STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Awakening Ceremony,

”What’s your name?” Martha asked.

”I’m Jeremy Night,” Jeremy answered her. He could feel that she harboured no ill intentions.

”Good, our Human Alliance needs a talented person like you,” After saying that, she returns to her previous position.

But her eyes flash with a complex emotion.

”Jeremy, you did well. But be careful in choosing the Lifeline Beast,” Principal Hubert said from the side.

Jeremy nodded to him before walking back towards his Classmates.

At the same time, all the media personnel started taking pictures.

”The first awakener in the Little Rock High School revealed. It’s an A-level Talent.”

Excitement buzzes through a crowd of reporters. The top journalists and beginners everyone started working on their reports as quickly as possible. They don’t want to miss any details.

On the other hand, Jeremy responded to his classmates’ words with a smile. He can feel that all the media people’s eyes are on him.

But he chose to ignore them and continued talking to his classmates.

Meanwhile,

The gentleman dressed in the black tuxedo hurriedly pulled out his phone to dial. The old man dressed in traditional clothes is already speaking to someone.

They both looked tense and excited at the same time. They were speaking with trembling voices.

Ron and Nora looked at each other. Both of their faces were full of smiles.

The sword hanging over their family has disappeared with Jeremy’s successful awakening of A-level Talent.

Relief and comfort washes over their bodies.

At the same time, the gentlemen’s hands were trembling in excitement. The people behind him praised him, and they wanted him to convince the kid.

And the old man was no different. He was happy as well After finishing the reporting, they both turned towards the Night Family.

”Lord Ron, your son has awakened- A-level Talent. I’m Tim, from the Nepton University, City B. I hope your son can join our university,” The old man dressed in traditional clothes said with a smile.

Hearing that Ron wasn’t surprised. Now that his son’s talent was revealed. Normally, everyone would want their son to join their University.

But Ron was not particularly fond of Nepton University, which is located in City B.

”Mr. Ron, I’m Kim from Central University, City A. You must be aware that Central University is funded by the Human Alliance.”

”Your son has great potential. But he needs a suitable Lifeline Beast which complements his talent.”

”The Central University is ready to give a Lifeline Beast for free if your son agrees to join and study in the Central University,” Kim said in a serious tone.

He came here to try his luck. But he didn’t expect one of the City Governor’s sons to awaken an A-level Talent.

Ron didn’t respond for a few seconds. He then thought of something and said, ”Give us some time. I’ll talk with my son.”

Kim and the old man Tim agreed as well. They don’t want to force anyone here. A-level Talent is good but it’s not rare. Each year, many students with A-level Talent join the Central University from different cities.

It’s the same case with Nepton University. But it’s for the next grade of talent. They have more C-grade talents. As they get more resources compared to Central University.

Ron and Nora looked at each other. Their previous worries were all gone. Now, they have to make important decisions. The Central University is not only located in Zone 14.

But in the remaining Zones’ City A as well. There are a total of 25 City A from the 25 Zones. It means there are 25 Central Universities.

And the person Kim is from the Central University No.14

The couple knows that Central University is the best option. Ron is working for the Human Alliance as one of the City governors here.

So it’s a natural choice for him. But he still wants to hear his son’s opinion.

Time passed,

Maratha Smith’s eyes were fixed on the platform. There is a reason why she has agreed to come here. She couldn’t help but think of her friend who died during the mission.

Her friend’s last wish was to give her last treasure to someone deserving. So far, only Jeremy Night caught her eyes.

One after another the students went forward to awaken their talents. But talent awakening ranges between B, C and D. None of them have awakened A-level talent and above so far.

Even the brown-haired classmate next to Jeremy awakened B- level Talent. It’s sensory talent. The career of scouting suits him.

Jeremy sighed inwardly. He knows it’s not easy to awaken a good talent. He can do that thanks to the Golden Pill.

Around 4 pm, the awakening ceremony comes to an end. Only 1/3 of the students were able to awaken their talent. The rest of them lost their chances on the first try.

It’s not like their Beast Taming Path came to an end. There are records of the late awakeners as well. But there are very few.

So, the students who failed to awaken still clung to that hope.

The representative, Martha Smith, sighed inwardly. The awakening ceremony can be said to be below average. There is only one A-level Talent found in this ceremony.

She can only give the treasure to the A-level Talent.

She knows that only students with good B-level and A-levels have a chance of getting into Central University.

If they want to join the Human Alliance in the future, then Central University is the easy ticket for them. Otherwise, they have different career options to choose from.

Such as working as City Governors, Mercenary Teams, Guards for private firms and other jobs. Depending upon their Tier-Rankings.

The more the Tier-Rank, the more they can get close to the Human Alliance.

Just as she was pondering, Principal Hubert came to her. He gives back the awakening stone. Martha recovered her thoughts and collected the awakening stone into her storage ring.

While putting the awakening stone inside the storage ring. Something drew her attention. It’s a beautifully decorated silver pattern square box.

Inside the box, there is a white colour egg shining brightly.

”This unknown egg?” Martha said in her heart.

It’s the last treasure of her friend.

She could feel the powerful energy hiding inside the egg. It’s only possible when the Bloodline of the Beast is very high.

Now that she has found an A-level Talent, she thinks this unknown egg with a high bloodline is useful to the student because of the higher Bloodline limit.

The Unknown Beast can easily reach a higher tier in future. Then there will be more chances of the kid getting out of Zone 14 to go to the top 10 zones.

”Lord Martha?” Principal Hubert called out her name.

Marath collected her thoughts and said, ”I want to talk to a student who awakened the A-level Talent.”

Hubert was surprised. Then he nodded his head.
