Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Watching the Wind Petals being slaughtered by the undead army, Lin Moyu murmured, “Weakness is the original sin.”

Though he did not know why Antares had come to this world or why he had remained for so long, Lin Moyu was certain of one thing: Antares had not come willingly. He had had no choice.

Whatever the reason, it was that helplessness that gave birth to such overwhelming resentment.

And the root of it all was simple—he wasn’t strong enough.

If he were powerful enough to dominate the world, who would dare force him to do anything he didn’t want?

If someone disobeyed, a single punch would be the answer.

A strong fist was the absolute truth.

Lin Moyu wanted to become that strong.

While his thoughts surged, a large area around him was already cleared. Many Wind Petals had been slain, and he gained massive amounts of EXP.

Though it wasn’t as efficient as directly absorbing soul force, this method avoided forced growth and helped stabilize his foundation.

Within his soul, the nine-colored Divine Dragon coiled and spiraled, occasionally exhaling Dragon Breath to nourish it, slowly raising its rank.

The nourishment from the Dragon Soul Crystal was immense. Not only was his soul rank rising, but he could also feel his soul becoming more solid and tangible.

Power filled his entire being as his foundation grew increasingly stable.

With a firm foundation, he could climb higher in the future without ever worrying about instability.

A massive aura suddenly surged from deep within the Wind Petal cluster.

It wasn’t just one, but several powerful auras were tangled together.

“They’re finally here.”

Lin Moyu looked into the distance. Several enormous Wind Petals swayed in the wind, thousands of meters away.

Pollen drifted outward, carrying a strange, sweet fragrance.

When the pollen landed on the skeletons, it exploded instantly, blooming like dazzling fireworks across the sky.

“The power isn’t impressive, but it’s quite beautiful.”

His eyes flashed, and the Headless Knights charged toward the Wind Petal bosses.

Their Charge skill activated, and in an instant, they arrived and surrounded the targets.

One… two… three…

There were six Wind Petal bosses in total, each colossal, easily more than a hundred meters tall.

Fierce winds coiled around them, howling and spinning.

Each petal stretched over ten meters long, layered so densely they could not be counted.

The petals slammed down like gigantic palms, swatting the Headless Knights away.

With so many petals striking at once, it felt as though countless hands were beating down simultaneously, sending numerous Headless Knights flying.

Others were dragged into the whirlwinds surrounding the Wind Petals and tossed far into the distance.

The whirlwinds didn’t just repel them, they were filled with razor-sharp wind blades that clashed violently against their armor.

“Their power is formidable. Their strength should exceed 1.5 million.”

“These whirlwinds are likely a Wind Petal trait. World rank bosses all possess traits.”

Lin Moyu sensed the extent of the Headless Knights’ injuries and made a rough estimate.

Given their high physique, knocking them back so effortlessly meant the Wind Petal bosses’ strength had to exceed 1.5 million.

He flicked his finger, and the Detection skill shot out.

[Giant Wind Petal (world rank boss)]

[Level: 86]

[Strength: 2,100,000]

[Agility: 1,000,000]

[Spirit: 1,000,000]

[Physique: 2,500,000]

[Skill: Pollen Explosion, Petal Detonation, Wind Petal Blood Moon]

[Trait: Whirlwind Armor, 90% Wind Elemental Damage Reduction, 50% Physical Damage Reduction, Enhanced Health, Enhanced Attack Power]

Its strength far exceeded 1.5 million, reaching 2.1 million.

With total attributes of 6.6 million, it truly deserved its title as a level 86 world rank boss.

With such overwhelming attributes, even the Headless Knights could not touch them.

The six Giant Wind Petals advanced together, their whirlwinds merging into a raging gale.

They crashed into the battlefield, their petals vibrating violently. The undead army struggled to withstand the assault.

Pollen spread relentlessly, then detonated.

Violent explosions scattered the undead forces in all directions.

Although the skeletons could not be killed, they also couldn’t draw near the bosses.

Even the Skeletal Great Mage’s Elemental Rampage was blocked by the Whirlwind Armor.

Only the soul attacks from the Skeletal Marksmen could cause damage, albeit minor.

