The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1565: Chapter 625: Unspoken Rules_2

After BlackPink was formed, she quickly rose to fame, acting as a relentless money-making machine for the company. The company wished she could work all 366 days a year, leaving no room for the rumors of ”sugar baby” scandals to ever touch her.

So yes, as Lisa rose through the ranks, she rarely encountered the so-called hidden rules. Even when some big figures showed interest in her, she felt somewhat confident in saying no, and with Jenny’s help, she managed to remain steady.

Up to now, she hasn’t had any concrete scandals. She’s not exactly a pure young girl, but in Korea’s entertainment circle known for its dirtiness, the four girls of BlackPink certainly have an air of ”being untouched by the mud.”

Lisa didn’t know how she should fight against Zhou Wang. On the way here, she imagined countless scenarios in her mind, but she had already made up her mind to show her firm resistance.

So now, upon hearing that Zhou Wang does seem to want to discuss business, and there are other matters to handle later, Lisa undoubtedly breathed a huge sigh of relief.

However, as she faced Zhou Wang with a relaxed posture, she heard Zhou Wang put down his wine glass and slowly say:

”I want to exploit you; are you willing?”

Buzz!

Zhou Wang’s words weren’t heavy, yet they exploded like silent thunder in Lisa’s mind, throwing her thoughts into chaos such that she couldn’t speak.

Just a moment ago, she felt she was being paranoid, misjudging Zhou Wang’s intentions, yet Zhou Wang bluntly laid it out in the next moment with a brazen demeanor, almost as nonchalant as asking her ”Have you eaten?”

”Chairman Zhou, are you... are you joking?”

Lisa finally snapped back to reality. She forced a smile but her body tensed up again, trying to maintain composure as she spoke.

”No, I’m very serious.”

Zhou Wang said flatly, ”You might be surprised by my directness, but I don’t want to waste time, after all, I have many things to do, and I won’t be staying in Korea for long... so, do you want to be mine?”

”Chairman Zhou, I’m a part of YG Entertainment; technically, I’m already yours...”

”No, what I want is more than a shallow contract-based relationship, not to mention you’re also aware that after your personal studios were established, the constraints of the so-called contracts have decreased to the bare minimum.”

Zhou Wang said calmly, ”If not for some concerns about the capital behind the company, perhaps even team contracts wouldn’t be renewed. Now that you’ve all made names for yourselves, BlackPink as a group only holds memorial significance for you, doesn’t it?”

Speaking of which, Zhou Wang looked at Lisa, his eyes undisguised with aggressive intent.

”I won’t play games with you, nor interfere in your private life, but I want you... I hope you can submit to my manipulation, obey my every command. The quickest way for you to show your sincerity seems to be this.”

Lisa’s gaze flickered briefly, mixed with shame, shock, and anger.

What does it mean to submit to your manipulation?

You want me to obey, yet expect me to show sincerity?

Coming from an ordinary family, Lisa was smart enough to guess that Zhou Wang might not just want to satisfy personal desires, but wants to achieve certain goals through controlling her...

But due to the inherent disadvantage in status, coupled with Zhou Wang’s somewhat intimidating look now, Lisa didn’t choose to argue with Zhou Wang but instead stood up somewhat hurriedly and said:

”Chairman Zhou, I don’t understand what you’re saying, if there is nothing else, I’ll just...”

”Did your mother call you today?”

Zhou Wang asked lightly at this time.

Lisa’s body stiffened, remembering that during dinner her mother did call her twice. But at that time, since Jisoo was next to her, she thought to call her mother back after getting home, considering her mom usually only calls for money or to introduce some wealthy person wanting to have dinner with Lisa...

”Chairman Zhou, what do you mean by that?”

Suddenly hearing her mother mentioned by Zhou Wang, a mixture of terror, helplessness, and anger overwhelmed Lisa, making her body tremble slightly.

”No need to be nervous.”

At this time, Zhou Wang picked up the cigar on the table to sniff it... he couldn’t smoke this stuff, but it did smell rather appealing.

”Your mom is fine, even living comfortably.”

Zhou Wang said calmly, ”She’s staying in the presidential suite at a hotel, served by two butlers round the clock, and meals prepared by Michelin chefs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... hmm, I’m not sure I’m living as comfortably as she is, but of course, it’s only temporary; whether things change later, who can say.”

Lisa suddenly stood up, looking at Zhou Wang with a face full of terror.

”You... you kidnapped her?”

Zhou Wang couldn’t help but have a black line on his face when he heard this, ”I’m not the leader of a crime syndicate, of course, I wouldn’t do something illegal...”

As he spoke, Zhou Wang thought about YG Entertainment’s current background, and his tone weakened a bit.

But seeing Lisa’s face expressing disbelief, Zhou Wang could only helplessly say, ”No one’s restricting your mom’s personal freedom. She’s currently in the Galaxy Hotel on Ao Island, having chosen to go there herself.”

”Ao Island?”

No matter what she thought of, Lisa’s expression didn’t look much better.

”It seems you do understand your mother to some extent.”

Zhou Wang smiled, ”Hmm, she received an internal invitation for VIP clients to evaluate a new entertainment venue, transported by a private jet, staying in the presidential suite... but the invitation isn’t the point; the point is that invited clients enjoy a certain free credit, and your mother seems to have a good internal rating, so Galaxy Group gave her ten million entertainment credit.”

”Oh, don’t worry, it’s not US dollars, not that exaggerated, just Hong Kong dollars.”

”Ten million Hong Kong dollars... which is nearly twenty billion Korean Won?”

Lisa’s face turned pale, and she couldn’t help but angrily say, ”How dare you, how could you...”

Based on her understanding of her mother, she instantly knew Zhou Wang was telling the truth.

Her mother, with only good looks but having spent most of her life scheming around, wouldn’t miss the chance to claim even a fraction of twenty billion Korean Won, let alone ten billion won.

She worked hard to earn money, thinking that as long as she provided her mother with enough allowance, things like this wouldn’t happen, yet here she was, exploited nonetheless.

Upon grasping everything, Lisa closed her eyes powerlessly, but then seemed to calm down somewhat.

”Chairman Zhou, rest assured, this twenty billion Korean won debt, I will handle it...”

”You misunderstood again.”

Zhou Wang interrupted her, ”I already mentioned, though it’s none of my business, that ten million Hong Kong dollars is ’free credit,’ a gift, and there’s no demand for repayment from your mother...”

”Then you...”

”But as I said, it’s only free credit.”

Zhou Wang’s tone didn’t carry any emotional fluctuations, almost staying purely factual, ”Once the free credit was exhausted, the hotel wanted to send your mom back home. However, she wasn’t willing to give up, so she stayed at the entertainment venue for another two days.”

”And it’s during those two days that she not only squandered all her money but using your name as a guarantee, borrowed a large sum again...”

Upon hearing this, Lisa’s face was ashen.

”How... How much?”

Lisa’s voice trembled.

”Thirty million.”

Lisa quickly calculated in her heart. Thirty million Hong Kong dollars, nearly sixty billion Korean won. Even for her, to come up with such a large sum would be extremely difficult, considering she only founded her personal studio earlier this year, and the money she earned before was mostly taken by the company.

But that’s her only mother; she couldn’t possibly ignore this, yet just as Lisa was biting her lip, tears in her eyes ready to speak, Zhou Wang seemed to remember something, clapping his hands:

”Oh, I forgot to mention... this time, the unit is US dollars.”
