Pillar of Yita

But in the rush, Parker made a mistake, and Bakins saw this scene and shouted at him: ”You pulled the wrong direction, Parker!”

The Bosun was experienced, but still couldn’t manage everyone.

Seeing that the Seven Seas Traveler was about to collide sideways with the big ship, everything was beyond redemption.

Tianlan also covered her eyes, not daring to watch anymore.

But just at this moment, a wave of consciousness swept across the entire ship.

Bakins keenly noticed that the mast and rigging of the Seven Seas Traveler shook slightly.

He turned his head to look.

At the connection between the crossbeam and the mast of the Seven Seas Traveler, it was filled with construct components rarely seen on other airships.

At this moment, those mechanical structures were starting to rotate, producing creaking sounds.

The sweeping crossbeam dragged a long cable, directly pulling Parker over from midair, slamming him into the ship’s rail.

Seeing this, Bakins also quickly released the rope and leaped onto the net on the side.

”Mr. Bakins, I’m taking over the Seven Seas Traveler for a while.”

Fang Hong’s voice came from the sound transmission tube, he was merely stating, without needing anyone’s consent.

Amidst the massive tilt of the hull, Hilveld pushed open the captain’s cabin door, holding onto the door frame as she walked out, somewhat surprised to see this scene.

”What happened?”

She was holding several rolls of sea charts, questioning the others in confusion.

But the howling wind drowned her voice.

And no one answered her.

Only in Tianlan’s surprised gaze, the mast turned uniformly in one direction, the silver snow sails unfurled like wings.

On both sides of the ship, the horizontal wings half unfolded, half furled, like turning fish fins, and the wing sails at the stern flapped like a fish tail.

At that moment, the Seven Seas Traveler turned into a swimming fish, narrowly threading past the large ship.

Everyone on the Seven Seas Traveler turned to watch the three-masted ship falling behind them——

But the crisis was not over, due to the Bernoulli effect, the distance between the two ships was rapidly closing.

At this moment, Fang Hong’s irritated voice came through the sound transmission tube:

”Xiangzi, full throttle on the lift engine!”

”Wait,” Tianlan almost thought she heard wrong at this order, ”Brother Ade, be careful to avoid ahhhh——!”

If it were Luo Yu in the engine room at this moment, there might have been a moment’s hesitation.

But Xiangzi didn’t care, pulling the lever all the way down without a second thought.

Then he gave a muffled response, ”Alright.”

”Alright my foot ahhh, you’ve doomed us, Xiangzi!”

Tianlan almost fainted at the sight of the massive shadow closing in like a mountain again.

But in the sound transmission tube, Fang Hong had already issued the third command:

”Miss Tata, climb up, ram into it——”

When Captain Bozuo of the pilot boat walked out of the captain’s cabin, he saw just such a scene.

He had sailed on the Sky Sea for twenty-four years, and served as a captain in this port for twelve years, but in his fifty-six years of life, he had never seen anything like this.

The small ship that was destined to be crushed into pieces by the big ship was now swimming out from under the massive shadow like a fish, rapidly climbing, and entering the airspace above the large ship.

He even saw the small ship’s rapidly oscillating tail wing sail, almost like a Sky Sea sturgeon—no, he had really seen a fish, how could a normal airship be this agile?

He was first shocked, then appreciative, thinking about how calm the captain must have been, how united the sailors must have been, to make such a beautiful choice at the crucial moment and save themselves from disaster.

So much so that when he saw the small ship, after flying above the large ship, resolutely ram into the mast of the large ship, breaking off the flag at the top of that mast, he wasn’t surprised, but couldn’t help but smile knowingly.

He thought, if it were him, he would have done the same, if he were twenty years younger. Therefore, he concluded that the captain on that small ship must be a fiery young man, only young men would do such reckless things.

However, his first mate beside him obviously did not share his opinion, the Orlenze man worryingly said: ”It’s those people again, the people on that small ship are causing trouble.”

Only then did Bozuo see the flag that had fallen from the large ship and frowned slightly. But he straightened his expression, put on his hat, and said to his deputy: ”We both saw the previous situation, if they hadn’t done that, the people on the small ship would have been sunk. We all saw who disregarded the rules first, if they want to arbitrate, I’ll be willing to testify for the people on the small ship later.”

The deputy thought that the small ship hadn’t performed well at the start either, but he knew his captain’s temperament, just sighed and said: ”But they shouldn’t have actively rammed afterward, and those people may not be reasonable with them.”

Bozuo looked at the large ship, noticeably slowed after being disturbed by the small ship, and said: ”Never mind, let’s separate the two ships first, guide them to their respective berths——”

He paused, turned around, ”Let the small ship dock first.”

But this old captain had obviously mistaken many things.

There was neither a calm captain nor experienced, united sailors, if anything, there were plenty of rookies.

And also a Lord Captain reluctantly coming down from the control station.

...

Fang Hong was almost driven half mad with anger.

This was the hard-earned ship built with the collective effort of everyone, condensing the efforts of three generations: Hilveld’s father, grandfather, and herself.
