Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Fire beak, ice tail, wind wings, lightning claws.

A colossal bird formed from the four elements plunged from the heavens, wind and thunder roaring in its wake.

Without the slightest warning, it dove straight into the undead army.

Its speed was terrifying, nearly on par with the Headless Knights’ Charge.

Lightning crackled as its massive claws seized two Headless Knights and clenched down.

Sharp cracking sounds rang out as their armor buckled. Yet, to the eagle’s surprise, they weren’t crushed.

As long as the damage wasn’t sufficient to kill them instantly, all harm was distributed across the entire undead army.

Killing the Headless Knights was never going to be easy.

Trapped within the claws, the Headless Knights fought back fiercely, stabbing their bone swords again and again into the giant bird’s body.

Lin Moyu cast Detection.

This creature had clearly exceeded the dungeon’s limits. Based on his soul perception, it was around level 84.

For any other party, such a boss would be a nightmare.

Lin Moyu knew that if he hadn’t activated all four platforms simultaneously, fusing the four elements, the boss wouldn’t have reached this level of power.

[Kunlun Eagle (world rank boss)]

[Level: 82]

[Strength: 1,200,000]

[Agility: 1,600,000]

[Spirit: 1,200,000]

[Physique: 1,400,000]

[Skill: Elemental Assault]

[Trait: Fire Elemental Immunity, Wind Elemental Immunity, Water Elemental Immunity, Lightning Elemental Immunity]

World rank boss was the highest designation a dungeon monster could receive, usually reserved only for bosses in large-scale dungeons.

Many believed dungeon world rank bosses were no different from wild ones, aside from where they spawned.

Their total attributes were nearly identical, after all.

That belief existed only because they had never faced a wild world rank boss, let alone soloed one.

In Lin Moyu’s experience, wild world rank bosses were unquestionably stronger, even at the same level and with similar attributes.

They possessed numerous protective traits. A creature like the Venomous Flood Dragon, for instance, was already a nightmare purely due to its poison attribute.

Compared to them, dungeon world rank bosses were far easier to handle.

Having slain countless world rank bosses, Lin Moyu didn’t think much of the level 82 Kunlun Eagle.

However, the Kunlun Eagle stayed airborne and moved at extreme speed, making pursuit difficult.

Its quadruple elemental immunities also drastically weakened the Skeletal Great Mages’ Elemental Rampage.

Only the Skeletal Marksmen’s Soul Shot could deal meaningful damage.

Killing it would take time, time Lin Moyu wasn’t willing to waste.

He raised a finger toward the sky. The heavens darkened instantly.

Heavy clouds pressed down as eerie winds swept across the battlefield. An exquisite throne of bones materialized in midair.

From it, a God-level Skeletal King, over twenty meters tall, rose slowly.

Formed from 100,000 skeletons, the Skeletal King possessed peak level 92 combat power.

When unleashing its skills, its explosive strength reached level 93.

Its mere presence caused the surrounding space to groan.

The Kunlun Eagle flapped wildly, panic overtaking it as it completely lost its composure.

The Skeletal King raised its massive sword and brought it down, releasing a frigid arc of sword light.

Skill: Godslayer!

With the Kunlun Eagle as its sole target, Godslayer exerted its full power on it.

The eagle’s screech was cut short as its massive body was obliterated within the sword light.

One strike. Instant kill.

The Kunlun Eagle didn’t even get the chance to activate its skill.

For Lin Moyu, its death had always been inevitable.

The only question was whether he felt like toying with it or ending things immediately.

Right now, he chose the latter.

[Killed Kunlun Eagle, EXP +**]

[Obtained Kunlun Fire Greatsword]

[Obtained Kunlun Wind Battle Armor]

[Obtained Kunlun Lightning Ring]

[Obtained Kunlun Ice Bracelet]

[Kunlun Fire Greatsword (a part of the Kunlun set): quasi-legendary-grade weapon, all attributes +70,000, increases the power of Berserker-type skills by 140%, increases the power of fire-type skills by an additional 50%. Attached skill: Blazing Sky.]

[Blazing Sky: attacks have a chance to trigger this skill, dealing fire elemental damage to all enemies within a 100-meter radius.]

