Pillar of Yita

The young girl was really a bit worried that the suitcase might get lost again.

The black-haired young man smiled, ”Someone is watching it, don’t worry.”

Then he turned back to Fang Hong, ”I remember Ye Hua was in that place too. Didn’t he tell you how much manpower and resources the Descendants of Flor have put into finding the Pale Glory?”

Fang Hong couldn’t help but recall that Ye Hua did say similar things to him, but returning to Quistack was his own choice. It was because of that choice that the Seven Seas Travel Group is now in trouble.

Moreover, the future might be even more dangerous, but does he regret it?

He shook his head in his heart.

”Great God Ye Hua told me these things,” Fang Hong thought about it and then looked up.

The black-haired young man looked at him, seemingly understanding something from his expression, and nodded, ”Alright, I’m just here to remind you, try to appear less in crowded places lately, especially in places like this—”

”I understand,” Fang Hong nodded lightly.

The black-haired young man glanced around, ”So do you have a plan to break out, do you need my help?”

This time, Fang Hong didn’t deny it. He was just surprised that Shana and the others would help the Seven Seas Travel Group at this time, and even more surprised that the other party would find a Dragon Knight to deliver the deposit.

However, they had already decided to break out from under the Abyssal Sea before, so there’s no need to change the plan temporarily.

The black-haired young man listened to his description and seemed very decisive, ”Alright, then I don’t need to be redundant. After all, I still have to stay with the Descendants of Flor for a while, it’s not good to leave too many tails.”

He looked at Fang Hong, ”When you meet Shana and R, give them my regards, and I wish you good luck on your journey.”

”Wait.”

Fang Hong called out to him.

The black-haired young man was about to leave but stopped and looked at him.

”Well...” Fang Hong was a bit puzzled, ”What about the deposit?”

The black-haired young man looked up speechlessly and slapped his forehead.

He walked over and handed a crystal to Fang Hong, ”Phew, almost forgot, good thing you reminded me, this is an Information Crystal, the deposit and money for purchasing materials are inside, along with some information...”

He paused, ”If you can’t find a way to buy the materials you need, you can try your luck with the places recorded inside.”

Fang Hong took the crystal and nodded slightly.

”Thanks, you...” He looked at the man, contemplating asking about his teacher and Shana, but thought better of it, considering the man might not answer, so he swallowed the words.

”Just call me X,” the black-haired young man said, seemingly sensing Fang Hong’s many questions, ”As for the matter with R and Shana, they didn’t tell you and I won’t say much, if you get the chance you should ask them yourself.”

After saying that, X turned and walked into the mist, and when Fang Hong saw his figure again, he was already jumping far away onto a giant tree root, disappearing without a trace after a twist in the leaves.

Only then did Fang Hong lower his head to look at the crystal in his hand, standing for a while to digest the massive amount of information he’d received.

Meanwhile, Hilveld’s gentle voice was already echoing nearby.

”We’re about to enter the Wind Elemental Layer, Lord Captain, let everyone enter the cabin first.”

Fang Hong then turned his head and nodded gently.

...

In just half an hour, the Sky Sea outside Tarn Port was densely filled with airships.

The captain of the Short-Tailed Sturgeon Ship saw the black-haired young man return to the ship and hurriedly approached, asking nervously, ”Sir, those people, did you catch them?”

X looked at everyone and shook his head, ”They’ve lost it. After I got on the ship, they directly drove the ship into the Wind Elemental Layer. I didn’t want to perish with them, so after watching them descend into the Elemental Layer, I left first.”

Everyone couldn’t help but look at each other in confusion upon hearing this.

The captain of the Short-Tailed Sturgeon opened his mouth, ”... Sir, I’m not doubting you, it’s just, did you really see them sink into the Wind Elemental Layer?”

”Of course,” X nodded, ”I understand what you mean, I can still return from the shallow layers of the Elemental Layer, but as for them continuing downwards, I can’t do anything.”

He adjusted his collar and continued, ”You can send a few boats down to take a look.”

At this, the captain of the Short-Tailed Sturgeon Ship was convinced, at least seventy or eighty percent. He couldn’t help but exchange glances with his deputy. The Seven Seas Traveler is smaller than their patrol ship, such a small vessel entering the Wind Elemental Layer, the currents would probably be enough to tear the ship apart, right?

Did those people really turn desperate, forced to drive the ship down?

”But the Abyssal Sea passage under the Wind Elemental Layer...” the deputy mentioned, ”If they use those passages to escape...?”

”How easy is it to find those passages? Besides, their ship can’t last long enough, it would likely break apart before passing through the Elemental Layer.” The captain of the Short-Tailed Sturgeon shook his head, ”Taking a step back, even if they did leave, it’s not our problem anymore, let the nobles worry about that.”

The deputy was slightly stunned but found it very reasonable.

Even if there’s a wanted order from the Colin Royal Family, it’s not worth risking their lives for the twenty thousand bounty, they’re not like those desperate bounty hunters.

The two couldn’t help but look at X beside them. Although this young man was also a bounty hunter, his status was somewhat unusual, coming from the Second World’s superiors, despite not having a title, he could stand alongside the nobles of this world.

Royal authority is a form of power, but how is strength itself not similar?
