The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1563: Chapter 624: Strategy and..._2

When Xu Wenqian worked as Zhou Wang’s exclusive customer service, she had already told Zhou Wang that she was proficient in Japanese and Korean... hmm, and later sometimes in bed, Zhou Wang also asked her to perform. This was the first time she brought her skills to a formal setting, but Xu Wenqian obviously showed absolute professionalism, sitting upright with no hesitation in her speech.

Originally, Jiang Qingkui had arranged for a professional translator, but since Sura and Xu Wenqian could both speak Korean, it ended up being unnecessary, and was sent by Jiang Qingkui to run errands with the lawyer team.

Jin Zhijie was a bit bewildered on hearing this, probably not expecting Zhou Wang to get straight to the point, but he quickly relaxed.

Thinking about his own status, since Zhou Wang guessed his purpose, there was no need for pretense between them.

Fortunately, Jin Zhijie indeed came with sincerity, so after a brief thought, he immediately began to speak:

”President, your methods are vast, and you have fully acquired the shares of the previous president. However, because you are an outsider, Vice President Jiang Xin and Vice President Park Jeongyun are wary of you, which is why the current strategy is one of non-cooperation without confrontation...”

”Moreover, an unavoidable force comes from Jenny’s mother, a member of BlackPink. The CJ Group she holds shares in has numerous business collaborations with our YG Entertainment, and besides, she should have secretly acquired some shares in YG Entertainment, making it a fourth force.”

”As for Vice President An with the smallest shares, although he seems to be a shareholder, he is just a fence-sitter. As long as you can gain the support of other shareholders, he certainly won’t have any thoughts of opposing you.”

Listening to Xu Wenqian’s simultaneous translation, Zhou Wang responded with an ”Hmm,” implying that he already knew all this, so Jin Zhijie continued:

”Thus, my suggestion for you, President, is quite simple. It’s essentially about wooing Vice President Jiang Xin and Vice President Park Jeongyun separately. As long as you can obtain their support, the obstacles to your control of YG Entertainment will naturally disappear.”

”Wooing?”

Zhou Wang smiled, ”Then how do you think it should be done specifically?”

Upon hearing Zhou Wang seeming to take in what he said, Jin Zhijie got spirited and immediately unfolded his long-thought-out plan:

”Regarding Vice President Jiang Xin, the way to win his favor is quite straightforward... Vice President Jiang comes from a gang background, formerly known as ’Red Stick,’ heavily carrying the aura of Jianghu and cherishing face. You only need to proactively invite him for a meeting, arrange a table of wine, and promise to protect the interests of Nine Stars Group. Vice President Jiang should also be willing to maintain the status quo.”

”As for Vice President Park Jeongyun, it’s relatively more troublesome. Vice President Park only rose to power in the Park Group last year and is currently the younger brother of the president of Park Group, eagerly hoping to make certain achievements to prove himself. Park Group has wanted to enhance its influence in YG Entertainment for a long time. When the previous president took office, it encountered quite a bit of trouble...”

Jin Zhijie glanced at Zhou Wang at this point, seeing no change in Zhou Wang’s expression, he then continued:

”Thus, if you want to satisfy Vice President Park’s appetite, you might need to make some concessions. I think if you’re willing to give up some shares, Vice President Park should be able to receive your signal.”

After speaking, Jin Zhijie immediately closed his mouth.

The tea room fell silent, and after some time, a ”click” sound of a lighter was heard, prompting Zhou Wang to speak leisurely:

”So your meaning is that I should bow to them?”

”President, you’re joking.”

Jin Zhijie was startled, hurriedly standing up, ”You are YG Entertainment’s leader, why would you need to bow to anyone...”

”Oh, so you do know I’m the President of YG Entertainment then!”

Zhou Wang’s tone turned cold, ”I don’t care how the previous president weighed pros and cons or was willing to give them face, but now that I’m in this position, even if someone really has to bow... it should be them.”

Jin Zhijie maintained a bowing position, but his tone grew urgent.

