The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1554: Chapter 620: YG Entertainment

The long convoy smoothly navigated the streets of Seoul. Zhou Wang looked around and felt that the streets here were quite clean.

But that’s normal since the civic quality in developed countries is assured. Concepts like ”garbage classification” and ”not littering cigarette butts” have become ingrained in their minds. If the cleanliness in Huaxia is ”managed,” then this belongs to the ”self-disciplined” type.

Additionally, Zhou Wang looked at the passersby in Korea and had another feeling: ”trendiness.”

No matter if they were men, women, young, or old, their clothing styles were relatively fashionable. Some were even too fashionable for Zhou Wang to comprehend... For example, one young man was obviously wearing women’s clothing, but he didn’t seem gay. Zhou Wang remembered a Bigbang member who also liked to dress this way.

”Chairman Zhou, would you like to rest first or go to the company?”

It was still the afternoon, not yet time for dinner. Sura held up the phone, helping Zhou Wang translate the voice of An Qixian, the vice chairman on the other end.

”Let’s go to the company.”

Zhou Wang had rested enough on the plane, so he was ready to head straight to the company. Besides the Cloud Group-related industries in the system’s background, this was Zhou Wang’s first legitimate business overseas, so naturally, he had to inspect it.

...It’s definitely not because he’s interested in Korean female celebrities.

After hanging up, Zhou Wang turned to Cui Min’er, who seemed to be in a good mood beside him, ”Min’er, would you like to come to the company with me? I can drop you back home once I’m done.”

Since they were in Korea, it was natural to visit Cui Min’er’s family. This was an unspoken understanding between them, but for some reason, Cui Min’er seemed hesitant.

”Um, darling, why don’t you go handle your business first? I’ll head home on my own... I need to talk to my parents first and give them some mental preparation. They still don’t know I’ve decided to break up with Park Woo-bin...”

Although Cui Min’er called him affectionately, there was a cautiousness in her words.

Zhou Wang no longer embraced her waist but instead held her hand, feeling the tender skin that Cui Min’er took good care of, and softly called:

”Min’er.”

”Hmm?”

”Just because I’m greedy doesn’t mean I’m unreasonable. In our usual interactions, you don’t need to be so... walking on thin ice, understand?”

Zhou Wang knew that transforming into the evil version of himself that night might have left a significant psychological shadow on Cui Min’er, leading her to have an ingrained humility when facing him, possibly even... fear?

Although she acted this way in bed and it brought a man the utmost satisfaction, Zhou Wang wasn’t truly a psychopath, so he wanted to comfort her and let her be more natural.

It’d be best if she remained proud in daily life but became... ahem, when pressed into bed.

Cui Min’er nodded, half-understanding, ”I know the saying ’like walking on thin ice’; it’s a meme on the internet, right?”

After comforting her for a while, Cui Min’er seemed to relax a bit, but Zhou Wang could see that she hadn’t really absorbed his words.

Zhou Wang didn’t expect that a few words could change the psychological shadow his tormenting her that night had created. Time reveals one’s true self, and after some days, she’ll eventually understand his genuine intentions...

”Let me drive you back first.”

Zhou Wang understood Cui Min’er’s thoughts, that she feared her family wouldn’t accept his sudden appearance. After all, in her family’s eyes, she’s still the fiancée of a financial tycoon’s son, and even though Park Woo-bin didn’t interact much with her family, they held him in high regard.

After having Cui Min’er guide him, Zhou Wang had the driver, Gao Xing, head towards Cui Min’er’s home.

After Sura explained the situation, the rest of the convoy followed, heading towards Seoul’s largest shantytown, ”Jiulong Village.”

As the convoy arrived at the slopes of Jiulong Village, it stopped at Cui Min’er’s indication, ”It’s not far up. I’ll walk up on my own.”

Zhou Wang peered out to see the narrow roads inside and didn’t insist on driving in further. As he watched Cui Min’er walk further up the slope and disappear, Zhou Wang looked up once more.

He didn’t say anything, but Qu Peining, who had been silent in the passenger seat since Cui Min’er woke up and had been sticking inconsistently with Zhou Wang, suddenly commented with a sigh:

”I didn’t expect Korea’s capital to have such a slum...”

”Indeed.”

Zhou Wang was also somewhat surprised, taking out his phone to casually snap a photo.

Since Cui Min’er had previously described her growing environment to him, Zhou Wang didn’t feel much at that time. But now, facing the densely packed shantytown perched on the hillside with its visible low and crowded buildings was quite startling.

”Peining.”

Zhou Wang gestured to Qu Peining.

Even though Qu Peining didn’t favor this ”deceitful” girl, her strength was distinguishing work from personal bias. So, upon hearing Zhou Wang’s request, she didn’t ask much and quietly exited the car to follow from afar.

Zhou Wang had Qu Peining discreetly follow Cui Min’er naturally out of concern for her safety.

He watched for a while as both Cui Min’er and Qu Peining disappeared one after another around the alley corner before retracting his gaze.

”Let’s go.”

...

YG Entertainment Headquarters, the cold black cube stood by the street. It was already December, and for Korea, located in the north, it had officially entered winter. The temperature in Seoul was only about two or three degrees Celsius.
