Pillar of Yita

The young man closed the crystal while replying: ”It has nothing to do with you, it’s a job I took on from the outside.”

The sound coming from the crystal stopped abruptly, leaving the two people on the other side gazing at each other.

”This guy.” Light Night looked at the crystal in his hand and shook his head.

Atop the towering trees of Tarn, the black-haired youth earnestly thanked Ai Xiaoxiao.

”Good thing you ran into us,” Ai Xiaoxiao said, ”otherwise you would have lost that crate.”

The crate felt extremely awkward at the side.

Of course, it wasn’t the awkwardness of being called that, but because he couldn’t cover his face, making him feel uncomfortable all over,

so he could only slightly tilt his face, looking around everyone with a disdainful gaze towards the world.

But in fact, not many people noticed him. Aside from a few middle-aged ladies, who curiously looked at this pretty boy.

But there was no choice; it was Fang Hong and Luo Hao’s idea. After a unanimous discussion, the conclusion was that his best disguise was to show his face, only then could his appearance greatly differ from the wanted order.

And although Xiangzi usually had the image of a middle-aged juvenile, he still heeded the captain’s advice.

The black-haired youth once again thanked Ai Xiaoxiao: ”Thank you.”

”You’re welcome,” Ai Xiaoxiao said, ”but be careful next time.”

He nodded, picked up the giant suitcase, bid farewell to the two, and then followed the same path he had come from toward the direction of the elevator.

The elevator was on the other side of Tarn, and he had to pass by Osiris Trace, after walking for about ten minutes, he saw several elevator platforms.

However, before he could reach outside the elevator, he saw the front door open with a bang, and then a group of brightly armored guards charged out aggressively, fully armed, holding long halberds and walking straight toward him.

The young man stepped aside, somewhat surprised to see this scene, as he had already passed three or four checkpoints on his way, wondering what had happened in Orlenze for it to be in such a state of high alert.

...

Ai Xiaoxiao watched the person walk away, then turned around and said with a bit of amusement: ”That person is really interesting, almost like me.”

She gestured with her hands, ”Speaking of which, once I almost lost a suitcase this big too, thankfully Tangtang helped me find it. At that time, I wasn’t familiar with Tangtang, but later we became best friends.”

”I’m telling you, although Tangtang seems a bit harsh, she’s actually very nice.”

Xiangzi glanced back at her without responding.

However, Ai Xiaoxiao didn’t notice she was being ignored and kept on talking incessantly.

Until Luo Hao completed the procedures at the port authority, approached them, and said, ”Let’s go, we can board the ship now, Miss Tata is waiting for us there.”

The chubby guy hoisted the heavy shield onto his back and said this.

Heavy Shield Iron Defenders wear two layers of armor in combat, the outermost being magic guided reactor power armor, but that thing is both heavy and constantly consumes energy, so at the moment he’s only wearing the inner chainmail.

But speaking of inner armor, it actually covers almost the entire body, plus iron guard feet, looking not much different from a medieval heavy armored warrior.

Iron Defender is a profession extremely reliant on physical fitness and endurance.

That’s why, what seems like a heavy great shield to ordinary people, in his hand is no more cumbersome than a cloak.

To what he said, Ai Xiaoxiao nodded, and naturally, Xiangzi had no objections.

But as the three walked towards the direction of the Seven Seas Traveler, out of a cautious person’s, a persecution complex’s instinct, Luo Hao subconsciously glanced around.

And this cursory glance allowed him to see, over by the other side of the port, circling a giant tree trunk, the brightly armoured guards.

Luo Hao couldn’t help but look back at where the Seven Seas Traveler was, and suddenly had a bad feeling flash through his mind.

He set down the great shield, patted the shoulders of the two, ”Do you think those guards are coming for us?”

Ai Xiaoxiao, having no idea, turned to look too, but how could she understand the guards’ intent. ”How could they be,” she said, ”we’re not on that ship?”

”No,” Luo Hao shook his head, ”they’re not coming for us, they’re coming for the Seven Seas Traveler. I have a bad feeling—”

”No, but how do they know the Seven Seas Traveler?”

Ai Xiaoxiao suddenly gaped, seeing the guards take a turn and head towards this pier.

This pier had quite a few large ships docked, the Seven Seas Traveler hidden among a forest of masts, but from the looks of it—the guards seemed to be coming in their direction.

Xiangzi, seeing this, without a second word, reached under his coat and drew the Imperial Glory with a zing.

Seeing this, Luo Hao was almost scared to death, hastily pressing the guy’s hand back, forcing the sword back down.

”What are you doing, trying to get us killed?” he said irritably, ”get on the ship, quick.”

Xiangzi was stunned for a moment, though often juvenile in his manner, he wasn’t stupid, quickly understanding as he looked at the side, his gaze naturally falling on the masts of the nearby large ship.

He raised his hand, lightly pulling off his glove, then flicked towards that direction. The cables hanging on the mast of the big ship seemed to be pushed by an invisible hand, suddenly coming loose, knocking into the crates piled on the ship’s edge.

The crates immediately toppled down, rolling into the stacked cargo on the dock, instantly causing a domino-like chain reaction.
