The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1568: Chapter 627: KJ Bar

Seoul, Itaewon.

Mentioning the three words ”Itaewon,” it’s probably the most famous place in Seoul in the impression of Huaxia people.

Not only because this place name frequently appears in Korean dramas, but also because of that well-known large incident, the official response from Korea left people quite dumbfounded. It’s hard to imagine such a dreadful and bizarre accident could happen during a large holiday event.

Parking the car nearby, Zhou Wang strolled through this area, known as the most internationalized in Seoul, accompanied by Sura.

The so-called ”internationalization,” in Zhou Wang’s current understanding at a glance, probably means there are many foreigners here, right?

At a glance, black, white, brown... it’s as if international friends are everywhere here.

Additionally, under the night sky are those flashing neon signs, and the roadsides are filled with bars, restaurants, and antique shops, or it’s high-end boutique hotels and luxury goods stores.

Zhou Wang glanced around and somewhat understood why everyone flocks here during holidays. Besides the fact that there are entertainment places everywhere, there are indeed many handsome men and beautiful women, causing some sort of gathering effect.

”I only know Jin Zhixiu’s parents do business here, does she also live nearby?”

Having some understanding of Jin Zhixiu, Zhou Wang casually asked.

”Yes, Itaewon is not only one of Seoul’s landmarks but also a gathering place for Korea’s new rich. There are several famous high-end communities nearby. Jin Zhixiu’s parents run a billiard hall, a restaurant, and a bar in this area, so she has purchased a high-end apartment nearby for the convenience of looking after her family anytime...”

Sura explained.

Zhou Wang nodded knowingly.

According to internal information, Jin Zhixiu’s family is well-off. Her father used to hold a senior position in a brokerage company in the entertainment industry, and it’s because of this connection that Jin Zhixiu entered the entertainment circle, receiving the best training right from the start and debuting as a member of BlackPink.

In short, perhaps Jin Zhixiu hasn’t experienced vast riches or great poverty, but throughout her life, she’s been worry-free, smooth sailing, and hasn’t encountered any major setbacks.

Combined with a happy family and a very loving older sister just four years senior, this has cultivated her relatively kind and optimistic personality.

Since Zhou Wang didn’t spend much time delayed by Lisa, he wasn’t too rushed. He also wandered around to look at the sights of Itaewon and specifically went to pay respects at the place commemorated.

After the novelty wore off, Zhou Wang was heading towards the high-end apartment where Jin Zhixiu lived, led by Sura, when Sura’s phone suddenly rang.

She answered and conversed in Korean for a while, then turned and softly said to Zhou Wang, ”Mr. Zhou, Jin Zhixiu went to the bar her family owns, what do you think...”

Zhou Wang wasn’t surprised that Sura knew Jin Zhixiu’s whereabouts so well. Even though he had no foundation in Korea, that didn’t mean he had no support here at all.

In fact, if he didn’t have some backing, Zhou Wang wouldn’t have dared to come to a foreign country putting on airs with just a team of bodyguards.

”It happens to be convenient, let’s go to the bar then.”

Zhou Wang said immediately.

...

KJ Bar, a not-so-eye-catching quiet bar among the many bars in Itaewon.

For some passersby who occasionally stumbled into this bar, they would only find that although the decor of this quiet bar has a certain style, the drinks are really too expensive, wondering who the big spenders are that would come here to consume.

Yet strangely, the business of this bar is not bad. At least in Itaewon, a bar that can remain open for more than three years is already one of the few among even fewer.

Only certain people within the circles know that this bar belongs to the family of BlackPink’s main vocalist and front face, Jisoo. In fact, the initials ”KJ” are derived from the first letters of Kim Jisoo’s name.

Because of Jisoo, the usual patrons of this place are her friends within the circle, along with some agents and such, and over time, it formed a unique consumer group here. Some entertainment industry folks looking to climb up also specifically come here hoping for a chance.

At this moment, on the best and most private booth on the second floor of the bar, sat two men and three women.

Although not many people, given the average net worth of these five people, there may not be many in Korea’s entertainment circle who can match it.

Called ”Korea’s top side profile,” Jiang Dongyuan is one of the most box-office-attractive male actors in Korea’s film industry, well-known for ”The Wolf,” ”Train to Busan 2.”

In addition, his father is the president of Pulmuone, a large Korean food company, similar to Jenny, even if he leaves the entertainment circle, he can live comfortably as a ”second-generation financial tycoon.”

Lee Jeong-jae, a top Korean actor, known for ”New World,” ”Squid Game,” ”The Handmaiden,” etc. He is arguably one of the most familiar Korean faces to Huaxia audiences.

Jeon So-mi, currently the highest-ranking solo female singer in YG Entertainment, besides BlackPink. Given that the personal contracts of the four members of BlackPink have not been renewed, it basically means she is now YG Entertainment’s ”number one sister.”

The other two women are members of BlackPink, Jin Zhixiu and Rose.

This gathering was initiated by Rose. Jin Zhixiu had been on edge all day and was planning to rest at home, but since Rose chose the gathering spot at her family’s bar, she couldn’t refuse and had to muster up the energy to attend.