The battlefield wasn’t occupied solely by the undead army and the Giant Wind Petals. Countless ordinary Wind Petals continuously surrounded them, preventing the skeletons from encircling and eliminating the bosses.

The six level 86 Wind Petal bosses rampaged across the battlefield, drastically reducing the undead army’s efficiency.

Lin Moyu watched calmly, realizing his undead army was still lacking.

The gap in levels was undeniable and impossible to ignore.

If his undead troops were also level 86, the outcome of this battle would be completely different.

After observing for a moment, he had already seen the outcome.

The undead army couldn’t defeat the Wind Petal bosses, and although the Wind Petals could repel them, they couldn’t destroy them either.

Even if the battle lasted for days, it would end in a stalemate.

“You have bosses? So do I.” A cold glint flashed in Lin Moyu’s eyes.

With a thought, 50,000 skeletons vanished.

The sky darkened. Heavy clouds gathered, and the temperature plummeted.

In the dark clouds, a throne of bones emerged. The Skeletal King slowly rose from it and raised its sword.

Lin Moyu did not use all his skeletons to summon the Skeletal King.

He used only half, just 50,000.

Due to the limitations of his level, even if he used all 100,000, the Skeletal King could only approach the God-level. Its attributes could not break past the 10 million mark.

This was a threshold imposed by the laws.

As long as Lin Moyu himself had not crossed this threshold, his summons would remain restricted.

He had tested summoning the Skeletal King with both 80,000 and 100,000 skeletons.

The difference in their total attributes amounted to only a few hundred thousand.

For the Skeletal King, whose attributes were already nearing ten million, a difference of a few hundred thousand was negligible.

After further testing, Lin Moyu found that 50,000 was the most cost-effective number.

The drop in combat power was minimal.

Better yet, the remaining skeletons were still enough to summon a second Skeletal King.

But he didn’t.

Those extra 50,000-plus were better suited to dealing with ordinary Wind Petals.

The Skeletal King manifested and instantly locked onto the six Wind Petal bosses.

Skill: Godslayer!

Its sword cleaved through the void, and a terrifying sword light flashed across the air.

A skill powerful enough to wound God-level experts was unstoppable against level 86 world rank bosses.

The strike locked onto all six targets, and the sword light swept through them.

Shrill sounds echoed through the air.

The Wind Petal bosses released faint, agonized cries as massive numbers of petals were sliced away, leaving their bodies mangled and misshapen.

The severed petals drifted downward, each several meters in size.

Then the wind shifted, and the petals reversed direction.

They shot toward the Skeletal King like razor-sharp blades, tearing through space at terrifying speed, then exploded.

The Skeletal King was blasted backward, and cracks spread across its white bones. Even its bone cloak was damaged.

For its defense to be broken… this proved the sheer power of Petal Detonation.

“As expected from world rank bosses, they always have some powerful skills.”

If this were the past, that single attack would have erased his entire undead army.

A skill capable of heavily injuring the Skeletal King could certainly annihilate them instantly.

But now—

The Skeletal King surged forward again, healing light flashing over its body.

The Lich Generals continuously cast their healing spell, healing the Skeletal King completely in less than two seconds.

Mid-charge, it unleashed another skill, and the elements went berserk.

A thunderous roar erupted as a violent explosion engulfed the Wind Petal bosses.

This time, their Whirlwind Armor failed. The raging winds shattered, and countless petals were blasted away.

The Wind Petal bosses refused to back down. The detached petals instantly rushed toward the Skeletal King, then detonated.

The Skeletal King flared with the radiance of Absolute Defense, enduring the explosions as it reached the Wind Petal bosses.

Its bone sword slashed in blinding arcs, intersecting sword qi shredding the air and scattering petals in every direction.

The six Wind Petal bosses surrounded the Skeletal King, launching a coordinated assault.

One against six.

Encased in Absolute Defense, the Skeletal King showed no sign of retreat. No sign of weakness.

Lin Moyu raised his finger and pointed to the sky.

The phantom undead world descended, and the undead gate opened.

Skill: Undead Gaze!
