STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Ross Family:

Petra Ross, the Ross Family’s third child is in her room, looking frustrated. She has a fair skin tone with blonde hair and eyes. She is looking through the window right now.

”How come I’m not offered a good contract?” She asked herself. She has awakened a B-level Flame Control Talent.

Her lifeline beast was a rare beast as well. It’s a red flamingo bird with a fire element ability. She immediately bonded with it right after the awakening ceremony.

She thought she would be the first preference for Central University 14. But the representative told her. That they had already offered an exclusive contract to someone.

So they don’t have another quota for City C. So she had no other choice but to accept the next level contract. She is going to enter Central University 14 in a few days.

When she learnt about the person to whom they had offered an exclusive contract. She was shocked. The person is none other than Jeremy Night.

She knew about his talent right after the awakening ceremony. But body type talents are generally looked down upon by people. Although his talent grade was A Grade.

But she doesn’t think there will be much of a difference between them. She has flame control. Her lifeline beast has fire ability as well. She can use her talent to boost Lifeline Beast’s ability to be more powerful.

She can use the ability either herself or boost Lifeline’s ability during battle. But what’s with the body type talent? It has serious flaws. They can’t assist their lifeline beast.

If they want to use their ability, then they have to find a suitable Lifeline beast.

She is confused.

With such a serious drawback.

Why did Central University give him an exclusive contract?

Creak!

The door opens, and a tall man with broad shoulders enters the room. He has curly blonde hair and eyes. His skin tone is fair. He was dressed in a white suit.

”Father, what are you doing here?” Petra asked.

”My dear daughter, are you still feeling down about the contract?” Mike Ross asked.

”Yes, I don’t understand. What do they see in body type talent?” She asked.

”That kid..uh”

”His body type talent is exceptional. It’s a combat talent. He can learn fighting techniques to kill the Corrupted Beasts,” Mike said.

Petra rolled her eyes.

She refuted by saying, ”I can do that as well. Even better than him.”

”That’s true. But don’t forget his talent grade is A. And that Ron Night would find a suitable Lifeline beast for him.”

”Don’t underestimate anyone. So, stop thinking about it. It’s pointless,” After saying that, Mike left.

”It’s not true,” Petra’s eyes flashed with a glint.

She decides to test his strength later.

...

Night Family:

The following day,

Jeremy started the day as usual. He decides to spend a full day in the training. But he received a summon from his father.

When he went to the Study Room. He noticed his father’s expression was serious. He immediately thought of Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts.

”Father, what happened?” Jeremy asked.

”Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts are attacking the western lake settlement outside the city.”

”I want you to go there with Captain Morris and his team to solve the trouble,” Ron Night said in a serious tone.

He doesn’t want to send his son away for this mission. Because Mr Kim would come to meet Jeremy today.

Jeremy’s eyes flickered. As far as he knows the only corrupted beasts roam around the western lake are black wolves.

The Black Wolves are a small group with an Early Rank Tier-3 as a leader. He dealt with the Tier-2 Corrupted Beast before. So he can take down this Early Rank Tier-3 Beast.

”Alright, father. I’m leaving right away,” Jeremy said before leaving.

Then he returns to his room to change. This time, he is going to wear a proper combat uniform. A combat uniform was usually worn by Frontline Beast Tamers.

Jeremy got the basic one sold to trainees. He begins to wear the suit. The katana blade is inside his storage ring.

A few minutes later,

When he was ready. He left the room. The Starlight Beast Egg is absorbing the natural energy from the surroundings.

Jeremy is aware of that. He was thinking about using the starlight energy during the training session earlier. But now the mission has come up.

After stepping out of the building, he met with Captain Morris and the team.

”Let’s go; we need to reach the location as soon as possible,” Jeremy said to Captain Morris.

Shortly afterwards,

A flying armoured vehicle leaves the Night Family Estate.

On the way, Jeremy couldn’t help but think about the city. The City is overflowing with people. For the current population of the city. They need to build two more similar cities to manage the population.

But building a City is not an easy task. The manpower needed is high. Even the Current City C requires 3 people to govern.

On top of it, you need a strategic location to build the city. In that way, you can get help from the Human Alliance at any time.

Right now, City C of Zone 14 has a good structure. They are close to City B and City D. They can reach out to any of them in a short time.

But the problem is human settlements. On one side, the City keeps expanding. At the same time, the number of settlements increases outside.

People living in these settlements are refugees from other settlements. Usually, it happens when their previous settlement suffered an attack from the Powerful Corrupted Beast.

Migration occurs in some cases. Where the number of Corrupted Beasts grows beyond City Control. Where the City Mercenary Teams failed to clear out the beast’s lairs in time.

Right now, they are facing something like that. If they don’t clear out the beasts, people will lose faith in the city. Then, they might go to City B for protection.
