STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Jeremy saw that Tier-3 Beast was not planning to leave. Right now, the beast is more enraged than before. The beast sped fast to attack again.

Swoosh!

Seeing that Jeremy raised his Katana to slash. He has already imbued the blade with starlight energy. The blade then slices through the injured part, widening the cut more.

Pfff!

This time blood poured out more. The Black Wolf stopped its movement in pain. If it moves, the injury would rupture. Jeremy’s eyes sparkle after seeing the opportunity.

Swoosh!

Again, he swung his katana in a perfect arc to strike. The Beast has already most of the blood. With a few more strikes on it, it will die.

Pfff!

The Tier-3 Black Wolf tried to avoid the attack. Yet the blood slices through its body again. As more blood pours out, it collapses onto the ground.

A few minutes later,

Jeremy confirmed the death of the Tier-3 Corrupted Beast. He then decapitated its head before placing it inside the storage ring.

Jeremy sighed. The battle went a little longer than he thought. But the end result satisfied him. The starlight energy gave him the confidence to challenge Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts in future.

Not only that, he can cement his own place once he enters Central University 14. He knows all the powerful talent from Zone 14 will gather there.

Jeremy’s eyes flash with excitement. He can’t wait to go there. After calming his heart, he started moving back to the Western settlement.

A few minutes later,

Captain Morris and others were nervously waiting for their Young Master’s return. When Jeremy appeared. Everyone let go of their worries.

”Young Master, you are fine”

”What happened out there?” Captain Morris asked.

He wasn’t able to contain his curiosity. So do others. Looking at the sparkling eyes of everyone.

Jeremy said, ”I killed the Tier-3 Black Wolf. I guess the western settlement will be safe for some time.”

”Wow”

”Young Master, that’s great”

The Guards celebrated. Captain Morris is happy as well. Though he had confidence he didn’t expect the young master to return unscathed. Which shows he has become a lot stronger after the awakening ceremony.

”Let’s go back to the estate,” Jeremy said.

He knows that a representative of Central University 14 might come at any time.

Captain Morris ordered a few others to inform the people in charge here. They can move around safely thereafter.

Shortly afterwards,

Everyone entered the armoured vehicle. The flying vehicle rose from the ground. It appears in mid-air before moving towards the destination.

About 20 minutes later,

The flying armoured vehicle landed back at the Night Estate. Jeremy and others walked out. After bidding bye to others, he quickly walked into the building.

Then he went straight towards his Father’s study room.

Creak!

After reaching the place, he opens the door and enters inside.

To his surprise, he saw Representative Kim and his father talking.

Jeremy’s presence caught their attention as well.

”Son, you are back,” Ron asked.

”Yes, father. I have eliminated the Tier-2 Corrupted Beast and their leader Tier-3 Corrupted Beast,” I said to him while approaching the chair to sit down.

Representative Kim, who is sitting opposite Ron, was shocked.

”Mr. Jeremy, are you saying that you have killed the Tier-3 Corrupted Beast,” Kim asked. His eyes flash with doubt.

Because he knows not everyone can hunt right after awakening. Since Jeremy is from the City Governor’s Family. There are chances.

Jeremy felt the gazes of his father and Kim. He knows his father trusts him. But it’s different when it comes to Representative Kim.

So Jeremy decides to make a strong impression. He takes out the decapitated head of the Tier-3 Black Wolf from the storage ring.

The massive head floats above him. Its menacing Tier-3 aura is flooding the room.

”So it’s true,” Kim’s heart set off storms. He knew people who awakened had entered the Tier-One, Rank 1 Power immediately.

Next, they need to bond with the Lifeline beast for evolution. So Jeremy’s strength reminds him of the recent news that he got from the administration.

If Jeremy agrees to join, then his information will be confidential. No one can view it unless they share the same authority as the dean.

”Jeremy, you are going to surprise everyone in Central University 14 with your A-level Talent,” Kim said.

”Ha...Ha...Ha...., my son’s combat talent is amazing,” Ron said from the side.

”Thank you for your praise, Mr. Kim,” Jeremy said.

He got the expression he wanted. So he placed his back head into the storage ring.

”Mr. Ron, can we proceed to sign the contract,” Kim asked.

Ron nodded his head.

Jeremy sat on the chair next to Ron.

Kim then shows the digital contract. A blue virtual screen appears showing the contract. Ron Night starts to go through it.

”Earlier, we offered to give you the Lifeline beast for free. Since you have already bonded with the lifeline beast. There is a plan b. Which offers the wavering of fees.”

”You can study at Central University 14 until you graduate from the place. After graduation, depending on your Tier Strength, you will be given jobs. Including the Governor Post and other Government Post.”

”If you want to work for private organisations, you can do that as well,” Kim said to Jeremy.

Jeremy continued to listen to Kim. The offer seems to be good. He already got the powerful lifeline beast egg. So, his major concerns were gone.

”What about the Resources?” Ron asked.

Kim replied, ”Jeremy has A-level Talent. So he will get 3 resources of his choice for free each month. And that too based on his Tier.”

”He won’t have free higher-tier resources. For that, he has to buy it separately,” he added.

”What’s the difference between my son’s A-level Talent and others?” Ron asked.

Kim understood and replied,” Mr. Jeremy has a choice. He can pick whatever resource he wants not exceeding his tier. Whereas for other A-level Talent. The resources were given by the Management.”

”Lord Martha recommended Mr. Jeremy. That’s why this treatment was possible,” he added.