[Kunlun Wind Battle Armor (a part of the Kunlun set): quasi-legendary-grade protective equipment, all attributes +40,000, decrease all damage taken by 15%, increases wind elemental resistance by 40%.]

[Kunlun Lightning Ring (a part of the Kunlun set): quasi-legendary-grade accessory, all attributes +20,000, all attacks gain lightning elemental attribute, with a chance of triggering paralysis.]

[Kunlun Ice Bracelet (a part of the Kunlun set): quasi-legendary-grade accessory, all attributes +20,000, immunity to freeze statuses.]

Each piece carried a distinct element and traits.

The weapon’s attached skill was fairly ordinary, nothing impressive on its own.

Individually, each piece had only average attributes, but a complete Kunlun set represented an enormous leap in power.

Among quasi-legendary-grade equipment, a complete Kunlun set ranked at the very top.

If legendary-grade equipment were unavailable, this set was arguably the strongest alternative. Very few others could rival it.

The complete Kunlun set consisted of six pieces: weapon, protective equipment, ring, necklace, earring, and bracelet.

Each piece could have different attributes.

The complete Kunlun set comprised six pieces: weapon, protective equipment, ring, necklace, earring, and bracelet.

Each piece could roll different attributes.

Weapons had to match specific classes—Knights wielded swords, Archers used bows, Mages carried staves, and so on.

Beyond class compatibility, they also required suitable attributes, provide bonuses to corresponding elemental skills, and be further enhanced by randomly appearing skills.

Protective likewise came with varied attributes and elemental bonuses tailored to different classes.

The number of possible combinations was virtually endless.

If a fire-type Mage managed to acquire a full Kunlun set with the fire attribute, they would likely refuse even legendary-grade equipment in exchange for it.

However, completing such a set was extraordinarily difficult.

Even God-level powerhouses among the human race might fail to gather one.

This time, Lin Moyu obtained four pieces, each with a different attribute: a fire weapon, a wind protective equipment, a lightning ring, and a water bracelet.

They looked chaotic and poorly matched, but even that was already remarkable.

Had another party cleared the dungeon using a single key to unlock only one platform, they would have received just one Kunlun piece.

With both type and attribute randomized, completing a full set could take a lifetime.

A God-level powerhouse once remarked that assembling a matching Kunlun set was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

That individual had even offered a legendary-grade weapon in exchange, yet still failed to obtain one.

Lin Moyu thought he might raid this dungeon a few more times.

With his speed and abilities, earning four Kunlun pieces per raid, he might truly have a chance to complete a full set.

The human race sorely lacked legendary-grade equipment. It only had a handful of pieces.

As far as he knew, Meng Anwen’s Shenxia Tower qualified as legendary-grade.

Bai Yiyuan’s gauntlets and Yan Kuangsheng’s blade were merely top-tier quasi-legendary-grade. Ning Tairan’s stave also seemed to fall short of legendary-grade.

There were many reasons for this scarcity.

Most critically, the human race had no God-level Blacksmiths to forge such equipment.

Someone like Meng Anwen, however, could craft legendary-grade accessories if supplied with sufficient materials.

A thought surfaced in Lin Moyu’s mind: if he could obtain full Kunlun sets for his teachers, their combat power would increase.

He quickly suppressed the idea.

“There’s no rush.”

He lifted his gaze toward the Kunlun Divine Palace towering above.

With the death of the Kunlun Eagle, not only had he obtained the equipment, but the formation blocking his path had also dissipated.

The road beyond was revealed, and the divine palace 1,000 meters above came clearly into view.

This meant he was now qualified to enter.

“So the dungeon truly has a fourth stage.”

“This is the real Kunlun Divine Palace dungeon.”

Lin Moyu began ascending the mountain toward the divine palace at its summit.

Fierce winds howled, and the sound of wind chimes rang out once more.

This time, Lin Moyu was ready. He drew his soul force inward, shutting out external interference.

The Nine-Colored Dragon Soul Crystal revolved steadily around his soul, standing guard.

His mind remained firm and unwavering, untouched by any external influence.
