Pillar of Yita

If it were any other airship, it would never dare attempt such a bold maneuver, but for Miss Tata, such precise operations are nothing out of the ordinary.

The port naturally dispatched magic guided conductors and two ships to search for them, but the rest of the Seven Seas Travel Group soon made an even bigger commotion, forcing the two airships to leave the port to provide support. As a result, no one paid attention to the whereabouts of the Seven Seas Traveler.

And it was not until this moment.

Fang Hong saw the Seven Seas Traveler appear and let out a long sigh of relief, putting down the communication crystal and directing the giant owl he was riding to fly over and land on the deck.

He jumped down from the saddle, patting the plush chest of the large owl, indicating it was free to return on its own. Once they were gone, the port would no longer trouble these giant owls lacking any target value, and they would fly back to the elves on their own.

As for explaining to the forest elves, it was simple enough to shift all responsibility onto them. After all, the white feather giant owls were snatched by them; they were taken by skill, so why shouldn’t they use them?

Even if the Orlenze people harbored some suspicion, they would have to choose to believe this story, as they needed help from the druids of the Holy Tree Forest, not the other way around.

At this moment, others also disembarked one after another, but only Tianlan was heartbroken as she looked at her bloodstained giant owl, wishing she could bandage it, though there was clearly no time for that now.

Miss Atira, after her inspection, concluded that it was not a serious issue, and although Tianlan was uneasy, she had no choice but to accept it.

She cried uncontrollably, hugging the large owl repeatedly, but in the end, she also had to let it go. The white feather giant owl seemed to have sensed Tianlan’s emotions, circling twice above the Seven Seas Traveler before flying away.

However, after the giant owl flew away, the crisis for the members of the Seven Seas Travel Group had clearly not been resolved. In fact, the trouble was just beginning.

At this time, Luo Hao emerged from below the deck, asking Fang Hong, ”Ade, what do we do next?”

Fang Hong looked up at the approaching griffon knights and flying dragon knights, knowing that as soon as they left the cover of the Floating Island Whale, the directions of Tarn Harbor and Orlenze City would immediately open fire.

But if they didn’t leave, the continuously arriving reinforcements would be enough to drown them; handling even the knights before them would be difficult enough.

To become a griffon knight, one’s level must be at least above level 20, with flying dragon knights having an even higher average level, and adding their fierce mounts underneath them, their combat power is far from simple addition of one plus one equals two.

However, Fang Hong quickly made a decision.

He pointed downward.

”Land Ridge Gorge?” Luo Hao asked curiously. Just like the edge of Istania’s continent, below the Sky Land is the Land Ridge, and the complex void canyons are like a giant maze, which is not only a paradise for smugglers but pirates also often take refuge here.

Fang Hong nodded. Departing the harbor in any direction would put them in the firing range of Tarn Port’s fortress, and the anti-aircraft fire from below Orlenze City would also serve them a bitter hit.

But by descending along the Giant Tree Tarn, avoiding the side facing Orlenze City was the only blind spot of Tarn Airport’s firepower. From this direction downward, they only needed to evade pursuing knights and airships.

”But the Orlenze people are no fools,” Luo Hao replied, somewhat surprised, ”They were ambushed once by the Imperials during the Battle of Bain, and since then, they’ve sealed off the entrance to the void canyons.”

”Let’s go down first,” Fang Hong couldn’t care any less, ”I have a plan, but we need to go down and see first.”

”Alright,” Luo Hao nodded, not daring to waste time, ”It’s up to you.”

And then he went back down to the cabin.

Fang Hong looked at the others: ”Don’t just stand around, head back to your posts. Even if there’s nothing to do, return to the cabin. There may be wounded soon, and the logistics team should be prepared.”

He was rarely so serious.

And the others all nodded gently in agreement.
