, Zhou Wang planned to have a day tour around Seoul.

After all, since he’s here, it’s worth experiencing the local customs and culture.

At this moment, they were at their first stop, Jingfu Palace.

Jingfu Palace is supposedly the main palace of the last unified dynasty on the peninsula, and one of Seoul’s most famous historical and cultural sites.

Yet, even though Zhou Wang had lowered his expectations, being here still felt like a waste of time.

Jingfu Palace covers about 50 hectares, less than one-tenth of the Forbidden City in Huaxia. Its style and layout mimic the specifications of the Great Ming Dynasty’s Prince Mansion, with plaques on the halls inscribed in Chinese characters, appearing very... simple.

Yes, regardless of how lavishly the private guide described Jingfu Palace’s history, Zhou Wang’s direct impression boiled down to these two words.

Only considering the ”expert’s” feelings, did he refrain from expressing it.

(Jingfu Palace main hall)

Upon reaching the main hall, Zhou Wang already wanted to head back, but since they were here, he allowed some time for Sura and Xu Wenqian to take photos.

As Zhou Wang was helping Sura, he suddenly noticed Xu Wenqian sneakily finding angles to take a selfie, trying to frame Zhou Wang within it as well.

Zhou Wang pretended not to see, finished helping Sura with her photos, then beckoned Xu Wenqian over.

”Give me the phone.”

Once Xu Wenqian approached, Zhou Wang picked up the phone, pulled her into his embrace, and took a selfie before she realized what was happening.

Afterwards, Zhou Wang playfully pinched Xu Wenqian’s smooth cheek, ”It’s just a group photo, no need to be sneaky about it.”

Xu Wenqian bashfully lowered her head, only checking the photo once Zhou Wang moved away.

Her expression wasn’t right, she didn’t even smile, which left Xu Wenqian a bit annoyed. But quickly, she thought of something and her lips curled up.

At this moment, Sura approached, astonished.

”Qianqian, look at the photos the boss took for me, I never expected his skills to be this good...”

Xu Wenqian glanced over and had to admit that the composition and angles of the photos Zhou Wang took were quite professional, outperforming 90% of guys—and with a bit of touch up, they were ready for posting on Moments.

”The boss is very knowledgeable. He says he’s read a lot of books.”

Xu Wenqian said earnestly.

?

Sura couldn’t quite grasp Xu Wenqian’s logic; after all, taking photos is a practical skill—what does it have to do with reading books?

However, knowing that Xu Wenqian is Zhou Wang’s number one fan in the company, Sura tactfully didn’t argue, instead peeking at Xu Wenqian’s phone... Xu Wenqian had already set the group photo as her screensaver.

”I don’t think this one’s great; how about I ask Mr. Zhou to take another photo for you guys?”

Sura suggested kindly.

But Xu Wenqian shook her head in refusal, ”That’s not necessary, this one is already perfect.”

Sura was a bit confused but said nothing more after noticing Zhou Wang and Xiao Wang had moved on ahead, hurriedly calling Xu Wenqian to catch up.

Xu Wenqian walked slowly behind, glanced once more at her new screensaver, and displayed a satisfied expression.

Sura wouldn’t understand...

As far as Xu Wenqian knew, even Jiang Qingkui didn’t have a group photo with Zhou Wang.

It’s not about the quality of the photo, but that... it’s truly unique!

...

After leaving Jingfu Palace, the group visited the nearby National Central Museum and National Modern Art Museum.

Thanks to ample funding, the museum directors and chief curators, speaking fluent Chinese, personally guided them through the museum treasures and special exhibitions.

The tour was rather uneventful, except for the subsequent ”Private Heritage Lesson,” where under the guidance of several expert artists and master craftsmen, they learned traditional Korean court embroidery techniques, folk paintings, Korean paper artworks, and more.

The girls in the group, including Xu Wenqian and Sura who each had assistants, were quite enthusiastic, while Zhou Wang initially showed interest but later felt a strange sense of familiarity.