”President, I know you managed an overnight cross-border acquisition of YG Entertainment’s shares, enough to describe as an almighty wrist, yet this is Korea after all, whether it’s Nine Stars Group or Park Group, YG Entertainment is too small compared to their size, and Vice President Jiang and Vice President Park aren’t easy opponents...”

Jin Zhijie’s words were tactful, but the meaning was clear; no matter how powerful you are in Huaxia, you still need to consider the regional differences here in Korea.

Listening to Jin Zhijie’s advice, Zhou Wang didn’t say much more, but instead shifted the topic:

”You only mentioned Jiang Xin and Park Jeongyun, what about Jenny’s mother?”

Seeing that Zhou Wang didn’t insist further, Jin Zhijie breathed a sigh of relief, quickly explaining:

”If you can gain the support of the two vice presidents, it’s believed that CJ Group won’t continue opposing the President. As long as you don’t pursue Jenny’s impoliteness towards you, Jenny’s mother should also be willing to show some goodwill. I can liaise on behalf of the President; you don’t need to do it personally...”

”Understood.”

At this moment, Zhou Wang checked his phone, suddenly stood up, ”The time is getting late, President Jin should go back and rest early.”

Jin Zhijie was somewhat bewildered, as Zhou Wang didn’t express anything explicitly, unsure if his words were taken into account, but since Zhou Wang adopted the gesture of seeing off a guest, Jin Zhijie found it inappropriate to say more, leaving the room with a restless mind under Xu Wenqian’s escort.

Not long after, Xu Wenqian returned, seeing Zhou Wang sitting in the living room, unsure of what he was contemplating, she walked over, gently massaging Zhou Wang’s temples, and softly said:

”Boss, is it troublesome? How about I let the company’s think tank help you analyze further...”

”Think tank?”

Zhou Wang said surprisedly, ”When did our company have this department?”

”It was recently organized. Sister Qingkui said it’s a necessary setup for large groups, I’ve emailed you about it...”

Xu Wenqian pursed her lips, glancing at Zhou Wang.

Zhou Wang cleared his throat to mask his embarrassment, then shook his head and said, ”No need for now, I’ll try my own method first.”

”Boss, what’s your method?”

Xu Wenqian was genuinely curious, knowing that given Zhou Wang’s character, he wouldn’t adopt Jin Zhijie’s suggestion.

”His method is the upper-level route, but who says I can’t directly apply a ’cutting off the roots’ approach?”

Zhou Wang didn’t elaborate, only casually spoke before contemplating a while longer, then instructed: ”Have Yunshangyun delve deeper into Jin Zhijie’s background, the more detailed the information, the better.”

”So Boss intends to keep him as the President of YG Entertainment?”

”Though I don’t like his suggestion, it’s apparent he’s sincerely striving for my trust, and his capabilities seem decent. I briefly find no suitable personnel to take over YG Entertainment, giving him a chance might not be impossible...”

Zhou Wang ruffled Xu Wenqian’s hair, ”You’ve been running around all day, rest early.”

Although Xu Wenqian wanted to stay and accompany Zhou Wang, she was indeed a bit tired, so she replied obediently and returned to her room opposite the corridor.

Originally, there was a guest room in the suite, but Xu Wenqian knew it was meant for the newly recruited bodyguard of Zhou Wang, so she had to open a new room.

Zhou Wang remained seated in the living room quietly, after about one cigarette’s worth of time, the door was gently pushed open, and the long-missing Sura poked in her head, seeing only Zhou Wang in the living room, she cast a questioning glance at Zhou Wang.

Upon Zhou Wang’s nod, Sura opened the door a bit more and moved aside.

Accompanied by hesitant footsteps, a pretty woman with slightly curly hair and a face both cute and coquettish, slowly shifted in wrapped in a coat.

Sura withdrew silently, as the door closed tightly, and seeing only Zhou Wang sitting in the living room, the woman evidently grew several degrees more nervous.

”Pre-President...”

”Hello, do you prefer I call you by your real name Lalima, or should I just call you Lisa?”
